Any chance you could add an extra category called Full Length Reactions? to get rid of the YouTube versions,, just for ease of access?

When Princess Vespa is singing in the prison cell it's a reference to slavery. The song "Nobody knows the trouble I've seen" originates from African-American slaves. It's used in several movies to reference slavery or imprisonment.

The trooper combing the desert who says “We ain’t found shit!” is actor Tim Russ, who went on to play Tuvok on Star Trek: Voyager.

If you wanna "go Rambo" as you talk about then then first movie is called "First Blood" and not Rambo ;) The rest of the movies can not in any way be compared to First Blood. It's like: hey this one can sell, lets make it a franchise.

Stallone should certainly be on the list with Schwarzenegger and Willis for movie reactions. I’m surprised that you are so proudly Canadian but you don’t seem to recognize any of the Second City Canadian legends in the movies you have watched. Rick Moranis, John Candy, Catherine O’Hara, etc. They are part of some of the greatest comedies in the last 40 years. I hope you get to many more of them!

I Highly recommend rocky before First Blood (Rambo) just because Rocky is what made Stallone famous. I also recommend either before or after Rocky to look up some facts about the film (Regarding things like the the gamble Stallone made/ the dog in the film)

I was reminded of another movie, anyone seen The Hudsucker Proxy? Coen bros movie, less well-known than Fargo and No Country for Old Men, but light, sweet and funny. George & Simone, what do you think?

So about Lucas and Brooks. Mel knew this parody was very close to Star Wars and spoke to Lucas before making the film to make sure Lucas would be okay with it. Lucas said he was cool with it as long as Brooks didn't try to do any merchandising from the movie. Presumably because he thought it might cut into his profits from SW merchandising. Anyway, that's why you see all the Space Balls products in the movie. It's an inside joke. None of the stuff was ever made for the public.
