I love how in the movie, the EPA guy is presented as an asshole, but the guys were running an unlicensed nuclear reactor in New York and making people pay them to “get rid of ghosts”. I mean, come on

Ghostbusters 2 is decent but much more cartoony. Ghostbusters Afterlife is hard to place cuz it feels like they dismiss the second movie, however I thought it was still a great movie.

You say get rid of ghosts like they weren't doing it. The reactor was just part of the job, wouldn't ask a plumber to work without a wrench.

One constant you'll see over and over in movies and TV shows from the 80's and 90's ... whenever someone is carrying groceries in a paper bag, there will always, always, ALWAYS be a celery sticking up out of the bag ... because, apparently celery = groceries ;-)

I have a suggestion, if you two havn't seen the movie: Groundhog Day (1993) It's Groundhog Day February 2. so you could release it on YouTube, and maybe Patreon as well, on that day ;) I have no doubt you are gonna like the movie, and it has a super high score on IMDB ;) (It came to my mind as it features Bill Murray.)

Great reaction to one of my favorite movies! You gotta react to Ghostbusters 2 (1989) and the most recent Ghostbusters: Afterlife (2021). I love Ghostbusters 2, not as good as the original, but that's a high mark to reach. Ghostbusters: Afterlife was delightful. You could go back and watch Ghostbusters (2016) eventually(see how NOT to make a Ghostbusters movie) but it's not part of this continuity.

I think Ghostbusters 2 might be better than the first one. They are both great. Ghostbusters: Afterlife is basically GB3.

Please watch Ghostbuster II and Ghostbusters: Afterlife but avoid "Ghostbusters": Answer the Call like the plague as it will destroy your soul.

Slightly different tone but Ghost (1990) is an absolute classic I think you'd really enjoy
