It's kinda funny how you somehow still think that Haruta (ponytail guy) is alive, when we saw him get sliced to pieces by Sukunas technique a couple of episodes back :D

A lot of the questions ya'll were asking when watching these episodes were already answered by the show previously. Kamo/Brain already told Gojo when sealing him that he should have disposed off geto's body by giving it to Shoko (medic), but he didn't do it so it made it easy for the Brain to get a hold of Geto's body after his death in the movie. The brain also explained that he gets to use the cursed techniques of the body the takes over, which is why he wanted Geto's body in the first place.

So...the whole deal with Mei Mei is pretty much to show that being on the protagonist's side and being a good person are NOT at all the same thing. You're not meant to like Mei Mei, the jujutsu society has a lot of corruption (the Zenin clan, the elders that want to kill Itadori and using the opportunity of Gojo's sealing to keep him out of the picture hence why its a crime for other to release him etc.) Mei Mei is someone who doesn't care about anyone else but herself, her brother included. The show also does an intentional juxtaposition, Nanami who always wanted to go on a vacation to Malaysia, stayed and sacrificed himself in the line of duty by doing his job, by doing the right thing, Mei Mei cowardly ran away from fake Geto and is (disgustingly) grooming her younger brother while living it up in a hotel in Malaysia while making a profit (the place Nanami always wanted to retire to) and not lifting a finger to help because she doesn't care. Life isn't fair and sometimes the spoils go to the opportunistic entitled scum. That's sort of the harsh lesson that scene is meant to represent.
