Amaze! Amaze! Amaze! … Sorry to be that dude haha but can’t wait to see the Project Hail Mary reaction - especially knowing how special it is for Mr. George in particular. That said it’s spectacular cinema experience regardless. It Follows has one of the best horror premise in a long time too. Great stuff! Hopefully everyone’s having a splendid week 😎

TheLeftPecOfTheLord

YES! I knew you guys would fit Project Hail Mary in before your break! You’re gonna have so much fun, my number 1 of the year so far by a wide margin. Also Up and It Follows are long awaited and very anticipated reactions from me, great week! Amaze Amaze Amaze!

newhastings

I could’ve sworn ya’ll had already down Up but hey better late than never! Also excited for Project Hail Mary since you both read the book. The actress who plays Stratt (Sandra Hüller) was featured in two of my favorite films of 2024: Zone of Interest (which idk how would do on this channel reaction wise but still is an important watch) and Anatomy of a Fall (which i REALLY hope u react to eventually)

Śéáń

What a week. Seriously.

Deco

Up 😞

Kameron Webb

Project Hail Mary!!! Fist my bump!

dudewheresmycar

Just leaving a heads up. It's probably best to not record the TNG season 4 last episode on the same day as the first episode of season 5. Leave some distance between them.

SbE

Amaze amaze amaze indeed

your local cryptid

now this is more my kind of week. we were in dad movie territory for so long

Matthew Richson

Up along with Project Hail Mary? Helluva week!

Jacob King

It Follows!!! Not a big fan of Up but it gets us closer to Onward, a movie that could have been designed in a lab specifically to appeal to Simone.

Aatxe

Gah! Wish you'd wait a bit longer on Hail Mary to avoid such high rental costs so I can do a sync on my TV, but I get it. Popular new film is available, got get in on it quick. Glad you at least have the no copy needed videos for us patrons. Looking forward to it 😁

jmundt33a

Ending on a tearjerker. I would suggest also watching the short with the storks carrying bundles of joy as well.

Nate Gavin

Another great week (two in a row!).....its your channel so you gotta do's what you gotta do's. But I am thankful for weeks like this and next!

Denashi

Project Hail Mary AND Up? Amaze. Amaze. Amaze.

Chris Henderson

A roller coaster of reactions for next week.

Cameron_1

Hoping for Smile one Day

Thomas Yanez

But, but, but... I've been waiting for S05E02 for so long! *sigh* Fine. Ok. Whatever. Edit : Oh, never mind, you just said 'record'. My mind immediately went to adding an extra week before we got to S05E02. Carry on!

Thomas Yanez

I'm a big fan of "Up"... just not the first few minutes of "Up". But, yes, I look forward to Simone's reaction to this one. And "It Follows", for that matter.

Marcus Hicks

I am so happy they are finally getting around to Up. They'd better have plenty of tissues to hand.

Thomas Yanez

Regarding "Project Hail Mary", I'm looking forward to George's take on the changes they made for the movie adaptation.

Marcus Hicks

They will be reacting to ST:VI before they do Season 5.

Christian Da Silva

Really excited about Up and Project Hail Mary. Here are some other recommendations of no particular theme for the future: - The cable guy - Jingle all the way - Perfume: the story of a murderer - Fun with Dick and Jane - Yes man - Dallas Buyers Club - Starsky & Hutch (the Ben Stiller one) - Matilda - The Hangover 3 - White chicks - Anger management - Boat trip - Major Payne - Edward Scissorhands - Crazy, stupid love - Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events - The Pianist

Mikebdrx

I obviously missed something in a past video or discussion but why is it special to George? Just curious lol

JakeyShakeyBakeyBoy

All good dude! Unless I’m colossally off the mark it’s an audiobook/book the good gentleman has listened to 6-7 times at this point? Please anyone correct me if I’m getting numbers wrong there haha

Thomas Yanez

I have heard the changes described as "significant"... 😃

Jasbro

I didn’t even know Project Hail Mary was even out, I thought it just came out in the cinema lol, this is a damn good week, It Follows and Up

Mikebdrx

Cool sounds correct. I been holding off watching, incase S&G reacted to it.

s0rd3z

Dang I gotta binge read project hail Mary by next Thursday! Edit: I was so focused on Project Hail Mary I didn't notice UP as well! I hope Simone had tissues handy.

