Content

Hey folks! With just 1 more upload of Mandalorian Season 1 left so it's that time again for the Patreon Exclusive tv show poll!

This poll will run for 1 week when the final 2 episodes Mandalorian S1 is posted.

Here are some of the shows you have suggested as well as returning runner ups. Remember you can vote for multiple shows; and just because a tv show lost, it does not mean we will never watch it. Its only a matter of which first~*** We decided to add an estimated count for how long its likely going to take us to finish a season of these shows; this is calculated base on average length of episode, the number of episodes per season, and the content type whether it requires time to digest due to subject matter or if its light hearted and easily digestible. So whichever show wins, that is the length of time it will take before the next Exclusive Poll is available***

Arcane is the best "TV" show I saw in years. Good story and worldbuilding, but even greater characters and some of the most frustrating and nail biting cliffhangers I've seen! And I'm not playing LoL...

POSTALMNDCLARITY

The expanse pleeeease!! If it was an option I'm willing to bet it would easily beat everything else on the list. It's so amazing!

Grumples

Happy to see Deadwood on here! Hopefully in the future we get to see you watch it.

MacGuffinStuff

An embarrassment of riches with these choices, but very intelligent viewing strategy. Deadwood? Wow, never expected that on a poll, great show, loved it plus it has a movie now. Chernobyl is amazing, probably the best miniseries I've ever seen, but it's also so so so dark, I think you have to binge this one because you'll want to get it over with. Therefore I'm rooting for Mandalorian, it's the most fun to rewatch.

Kamilla Mari

I vote Chernobyl! Chernobyl is literal art, it's so well made. It hits you in all the feels, especially when you realise the accuracy it has towards what really happened. It's just such an important show that helps us grasp a horrifying piece of history.

Ben Rogers

I'd love to see the mandalorian continue but both one punch man and arcane are great series which would be awesome to see reactions to!

Rick LaRochelle

I agree Chernobyl is the best show on the list, but I can’t vote against Mando s2

Chris Davies

Since Fawlty towers is an option, for future I would strongly recommend Red Dwarf. The first season of red dwarf in my opinion is a bit mediocre and not representative of the overall quality of the series, but it becomes amazing, it is still the most hilarious fun show I've ever seen. Black Adder is great too; both of those shows are the best of the classic british comedy shows, along with Fawlty towers.

Dustin

Chernobyl will be a gut wrenching watch for you guys. It’s great but it hangs with you for a long time.

Christopher Greenley

I've got to vote for Mango season two. Even more awesome than the first.

Christopher Greenley

Some TV show suggestions. Monk is a good show, Lucifer, and I've heard Yellowstone is really good.

Travis

Mandalorian season 2 is really good. If your into Star Wars, Boba Fett's series starts later than Mandalorian 2

JayF

Chernobyl is only 5 episodes and is the best on the list IMO.

ExquisiteCapybara

Chernobyl is a fantastic show. + Shirtless sweaty dudes for Simone

Toc

"Chernobyl" has not left my mind since I saw it. Really good and guaranteed mondo reactions during all five episodes.

David Martin

It must be Chernobyl. Everyone should watch this series. And there are too few reactions to it on YT. Some real-life drama instead of fantasy.

Kripke's Corner

Perhaps, one day, I'd love for you guys to watch Supernatural. At least the first 5 seasons. I know Simone would fall in love with Sam and Dean. :D

Andreas Bergerstedt

Regardless of who wins this pole ; Fawlty towers is a really good idea, at some point.

Eldarth

Problem with these polls is newer generations have never seen incredible older shows (like Fawlty Towers) and rarely get anywhere near the votes of newer junk.

Mario

Chernobyl is defenitely a must see in historical view. True story of which some parts of the world still not have recovered.

Eik104

Weeds is a nice series as well, but many seasons so I don' think now is a good time to start

PickettsChargingPort

Tough choice. For me it's a tie between Chernobyl and Mando season 2. I think they are both really good shows.

Caleb Harvey

Mr monk Turn Washington spies The crown

Einherj

Deadwood. Best western to date.

David Crabtree

Mandelorian Season 2! This is the way!

Githerax

How about I write in 'X-Files' seasons 1-9?

Zach Greenleaf

You guys should watch LOST, at some point. I think Simone will especially love it. Full of mystery, suspense, and amazing characters/character development!

Michael

I know Fawlty Towers won’t win (it’s too obscure) but hot dang was I impressed to see it on the list.

