also not sure if anyone commented this but munchausen by proxy is a disorder where someone will try to gain attention from others by making up / exaggerating / causing illness on someone they are looking after

Parents poisoning children is unfortunately common -- it's called "Munchausen by proxy" syndrome. Speaking of which, this was a WONDERFUL reaction from you both, but it was also a little frustrating because you guys were talking about utterly OT stuff during the important moment when the kid and therapist show up at the little girl's house for the wake. And Simone, the little girl was Mischa Barton! Who was a terrific child actor before she grew up. Meanwhile, wonderful reaction, and looking forward to more. Haley Joel Osment deserved his Oscar nom (I would have given it to him over Michael Caine, but loved that Caine saluted him in his acceptance speech). I also loved Bruce Willis's quiet take here, and thought he and the rest of the cast were terrific. As for Toni Collette, if it were up to me, she'd already have a shelf of Oscars, darn it. The woman is amazing.

The Stuttering Stanley scene baffled me for years, but listening to it with headphones finally made it click because you can kind of hear other voices chanting "Stuttering Stanley! Stuttering Stanley!" with Cole. The teacher did mention there was a big fire when he was younger, so the implication is definitely that some of his childhood bullies are still haunting the school and that's how Cole heard it. Probably shouldn't have been so unclear to me for so long, but I can be slow on the uptake, lol

If more Shyamalan movies are of interest, then recommendations from me would be Unbreakable, Signs, and Split, viewed in that order (very specific reason why).

Simone, I understand this movie made you very uncomfortable. But this is one of the best reactions you guys have done, it really was. George cracking jokes, and your incredulity contrasted perfectly with the movie.

Great reaction as always, guys. Another great movie with Haley Joel Osment I'd recommend if you haven't seen it yet is A.I directed by Steven Spielberg. His performance in that movie, to me, is one of the best by a child actor after this one.

Yeah let's stop giving Simone this kind of stuff. We don't want this to be not fun for her. How about some stuff like the first Tom Cruise 'Mission Impossible', or 'Ocean's 11' or some "older" action movies that are fun?

I'm writing a prequel called The Fifth Sense in which the main character thinks everyone around him smells bad but in the end, he finds out that it's he himself that stinks. Dang it! I just gave away the surprise ending.

This was a beautiful movie, had it on my watch list for a long time but never got around to watching it but I saw u had a reaction so I figured now is the time. That unfinished adult actor was really good, sadly I expected Malcom to be dead after the kid said "they dont even know they dead" and him never interacting with anyone except Cole. Surely gonna recommend this movie to friends, it was great even tho I sadly didnt get the wow you guys had. Thanks for the reaction!
