The Mandalorian Season 2: Episode 3 - 4 - Patreon Version

The rebellion pilot you asked about was not in any prior Star Wars material (he was 5 when Episode IV was released in theaters). Doing a quick google, he was on a show called Kim’s Convenience which Dave Filoni (one of the main Star Wars producers/writer/director mostly on the animated side but also Mandolorian) liked and he wanted the actor to have the role.

If you guys want to learn more about some of these new faces showing up, you should watch The Clone Wars.

Just finished the reaction. This show takes place 3-5 years after Return of the Jedi, so around 25 years before The Force Awakens.

FUN FACT! Bo-Katan first appeared in the Star Wars: The Clone Wars and is an important character in lots of key episodes. Katee Sackhoff not only does the voice on clone wars, but she actually plays her on the Mandalorian. In fact, lots of characters that come into the Mandalorian will be from Clone Wars. wars, but she actually plays her in the Mandalorian. The Clone Wars is worth a watch if you love star wars.

That actor Paul Sun-Hyung Less has also been cast as Uncle Iroh in the live action Avatar series from netflix.

The show is pulling things form old games and some novels that are not "canon" anymore. But with them pulling it into the show it is once again canon. Like the black armor suits you see at the end. You have nice theories on it, as always. In episode 3, the female Mandalorian, Bo-Katan, said he should seek out Ahsoka Tano. Both Characters are from the animated show "Star Wars: The Clone Wars" Its a show that i would like to see on a poll someday. There are 7 seasons, around 20 ish episodes each. Also the Actor for Bo-Katan in the Mandalorian, is the voice actress in the show. So it was very cool to see her take the real live role of that character.

These are 2 great episodes, very excited to watch this reaction later!

Not mid-season, but I'm pretty sure every new season of Power Rangers they just replace them all. This started when the original actors in season 1 demanded a pay raise, and Haim Saban responded by simply firing them all and replacing them rather than giving them more money.

mojo shivers

The Disney+ shows are supposed to be 5 years after Return of the Jedi. The Sequels are supposed to be like 25 years after Return of the Jedi I believe.

May be a bit late in posting this, but after episode 3, Simone noticed it was directed by Bryce Dallas Howard (Claire from the Jurassic World movies). Her father, Ron, whom you both could not remember, was not only Richie Cunningham in Happy Days back in the 70/80's (showing my age a bit here) but is also is a great director as proven by his work on Apollo 13 and Rush (worth a watch if you ever get the chance or if it wins a poll). For me, episodes 2 and 4 of The Mandalorian Season 2 were the weakest of the season which was a disappointment given how great 1 and 3 were. Episode 2 didn't really do much to further the overall plot and felt like a filler episode and 4 was just kind of 'meh'. It only gets better from here though. Can't wait to see how you guys like the rest of them

I see others have made them hip to the Clone Wars, I haven't seen all of the episodes but enough to get embarrassingly psyched for a grown man when I heard the name "Ahsoka Tano" lol I just found out I've been spelling her name wrong but I digress. Also, love Katie Sackhoff, probably some people didn't appreciate her turn as Starbuck in the Battlestar Galactica reboot, but I was all in on that show. Bears, beets, Battlestar Galactica...

Green Nolan

As some have already mentioned "Ashoka tano" and "bo katan" are major characters in the clone wars animated series. Would it be a spoiler to say who "Ashoka tano's" master is in "the clone wars" since they never mention it in "the mandalorian" and it's kind of implied that you should already know? I leave it to the other patrons to answer that

Florian Hoyer

"Ashoka tano" and "bo katan" are major characters

And the fact that if Simone and George watch the Clone Wars, they could easily do 4-5 episodes per video due to each episode being so short. :D

Sammy Rebbo

I feel Episode 3 is a very important episode, especially for people who haven't watch Clone Wars or Rebels. When you're watching The Mandalorian his clan is all about the whole not removing the helmet thing so reactors are always kinda shocked when other people wearing the armor take their helmets off. But in this episode it shows that maybe the whole "not taking your helmet off" might not be the normal thing they do. Clone Wars and Rebels really do quite a lot with Mandalorians. In Clone Wars Obi Wan is featured in a lot of the Mandalorian stuff while in Rebels one of the main characters is a Mandalorian artist.

Yes! Katee Sackoff in Battlestar Galactica! now that would be a good show to add to a POLL. SO SAY WE ALL!