Florian Hoyer

you cant just stop mandalorian after 1 season xD you have to continue its to good guys xD

Charlie Murphy

Chernobyl! Im a nuclear engineer and while some liberties have to be taken for cinematic purposes, I think it captures the feelings of the disaster very well. I like the first season of Mandalorian and the first half of Mandalorian season 2, however, I think the second half is just a nostalgiac puke fest

David Crabtree

Chernobyl will be real joy to watch! Such a heartfelt and uplifting story.

Christopher Greenley

I can't believe Chernobyl is beating Mando season 2. Especially, since season 1 won by such a large margin. Common Star Wars fans out there vote. Let The Force Be With You!

Maxwell Long

I'm just here to suggest Community til the day I die

Jenny Tolls

I don’t understand why people in every reactors poll vote for Chernobyl. Yeah it’s not bad but it’s not so good that it should beat out every other show.

Robb

Arcane :( hopefully at some point Loved the series

Gary Trousdale

Chernobyl is absolutely stunning, but can be pretty rough as well. It’s got my vote.

HeyHeyJK

I mean, I could have voted for several different shows, but given your recent reactions to Monty Python, I had to vote for 'Fawlty Towers'. One of the great British comedies, and only 12 short episodes over 2 seasons (gotta love those shorter UK seasons). Just under six hours total for the entire run of the series!

Bosch was the longest-running Amazon Studio show on the Amazon Prime streaming service, lasting 7 seasons. Each season adapted up to 3 of Connelly's novels into interweaving cases, which means the show had adapted the bulk, but not yet all, of the books. The character had to be aged down from the Bosch of the novels since the latter was a Vietnam War vet.

For those who may be unfamiliar with it, Fawlty Towers is a classic sitcom created by and starring John Cleese of Monty Python fame. When I say "classic," I don't mean old, I mean arguably the best ever. Cleese, at his manic best, plays a not-very-competent and definitely irritable hotel owner. Unlike Monty Python's Flying Circus and the movies, Fawlty Towers is almost perfectly focused and distilled humour. There are two seasons (done four years apart), each consisting of a grand total of six half-hour episodes. Distilled. One possible advantage for Simone and George is that the show's "foreignness" (UK in the late '70s) can provide them with more to react to. Reasons not to vote for this: 1. You have no sense of humour 2. For some baffling reason, you have yet to see it and wish to do so before S&G react to it 3. You have a medical condition which makes laughter dangerous 4. You are outraged, outraged! that this is only Season 1.

Deadwood is amazing and got my vote. Its been described as Shakespearean in it's dialogue and that's a compliment in all the best ways. Its very much character based but has some great plot points. Maybe someday...

Edman

Some heavy hitters on this list

David Martin

I hope to someday see "Killing Eve" suggested in a poll.

James Whalen

"Always Sunny in Philadelphia" should always be an option.

Curious

Minute for minute, Fawlty Towers is the greatest thing ever on television. Only twelve episodes and there isn't a second wasted. One of the greatest comedy minds of the 20th century at his absolute finest. Not only hysterical but also clever in a way that virtually nothing on television ever is.

E.P.B.F.

Well since Fawlty Towers made the list, and received positive commentary, let me throw two more future potential contenders' hats in the ring: 1) Blackadder. All seasons of Blackadder are hysterically funny (at least to me), but i dare you not shedding a (wo)manly tear while watching that final scene of the last episode of Black Adder Goes Forth. 2) Yes Minister. Anyone who has ever had to deal with bureaucracy and/or the political process won't be able to keep themselves from laughing while simultaneously nodding how very close the show and its successor Yes Prime minister 's comedic absurdity hews to actual reality.

E.P.B.F.

Just to put it out there: if you ever get around to watching Karate Kid then you simply must pick up the Cobra Kai tv show as well. That is the gold standard for how you do a franchise reboot _right_ .

Florian Hoyer

There are many good series like expanse and altered carbon that are just amazingly good

Kripke's Corner

Are we allowed to vote for more then 1? It seems to allow us.

David Martin

So people would rather watch a fantasy (Mandalorian) than be enlightened about a truly horrifying real-world incident (Chernobyl)? Sad commentary on humanity, but I guess not surprising in view of the movies that have been popular for the last 20 years.

ExquisiteCapybara

Friends, I implore the people who have not voted for Chernobyl or The Mandalorian to cast their vote for Chernobyl. Clearly this is a 2-party-system. Do not waste your vote! :D. Seriously though considering how close this is i am sure the "loser" will be in another poll or maybe Simone and George will even watch both (//hint ;) )

Christopher Greenley

Chernobyl doesn't interest me. I can think of better subjects in history. To talk about and watch. But, that's just me.

Sisyphus

Chernobyl is one of my favorites of all time.... but I worry about some of the content in Ep 4 being reviewed on this channel.

Daryl 👽

I can’t believe we’re getting Chernobyl! ^o^
