Very off topic from this, but I'd really recommend checking out The Rundown. Action-adventure comedy with The Rock, Seann William Scott, Christopher Walken, Rosario Dawson. Rewatched it a few days ago and forgot just how good it was.

Starship Troopers is another great Paul Verhoeven over the top sci-fi

another good Verhoeven Movie imho: Starship Troopers It doesn't land with everyone, but since you have now Verhoevens best 2 movies, you'll get what he's going for. I would say it's his 3rd best... Hollow Man is late 90s trashy fun. Basic Instinct and Showgirls are just trash.

Just finished the reaction. Glad you guys liked it. I echo the Starship Troopers requests, though it may have to be a Patreon exclusive. In terms of Robocop, I would watch Robocop 2, and stop there. Some awesome action and creature effects in that film. Though it is not a Verhoeven film.

Starship Troopers is a fun film, but they should have called it something else. It's supposedly based on a classic sci-fi novel by Robert Heinlein, but the only thing Verhoeven kept from the book is that the main character's name is Juan "Jonnie" Rico, and they're fighting Bugs.

For a Peter Weller film that was WAY ahead of it's time! The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai: Across the 8th Dimension. George: This film came out in 1987, ho long have we been able to calibrate targeting and audio analysis the way they are describing? That's a serious question, I don't know.
