We just lost A LOT of our videos on YT, and we're trying to figure out why. (Patreon)

Hey everyone, some of you guys have messaged us saying that you can't find some of our videos and here's what happened and what we know so far.

A few hours ago we got a bunch of video take down emails from YouTube and over 2 dozen of our videos have been removed without warning. We have reached out to YouTube support to find out what's going on, and are still waiting to hear back. For the time being we have removed any Patreon posts related to those missing videos, so that new patrons don't find a bunch of posts with dead links, as well as for our own sake of organization. We're not really sure what happened but hopefully YT support gets back to us soon... 😥

:( I'm so sorry to hear that this is happening. You're not the first reactors I watch to have this happen to them recently. Youtube is getting ... a little ridiculous I think with how much they're censoring. I hope you two can get them back up!

Well that's scary. Hopefully it's only temporary. Sometimes reactors get strikes out of nowhere, and the parties making the claims are some mysterious, anonymous entity.

Ugh. Sorry to hear this. I know VKunia lost her first channel entirely but that was due to Studio Ghibli being asshats. Hopefully you can get this resolved swiftly.

Sorry to hear that. Are they short versions or full reactions? It might be a good idea not to include footage of the movie if its full reactions.

This happened to one of the other Patreon channels I subscribe to, but with Vimeo. I would recommend not including any part of the movie in the full reactions.

It is a simple fix for your full reactions on patreon,all you have to do is blur the image of the movie a little bit,so that it is not showing a clear image of any of the movie,but also making sure patreons can still make out the shapes and where you are in the movie for syncing

Dang! I hope it gets sorted out for you guys. Love every last thing you guys do. I'm sticking around no matter what happens though. Math gives, and math taketh away. YT really needs to sort out their algorithms. This is too much of a problem for many creators.

So sorry to hear that, you guys do such great edits. They don't realize that these reaction videos are the best promotions. I just watched "Chernobyl". You know why? So many reactions for it. "Just watched "The Lighthouse". You know why? So many reactions for it. When reactors put up their schedule or announce what they'll be reacting to next, I will sometimes watch the movie just so I can catch the reaction. Very sorry they're missing the boat on this.

Sorry to hear that, hopefully you are allowed to upload them again. Another channel, had simmilar problems. He wanted to react to the Cobra Kai show, and was only able to upload the videos with a big watermark and the volume, of the show, tuned down to nearly zero. If you want the reference, the channel is karatedojowaku. I hope you and youtube find a solution. Ps.: you are great, I love you both 😁

Good luck solving this, or at least avoiding further problems. Having just watched your reaction to The Hunt for Red October (aka John McTiernan's 1990 movie), allow me to once again push for The 13th Warrior (1999), which McTiernan half-directed. Basic plot: a 10th century Muslim (Antonio Banderas) joins a bunch of Vikings on a quest. Manliness ensues :-) . (But a charismatic and intelligent one, I hasten to add!) By the way, George: if you thought the language-transition scene in HfRO was cool, the 13W one is legendary.

Regarding the full reactions, it probably has something to do with showing the original film throughout the reaction. Maybe try having some sort of reflection in the background of your video to reflect the film. Storm Akima does that to all their reactions. They have a tiny little mirror. Instead of having the film Embedded.

Errrrr.......I'm guessing this is why all three Full Length LOTR vids are now gone.....Stupid YouTube...sigh... Hopefully everything gets put to rights soon...

It will work out! If anything, you can still keep going and look into other ways to upload. I think it will be okay and the videos will be recovered. You'll get through this. :)

On a related note: might I suggest (once you've dealt with this aggravation) that you provide, in some form, a list of movies that you've reacted to or already seen? The purpose would be to avoid (well, lessen) unnecessary recommendations.

hope you have backups :) for fll reaction maybe add a blurr for the background or something ... its just simple stupid its only usefull to sync better xD i start udnerstand why so many have their full reacs not on yt

Ah, no wonder. I missed this post, and was wondering why it felt like I wasn't finding things I was looking for, like the final HP film, and the latest Mandalorian. Good luck getting them back! Do you still have the original videos, so you could upload them again, on YT or somewhere else?
