George... one thing that humanity has gotten really good at is dealing with predators. Vampires are extremely vulnerable hence why they hide in covens especially if there are hunters active.

Scott Pilgrim is safe from vampires apparently. A guy that pale... is pretty common in Canada though. I believe the vampires don't try to rule and be out in the open about it as it is a numbers game, even with being able to "reproduce" in their way. Hmm, they didn't say how pure blood vampires are made, maybe the old fashioned way?

There many Marvel vampire characters. Morbius is now in theaters but I heard its not very good. He is a villian of Spider-Man in comics.

"Blade 2" (2002) is better than the first, and directed by Guillermo Del Toro. He even designed the creatures that plagued the ominous plot. A must-see!

Oh boy...hadn't seen BLADE in decades. Was very excited when I saw you guys were watching this. It is so cool to rewatch a movie thru the eyes of someone who has not seen it. If I may make a critique, you seem to lose parts of the movie to segues talking about the logistics of the movie. Try going more for a suspension of disbelief or just overthinking things. First of all, it's a vampire movie and you want logic? And yeah I get it, the movie should be logical within the framework of the world in movie? I get your question of why would they want to kill all the humans...their food source. It would be much like us killing all the cows or pigs.

personally i think the blade series is seriously underrated and not given its proper due among the other movies set in the MCU. sure it was made way before they had the idea to make the MCU but there isnt a reason why they couldnt have incorporated it into the universe. (licensing and copy rights aside). i would have loved to see Blade alongside some of the other marvel heroes ! as a new patreon Im really enjoying your reactions. (after binging your youtube videos).

Also, are 'Interview with a Vampire' (1994) and 'What We Do in the Shadows' (2014) on your list, George? And re: garlic for vampires, someone came up with the theory that vampires spread the rumor that garlic scares them off, but actually garlic is an anti-coagulant, so vampires want humans to use it to thin their blood and make it easier to sip.

I'm going to have to see him preview but I don't think the blade remake is going to be that great. I just can't see mahershala Ali being anywhere near as bad ass as Wesley Snipes. He's not quite as built as Wesley was and he doesn't have the martial arts background.

Nope the new Blade is gunna be PG-13 because Marvel is too afraid to do anything different and want to stick to their usual formula, don't get me wrong I am a big fan of the MCU movies but they really need to not be afraid to do something new and gory, this series is very underrated and basically started the whole comic book movie craze and I don't think the new one if going to live up to these, but I could be wrong and we will have to see what happens.

Now is a great time to mention Stephen Dorf. He’s the actor who said superhero movies were very bad cinema during Black Widow release. He was credited as a BLADE ‘star.’ But he’s a real life Cecil B Demented guy to me. True to life (now). Y’all should check out that weird John Waters movie. “Power to the people who PUNISH bad cinema!” (As he shoots a Honey Whitlock movie poster- Some Kind of Happiness).

Disney did say "Deadpool 3" will be rated R. They didn't want to screw up the formula and fanbase. Maybe they will do the same with Blade? It won't release under the "Disney" name, for sure. They will probably just use the "Marvel Studios" logo.

Blade is fun, a solid 3 star movie. But Blade II is the high point of the trilogy AND it's directed by Guillermo del Toro. The third Blade is a piece of crap, though. Oh btw, the awesome song playing in the japanese vampire club is not on the official soundtrack and not listed in the end credits. It's Chin Chin by Bang Wa Cherry.

I think if you watch Daybreakers with Ethan Hawke it might indicate what would happen if the vampires had taken over.

most vampire and werewolf weaknesses are the same due to the diseases/ curses being related in origin in most mythologies.