Thomas Yanez

With that level of interest, one wonders how he'll react to the changes made to adapt the movie. A lot of detail about the how and why of things just kinda goes POOF and/or compressed into Hollywood-ized versions.

Jpsynergy

Project Hail Mary will be a good one given what a big fan George is of the original work. Not sure if I am ready for Up again, devastating movie lol

Jonathan Eaton

Please let this be Simone's first time watching Up. 🙏

WalrusWallace

Nice! Looking forward to It Follows and Up!

Adam Vialpando

For some reason I thought you guys already reacted to UP.

Dan

George is actually an Eridian - don't tell anyone.

Dan

PHM has been in out in cinemas for almost two months now. It's still in cinemas - it'll be interesting to see how the streaming release will affect cinema receipts. I wonder if it could actually generate more cinema ticket sales than it displaces with some people wanting to see it again on the big screen.

jmundt33a

Those first few minutes are the best short in Pixar history.

Twiska Brand

Ironic... Rocky always reminded me of the dog from Up.

Jacob King

My main issue is the rest doesn’t live up to or tonally fit with the opening. It would be amazing if they dropped that montage two thirds into the movie, setting up the third act. Like Coco, I guess

sarCC

Yes! It Follows!!!

ReleasesTV

I went to see PHM and I was not expecting that. A very Refreshing take on Space movie! Like Wall-e days but 2026. Remember Wall-E? That was a masterpiece too.

ReleasesTV

good taste is what this is! AMAZE!

ReleasesTV

Up changed my outlook on life.

ReleasesTV

INDEED INDEED INDEED!

ReleasesTV

I think after 2 months things go down a bit regardless of their streaming Release. Still, a very good movie for space. Refreshing.

ReleasesTV

Thomas u a true fan!

ReleasesTV

Jacob, How come u not a fan of UP!!!??

ReleasesTV

Up was so good. remember watching it first time, oh man my parents thought i was going through breakup coz of all 'em teenage tears.

ReleasesTV

both are equally *heart*

Cole

Another week another no stranger things lmao

Data Cable

Guess I'm finally gonna see Up. I'm aware of how it opens, sheerly through cultural osmosis, but know absolutely nothing beyond that.

Freddy Cougar

I'm looking forward to it as well. I also love the book, mixed feelings about the movie but understand the changes that were made for the film.

Jacob Colson

JakeyShakey.... when will see the next music compilation? Love those videos!

Anthonyyyyyy

Has Simone already read the book ? I just remember George talking about PHM when they reacted to Sunshine, and Simone didn't know what it was about at that time-

Lars Ickenroth

Amaze, but also: keep the tissues ready ;)

newhastings

I distinctly remember at some point simone said she read it after george did

Soren Hunsaker

Could you two please react to Dreamworks The Bad Guys?

Tom Buckley

I didn't enjoy it in the cinema but I might just have been having a bad day so I'm glad to get the chance to see it again.

Brian Timm

I would like recommend: ■ PAIN & GAIN

Jay Johnson

I can't seem to find a post here on Patreon for "Up". i wonder if making and scheduling that post fell through the cracks when putting together their queue for break. (or maybe it is here and I just can't find it cuz I'm dumb. who knows) Not that big of a deal for me personally, as I already watched it when I saw it on the cinebingers site. I was just going to come here to post about a thought I had about the similarities between "Up" and "Gran Torino". Mostly just how they both center around a grumpy old widower who is at first annoyed by but then befriends an Asian boy/young man. Also both have golden retrievers (well, Dug seems golden retriever-esque to me at least)
