Ironclad Nomad

Stan Winston was a legend. He was responsible for animatronics and practical effects you've already seen The Thing, both Terminator movies, Jurassic Park, and The Lost World. Before he died in 2008, he oversaw the practical suits for Iron Man.

Lee

About the 80s action cheese, I've heard this movie described (by Redlettermedia) as a horror film where the protagonists believe they are in an action movie. It's got all the 80s movie cliches including the over-indulgent 'last' battle then switches to a horror film.

Re: Testosterone levels Just wait until the crocheting scene.

Luis Torrefranca

"Is it invisible?" It's got the Invisibility Cloak from Hogwarts! "Yer a wizard, Arnold!"

Luis Torrefranca

I swear, the minigun here sounds like a vacuum cleaner. Makes me feel like a badass when I clean.

Re: Arnold getting hit in the arm. It's the cybernetic endoskeleton.

Re: Trophies. It took a while for me to really hear what the woman says when talking about her village, but they call it the "... demon that makes trophies of man"

SuperMachoJediKnight

the camouflage shape doesnt make a difference. it's to break up the shape of the face, not to "blend in"

Eik104

Your photoshop thumbnails are so cringe! but fun 🤣

LOL Simone is HYPER :) It makes a big difference with the stripes in camouflage. Smearing your head/hands just makes the white faces darker and not so easy to spot, but the shape of the head is still easily recognisable to the human eye and it stands out in nature. Dark stripes distorts the contours of the head and makes it difficult to recognise the shape of a head. In movies the stripes is often done in a wrong way so here it's just a gimmick.

Michael Myatt

For awesome one-liners, nothing beats Arnold in "Commando".

Ken - Kendo161

the shapes and stripes should be based on the environment your in. the jungle has lots of stripey shadows and dappled light.

Another nightmare fuel thumbnail, but still awesome reaction. I’m surprised neither of ya’ll knew what Predator was all about. But yet again idk how far reaching it is in a broader sense of pop culture.

E.P.B.F.

*curled into fetal ball* ....the horror...the horror...

Prof. Writhms

The creature and make-up effects for "The Thing" was Rob Bottin. He also worked on Robo Cop, Seven, Fight Club, and Total Recall (to name a few). Not to take anything away from Winston, of course. He was genius.

Gary Poussard

Total Recall is another Arnie classic.

Daryl

Now THIS is top tier Simone thumbnail 🤣🔥🔥🔥

My fav Ah-nold film is TOW-tul rih-CAOWL

The Arnold Conan movies are really cheezy but they have some cool fantasy stuff in them. Plus Mako who voices Iroh in avatar is in the movie as well as the narrator. You can hear him in the second half of this trailer. https://youtu.be/Nok-jOYn6Dg

Anthony Phillip Reyes

there are quite a few movies with the same "Predator" character's species in it. I'm interested to see the next movie you guys watch that has the predator in it and how what you learned in this film influences your later reaction. They even face off with the Xenomorphs from alien, aliens at one point.
