Yes! I’m so happy you guys are continuing with Creed 2, a very very worthy sequel in my opinion, and World War Z is very underrated with a crazy behind the scenes story. Great week ahead!

JakeyShakeyBakeyBoy

Great lineup next week and a time long coming for TNG to shout out a fellow Patron name that’s been in these videos for a good long while - and is a top 3 favourite ep for this guy 🤭 Have a nice weekend dudes

djKENTO

The politics of world war z are a nightmare. Be ready for the YouTube comments when you edit that.

Tony Wirt

Oh we got some bangers next week. Creed 2, Honey I Shrunk the Kids, and World War Z!

BigGuy209

Not that exciting of a week Movie wise.

Inkpendude

I could swear you guys already reacted to WWZ before

blerbaberpaterb

.....probably George has.....he references the book quite often.....

Steve Matthews

Yay! Creed 2, I'm hoping 3 is on the cards as well at some point.

GimliThroughTheStargate

Looking forward to next week. Honey, I shrunk the kids and world war z. Great that George read the book, looking forward to the reactions

CT

World War Z! What a perfect movie.

Inkpendude

No I mean I have fake memories of their reaction on youtube, like the whole movie lol

Cc Decc

Cool on the World War Z. its really not that great a movie overall, but it is entertaining. And the opening scenes in my old college haunt of Philadelphia are a great intro.

blerbaberpaterb

......ah......they have done a lot of zombie movies lately.... lol.....maybe thats why......

By Grapthar's Hammer, what a member!

World War Z is a great movie but an awful book adaption. I love the book so I try to think of the movie as it's own thing with no connection to the book.

Mike FromOz

A great week coming up! World War Z is an ok film. If you've read the book or listened to the audiobook, have no worries, the film won't spoil literally anything for you, haha.

David Coons

It's been quite a long while since we had a Bond movie on here. Any chance we'll get the delightfully cheesy Moonraker soon?

Jamie

I like it, but I've never seen anyone refer to it as perfect!

AnthemUnknown

Beat me to it. Literally what I said word-for-word out loud to myself when I read that comment. 😂

DemNikoArt

Too bad Top Secret didn't win the poll. But I hope you guys watch this comedy gem soon! 🤩

Thomas Yanez

S05E02? 'Cause I'm practically peeing myself waiting to see that reaction.

Jeff K.

If the movie had literally any other title, I'd say it's a very solid zombie film. But the fact that they got the rights to the book and turned it into something that has NOTHING to do with the book... frustrating. I've always thought someone needs to take WWZ (the book) and turn it into a 10 episode series on HBO or something, and make it like Band of Brothers, where you've got talking heads of the "survivors" bookending each episode to maintain the oral history element, with the stories from the book being the meat of each episode.

bdennis2004

Awesome, we've seen you two watch a lot of Mel Brooks. Now we get to see his son's work!

Jasbro

I have been eagerly awaiting World War Z for years now, cannot wait, still hoping for a sequel.

Mike FromOz

Yeah, having loved the book and audiobook (especially the parts narrated by Henry Rollins, John Turturro and Carl Reiner), I was stoked going in. Then... nope... nothing I remember from any of the book. It was also the 3d craze back then, and the showing I went to was 3D only, so I got to see Brad Pitt waving around a 3D spatula. Odd, odd times. And yeah, if it were named anything else, I would also say "Yup, that's a fine zombie flick".

John

This looks like a great week. An all timer TNG episode. “Darmok with his hands open.” I think it will be interesting to compare a great book to movie adaptation (Project Hail Mary) to a less faithful adaptation (World War Z). I really loved the book and some of Max Brooks other works including his graphic novel The Harlem Hellfighters about WW I soldiers

John

I think they could a Ken Burns style WW Z movie with images and audio if it’s a cost issue for studios.

Michael Gryphon

What happened to, so I married an ax murderer?

blerbaberpaterb

.....thats tomorrow..... poll winners are every saturday...... and that was last weeks poll winner so it should be posted tomorrow......

2026-09-13 17:00 Why not space them out evenly? TV, Film, TV, Film, TV, Film, TV.

