So I just started re-watching this series to get ready to binge season 3 and I remembered you guys reacted to it so I decided to watch along with you and I got caught off guard by the "controversy" talk. I honestly forgot all about it. I know it wasn't your intention to stir the pot but I hope you guys try to steer clear from these types of discussions in the future because it causes nothing but trouble. I think it's safe to say most of us come here just to have fun and get away from all the BS that's out there...from all sides.

Let me be clear that the actress that plays Cara Dune, Gina Carano, is NOT a bad person. Disney and the extreme leftist labeled her a bad person for stupid reasons. All started with the Gender Pronouns thing. People started harassing and being cruel to her simply because she didn't know what it was. Heck, at that time, even I didn't know what the hell it was. When she finally added something in for her Gender Pronoun which was something funny, droid speech, she was pretty much CONDEMNED by mostly leftist and tried to get her fired at Disney. More happened but as you can see, people were out to get her from the start. If anyone wishes to see an interview with Gina Carano about what happened, I'll be happy to share the link if you want to know the truth.

To answer your question George, No. In Star Wars lore, the Tusken Raiders (sand people) and Jawas have never revealed their faces... Officially. Although, you'll learn in the Book of Boba Fett that Jawas are very... Furry. :P

Fun fact; the concept art for the Krayt dragon and the spider creatures is originally from all the way back before the filming of A New Hope. Some really cool stuff that never made it into the OT or any of the other Star Wars stuff have been added to The Mandalorian instead!

Fun Fact; One of the X-Wing pilots is Dave Filoni. He is one of the main reasons why Star Wars is still popular. He's also done Clone War series which he will be bringing in a lot of characters from that into the Mandalorian and Book of Boba Fett. :D

This was a HUGE issue after this episode aired. "Lucasfilm creative art manager Phil Szostak tweeted some reasoning behind the move: "For the record, Chapter 10 of #TheMandalorian makes it clear that the Frog Lady's eggs are unfertilized, like the chicken eggs many of us enjoy. But obviously, chickens aren't sentient beings and the Child eating the eggs is intentionally disturbing, for comedic effect." Some fans upset about the scenes didn't find that explanation satisfying (at least, not nearly as satisfying as Baby Yoda found Frog Lady's eggs). A couple of examples: "I'm a mom. It's not funny at all to hear mama frog lady go into great detail about how important & beloved her eggs are to her & have to watch them get eaten on 3 separate occasions for s---s & giggles. Can't just *one* mom get to survive AND keep her kids?" one user tweeted. Another wrote, "for the record, the frog lady was very adamant about the fact that her eggs were important to her, and that it was her last and only chance to have kids, so it's actually closer to f---ing up someone's [in vitro fertilization] which would be incredibly upsetting for a wannabe mom. it's not funny." On the flip side of that coin, the toy company Funko sells a Mandalorian "The Child with Egg Canister" toy. Yup, an adorable-looking toy inspired by what some consider the show's darkest moment. Now you too can play with Baby Yoda as he cruelly gobbles up the hope and future of Frog Lady's family. Baby Yoda become Death, the destroyer of worlds, in Funko form."

I stand by Gina Carano. She didn't say anything wrong. People have said far worse. But, who cares lets just get away from politics here. I'm getting pretty tired of it. Lets just enjoy ourselves and watch Mando.

While I love this second season of Mandalorian, these first 2 episodes were really my least favorite of the season. I don't dislike them, but I've found myself skipping them when I revisit this season. For me, the season really gets going in episode 3.

I have zero interest in watching The Mandalorian,but after reading these comments,I might just have to watch this episode to see what George said to start a war😯 Whatever it was,I think it may be wise to edit it out of the Youtube version before posting it on there But keep being you also George,that's what i'm here for✌

I didn't have any interest in The Mandalorian either, and I'm an OG Star Wars fan (saw Ep 4 in theaters in '77). Oddly enough, if you watch it as though it *isn't a Star Wars show*, it's better.

Considering that this is a Patreon/YouTube channel that reacts to TV and Movies, it's going to be impossible for you guys to not take an opinion on the issues at hand. I hope that you never have to self-censor on a continual basis, because we're all here for your reactions. The strong reaction that made you mute a portion of the commentary is disheartening, but since it's tangential to the show itself I think it's understandable. However, I'm disappointed that the people who took issue with it are accusing others of silencing someone. This was a cynical business decision made by a company looking out for its bottom-line. Props for encouraging everyone to keep it civil, and I hope this comment is in line with that aim, but I hope you two are able to keep the genuine reactions coming because that's what we're all here for!

So about the eggs. On one hand, it's not bad that he's eating them in the sense that they aren't fertilized so he's not eating her actual growing kids. But at the same time, she says these eggs are the last of her line which I think means she won't have any more eggs so every egg he eats is a kid that won't be born. Which is bad.

No, I don't think that Jawas nor Sand People have ever been revealed as to how their appearance is "below the hood". Sand People are also called "Rasta Aliens" - for whatever reason. Corpses of Jawas had been analyzed however and the conclusions were that they do look rodend-like.

So, I was wondering why they didn't finish the series, but these comments pretty much cleared that up. Simone and George, you are two of the sweetest people on YouTube, so please don't let sad, unfulfilled people (read: people who get into political debates in YouTube comments) drag you into the mud with them or get you down in any way. You guys are awesome.
