Last weeks winner was Pans The Mummy. We will be filming our reactions tomorrow and it should be ready for Patreon by Thursday.

Since Demolition Man was also highly sought after and got a bunch of votes, we decided to push something else next week to a later date to make room for this movie as well. It will be on Patreon end of next week.

Until then, here's more action films you've all suggested, it is by far the most suggested genre by huge margin.

Remember, you can vote for more than 1 film!

Mutters something about Steel beams. Also some great choices on this one.. Love Man of Steel to bits, but if I'm gonna die, I'm gonna die historic on the Fury Road.

Ron Moses

Man of Steal is my favorite heist movie. #typojoke

QuiGon_Jim (Howe)

Mad Max is a true cinematic experience! What a film.

Kristopher Chavez

For the love of any and every God that may or may not exist watch Big Trouble. Screw the votes. You guys will have watched my for sure top 3 favorite movies if you do so.

Elisa H.

Pans the mummy...

Liesmith

Oh man, Fury Road is pure fire.

Sammy Rebbo

Big Trouble in Little China and Rush Hour 2 get my vote. I know a lot of people like the Mad Max though.

Torstein Skurve

"Man of steal" is the thrilling story of when Superman shoplifted a mars bar😅. Great movie though🤙

JayF

Mad Max is a non-stop thrill ride. Hoping it continues to lead the poll.

Marko T.

I voted Mad Max: Fury Road and Casino Royale. Both are great action movies. Fury Road is actually the fourth movie in the series but it can be watched without seeing the others.

Logan Kerlee

Surprised to see Man on Fire on the list. It got my vote. I love watching Man on Fire. The soundtrack for the film is unbelievably good! If/when they watch that as a reaction, I'm hoping that they both comment on it. :)

Thomas Malley

Fury road is a god damn masterpiece.

Haye Zeus

I’m so interested in watching and hearing George’s reaction to Big Trouble. It would be interesting. It might not win but I hope they get to do it soon

Next week's winner will be Pans The Critic? Yay for Demolition Man. Not one of the great movies, but enjoyable. Man of Steal? I love a good heist movie! Overall, I much preferred the lineup in the previous poll. Oh well, poor me.

Happy Hanukkah

"Pans The Mummy"? Surely it would be simpler to say "Penelope." /classics

David Crabtree

I'd love to see them watch Man of Steel and dive into the DCEU.

David

I would love to see Stargate, Tron & Tron Legacy in the next Scifi poll

Samuel Eng

Oh man Big Trouble In Little China was my childhood movie!

RogA

Let's go Big Trouble! I would love to see how they feel about it.

micah

MAD MAX!!!! one of the or the best action movies ever!!!

Jeff I.

Fury Road got my vote. Besides being really good overall, it's probably the most action filled movie of the group.

Marko T.

You should react to the Sean Connery Bond movies too. Dr. No is the first one. Goldfinger is probably the most popular one.

Alan Kobb

Hey, I'm all for action movies, but I also enjoy watching you two watch other genres. Besides, you don't want to run out of good action movies! Your reaction to Good Will Hunting is exactly the kind of thing that draws me to watching reactions! Someone else mentioned James Bond. I'd be really excited for you to try to tackle the entire James Bond series front to back or at least a good sampling of each Bond actor! That's action with class.

HeyHeyJK

Mad Max Fury Road is stunning, both in terms of cinematography and stunt work. Glad to see that's the leader in voting right now. You guys will be blown away.

Drew

Mad Max and Casino Royale being the two highest does my heart good.

Sean Novack

You guys haven't seen Big Trouble In Little China??? Whoa, that's shocking. The number of well-used pop culture references in that film is endless! How can you not need a Six-Demon Bag???

Drew Acheson

If you haven't seen Edge of Tomorrow that's a good one to add.

Natalie Hartsfield

Bad Words (Starring and directed by Jason Bateman)! It will not disappoint! :-)

Craig D

Virtuosity (1995)

Jon B

I'm mildly upset that not everyone likes the movie that I like dammit!