Hi Lloyd, so this is actually due to us adding things to the weekly schedule over time. at the start of the channel years ago it was just 3 movies, one every other day with Monday being the start of a poll. then a tv show became a permanent fixture and we added it to one of the empty days of the week, being Tuesday. then a while later we decided to add Star Trek into the schedule and Wednesday was the only free day left so we added it there. finally with Anime, we decided to add them on the days that had no videos posted which were Mondays and Fridays. so the schedule accumulated to be this way over time rather than designed to be this from the start. we never changed the dates of movie posting as a lot of our patrons have been with us for years and we figured the familiarity and consistency of when to expect movies/tv is better than having symmetry for the sake of it.

Jamie

good, to, know! @

Jamie

I'm weirdly looking forward to Redemption part 2 more. Has one of my all time favourite scenes :)

Jamie

Thomas, when the reaction was uploaded

s0rd3z

Great week! I love Rick Moranis sooo much. TNG s5 is, in my opinion, one of the most solid seasons throughout. I have fave episodes that are not in this season but overall I feel it's just really consistent across the board.

s0rd3z

Wednesday will forever be Star Trek day in perpetuity.

REDR58

I like World War Z just fine for what it is and even if I had read the book, I don’t care that it’s not like the book.

REDR58

It’s a perfectly cromulent movie.

Joe R

You should do a reaction to 3 Body Problem on Netflix. It is from a trilogy of books written by a Chinese science fiction writer. Seasons 2 and 3 are currently in production.

REDR58

Which would be great had the movie actually been filmed in Philadelphia not in Glasgow, Scotland which doesn’t really look like Philadelphia and with the civilian cars with the front license plates that are not a thing in Philadelphia or Pennsylvania (thank the maker—front license plates are an eyesore). I’ll be sure to complain about that again during the reaction.

REDR58

…in perpetuity throughout the Universe.

Jeff K.

Oh no... someone check on Simone. Just announced that Anthony Head (Rupert from both Buffy and Lasso) has passed away. Ugh.

DF

That show had potential but I got bored half way through. The acting was some of the worst I've seen in a while. Some of the show was cool and unexpected but overall I wouldn't say it's worth anyone's time, especially as a reaction.

djKENTO

yeah that's not what I'm talking about tho...

HadesTheLame

While Creed 3 is my personal favorite. Creed 2 is in my opinion the best of the trilogy. I can't wait to see you guys watch it

HadesTheLame

While World War Z is nothing like the book, I still really enjoyed it. I look at them like 2 separate entities. I would however be interested in what a book accurate WWZ movie would look like.

Joey Cruz

Wish it would’ve been ‘The Cable Guy’ as poll winner, but ‘Honey, I shrunk the kids’ is fine.

REDR58

That’s too bad. Only 72. Looks like complications from pneumonia. He was also featured as “Adam Klaus” (before the role was recast for subsequent episodes) in the first episode of the BBC TV mystery/comedy/drama series “Jonathan Creek” starring Alan Davies and you can watch that episode from 1997 here: https://www.dailymotion.com/video/x8psag1

Cc Decc

If you want authentic Philly so much, go watch Rittenhouse in The Happening. :p

Mubiki

If you have read the World War Z book, the secret to enjoying the movie is accepting it has nothing to do with the book whatsoever other than the name. Just pretend it's something else entirely and they accidentally gave it that name, and it's pretty good.

DannyDarko

Great week ahead! also you guys 100% need to watch/react to OBSESSION as soon as its available ( I think you will anyway), my god its INSANE & AMAZING, best film of the year in my opinion, the lead actress is mind-blowingly good, my head is still spinning and not sure what to do with my life after just seeing it! Cant wait for your reaction to it!!!!

Matt Blanchette

Wait'll we get to Glasgow playing NYC in "Spider-Man"!

John Smith

I really hope they never do Discovery, no matter how long they continue their Star Trek journey.

Cc Decc

Which one? I quite frankly have given up on superhero movies and the endless reboots, but way back on the first one, with Toby, they actually filmed scenes on the roof of the very building I worked in in NYC.
