It might just be me, but I think the audio balance between the episode and your voices is a little off in this one. Compared to other Episode's audio your voice audio is much lower (in the Japanese version).

The theme for Subaru vs Aldini was dessert. Simone so confidently saying we hadn't seen it when they did it two episodes ago is a riot. XD

I have learned to eat before or during watching these. Made a baked cheesecake and ate way to much of it while watching this. Not sure if I have a specific favorite stew. No restaurants around here really so I most commonly make an old school hamburger stew with whatever I have available. It's just easy. I will usually break down a chicken once a month, cheaper that way, and make an old school chicken stew with dumplings. A gumbo always hits the spot too on a really cold winter night, though that's not something I really make often at all.

Glad she remembered by the end. Still funny.

All the Bacon talk reminds me of my one criticism of bacon and that it should be banned from Iron Chef cooking shows. I was a big fan growing up in the 90s/00s watching original Japanese Iron Chef. I was so impressed with how elegant and luxurious the theme ingredients and dishes were due to the Japanese judges and chefs having a more prestige and respect for european and asian style dishes and always made the dishes seem very high class and exotic. When the American version of Iron Chef was made, I was embarrassed by the show because regardless of the Chef, style or theme ingredient, it was a sure bet that each competitor would make at least one dish that was just the theme ingredient wrapped in bacon or just smothered in butter and than deep fried.....I'm not saying it wouldn't be delicious but come on, Americans literally would not know class if it snuck up on them and juggled their boobs XD

Wait if bacon is above fire, how did you get it crispy?^^ Knew that George would approve of the all meats bowl. I approve of the card battle contest though, the metaphors with just animals were getting weird :D. I was definitly betting on spices guy in that as well, but this is will make a tense finale and 3 episodes long I guess.

If you guys like anime that have the sort of "intense feel without REAL stakes", I'd recommend Girls und Panzer.