Andrew S

Office Space (1999) - comedy

JarHead0351

As a Mad Max fan, this one I did not like all that much - Man of Steel & Casino Royale are both good pick in my opinion which would open the rest in those series which are also good too

I also am curious to hear both of their opinions about Big Trouble In Little China, Simone because she's just awesome, but George's in particular because this movie was kind of controversial back in the day. I saw a reaction to this by someone on YT who is a Mandarin speaker, but she watched with a Cantonese speaking friend, who said they were pretty accurate, even "slangy". They liked it but also said they thought it was a little on the racist side, but then I saw that they later had one of the actors from the film on as a guest, so I don't know. The film had two, actually three, strikes against it when it was released. One, it was somewhat controversial, there were some complaints about negative stereotypes about Asian Americans. Two, and this was probably the biggest problem, the studio didn't know what to make of it, the film didn't easily fit into any category, it's obviously action, but also fantasy, kind of a western. They just flat out didn't get it, so they didn't put any money into promoting it. And three, because the studio didn't promote it, it sort of languished hardly noticed for about two weeks and then ALIENS came out in theaters. And as you'd think, Aliens was such a massive hit, Big Trouble was lost in the weeds and relegated to VHS and cable, which is where I found it about 10 years old. Loved it then, still do. Also, Fury Road is fuckin spectacular, love it, love ALL of the Mad Max movies, and Fury Road blew my expectations away for a great director capping off his masterpiece franchise, George Miller succeeded where Lucas and Coppola and Scott just came up a little short (imo).

MacGuffinStuff

Well said Githerax. No I can't imagine what would be offensive about Big Trouble (unless Carpenter and crew got the history just SO wrong and as a history nerd I can appreciate that lol), but I'm not Chinese so I'm just interested on George's take, I think he'll like it, think they both will, hope so. I'll be honest, I was a kid when I saw it, but I literally wanted to be Chinese after that movie, or a trucker, I accomplished the second lol, drove for about five years, never got into any adventures quite as interesting as Jack though.

Michael_AP

I would like to suggest a movie as a treat to Simone. Lethal Weapon (1987) Mel Gibson is butt naked. THAT will get her attention LOL Great bromance movie.. and the sequels are even better (in my opinion).

Spooky Dooky

May I please request the movie K-Pax. Kevin Spacey, Jeff Bridges and a bunch of other popular actors. This movie has the same feel is Forrest Gump.

James Quinn

Man of Steal 🤣 I must admit, it wasn’t my thing... everything blows up. If you like movies where everything blow’d up, that’s on yew. Snyderverse Superman isn’t even a hero. He defeated the aliens, BUT HIS AZZ BROUGHT THE MF’n ALIENS!!!! All that damage caused, the devastation- is all because of Superman. He couldn’t save his dad for the stupidest reason, and since the whole movie is “on steroids” the childhood bullying aspect was turned up to ELEVEN. Ok, we get it- bullying is bad, and comicbook nerds probably faced a lot of it growing up... but GOD! You don’t have to make young Clark into a wimp! It might have been better if he used his powers a little bit growing up but not enough to be totally unfair to the other kids. You can’t have part of him be the old goodie 2shoes from the past Superman, and the other part- naught. When Amy Adams gives Russel Crowe hologram “sexy eyes” I got sick and threw up a little in my mouth. What is this? Suckerpunch- Lois Lane is always horny. One of her first lines related to PENIS SIZES. She’s a size queen too. Oh! Later on, they turn Doomsday into Zod monster as a “surprise ending” with Wonder Woman shoehorned in... it all just sucks!!! Doomsday is NOT zod and was his own thing who killed Superman in an epic story arch in the early 90s. In the very next issue, he comes back to life in like five different incarnations. But that’s a whole other thing. Batman v Superman fights Zod again/ recycled. Woweeee! Lex Luthor isn’t lex luthor either. He somehow thinks he’s supposed to be The Joker. Did I say it sucks??? Btw, this isn’t spoiling ANYTHING, there are so many freakin’ Batmans and Supermans it no longer matters because it’s general knowledge and everyone should know them all already. Plus this post is almost two weeks old- most creators don’t look at these after 2 days!
