Just watching this now… the hardest thing about this is that the entire appeals process probably took forever if anything. He prob sat in jail for years as he waited for a judge sympathetic to his case.

Ariel Sims

I know this is wicked late... I would also rec Double Jeopardy based on your reaction to this!

One of the better movies of the same year that brought us Schindler’s List, Jurassic Park, and In the Name of the Father. 1993 was great for film lovers. Tommy Lee Jones was super memorable in this and matched Harrison Ford scene for scene. I just remember thinking that there’s a good chance that he would get his man super fast. He was based off the the Javert character in Les Miserables, who also never gave up chasing after his target.

Anthony Perez

U.S. Marshal would take precedence in this case due to Kimble being an escapee. Tommy Lee Jones telling Kimble "I don't care" was great...he is just doing his job not judging. IMO Marshals are usually very professional.

Erwin Quiachon

Another really well written action/detective film like this is "Spartan". If you haven't already seen it, it was written and directed by the Pulitizer Prize winning writer, David Mamet. It's an over the top moral commentary on U.S. politicians and the military. It's also fun to see Val Kilmer in the lead as a Harrison Ford/Tommy Lee Jones type of character when he was still healthy, before people started to make fun of the way he looks for having cancer.

Anthony Perez

FYI...Simone wants a buddy escape movie ? The Defiant Ones is a 1958 American adventure drama film which tells the story of two escaped prisoners, one white and one black, who are shackled together and who must co-operate in order to survive. It stars Tony Curtis and Sidney Poitier.

Yeah, to answer the question what they do, in terms of purpose, the US Marshals are basically the law enforcement branch of the courts. So they protect judges and other judicial employees, run the Witness Protection program for informants in big cases, and, of course, go after escaped prisoners.

Jean-Dominic Lapointe

Know that you’ve seen this one, you need to see “Wrongfully Accused”, its parody with Leslie Nielsen

Patrick Evans

There is a sequel called US Marshals which stars Tommy Lee Jones reprising his role from this movie.

Mike Dispo

I love that this was nominated for Best Picture alongside Schindler's List.

Rob Parry

One of my favorite movies from the 90's . You mentioned wanting to see more like this. A few to check out would be Witness from 1985 and Presumed Innocent 1990 both staring Harrison Ford. and The Usual Suspects 1995

Michael_AP

I'm so glad you two decided to do this movie.... and that you loved it :) I was afraid it would continue to loose polls to "men behaving immature"-movies. sorry LOL Tommy Lee Jones plays roles as the Marshal so masterly and has the perfect face for it. He's role brings so much to this movie. George: You said you wanted a movie where a kid on a rooftop disoverces a hero/villan/... Check out Hellboy (2004) I bet Simone will be going: Hey that's the guy from the Beauty and the Beast TV-series :)

Craig Rhymer

People on the run disguising themselves ... The Jackal (1997)

Stretch

Where did you get that middle earth map behind you George? really wanna buy one like it!

Spooky Dooky

Aloha team! Another great reaction and another great film. My suggestion for another film just like this one is the 1998 film Enemy of the State with Will Smith. I know he's not our favorite guy right now, but the movie is awesome.

Spooky Dooky

My personal request is to please consider the film K-Pax with Kevin Spacey. It's got a weird name so people avoid it, but it's a great movie,

The Fugitive was originally a very popular TV series from the mid-1960’s. This movie is a adaptation/reboot of that. It’s also been brought back as a TV series a few times. The tagline on the cover wasn’t really spoiler-ish at the time because The original TV series was still common knowledge at the time due to reruns.

Ed Stephens

There's more Julianne Moore in An Ideal Husband. Importance of Being Earnest 2002 is another Oscar Wilde adaptation worth watching

Foodassassin4life

Please watch U.S. Marshalls with Tommy Lee Jones playing the same character. It also has Wesley Snipes and Robert Downey Jr.

Adam Wetstein

They asked the original actor David Jansen how he thought the series The fugitive should end. And he said:” long shot of Kimble on a beach alone , he unscrews his left arm and throws it into the ocean” I thought of Simone when she said. Maybe he did it

Githerax

And "bad guy" Jeroen Krabbe is in it too, and it'd be Simone's new favorite movie if she hasn't seen it before, add it to the list please!

Tx28

Guys, can I recommend you to watch Pride and Prejudice (2005)? I promise you would ADORE this movie, in it would add 'new colours' to your already varied and awesome channel :D

Rezblade

Is Marshall’s the top of the food then secret service, they also are undercover on flights, the fugitive based on a true story , “ the jackal with Bruce Willis and In the line of Fire “

James Whalen

It has begun, now you need to see US Marshalls which has Wesley Snipes which you guys said you wanted to see another movie of.

Fabian Kracik

enemy of the state with will smith should be on poll the next time

Dave Gaskin

New Patron here - hi! So glad to see you guys appreciating this film. It’s everything I love about early/mid 90s action thrillers. It’s already been mentioned but In the Line of Fire is fantastic too. Came out the same year and is really suspenseful!

Dan Lo

Why is nobody asking Simone where she got that prosthetic arm?? Is she like Rocket Raccoon… randomly stealing people’s fake limbs and eyes just for sh$&s & giggles! 😆

Githerax

George gave it to her. He works with AI, so I assume it's from a robot he's building in his garage.

lorenzo

You guys should watch US Marshal. Its basically a sequel to this movie. It has the same Tommy Lee Jones team, and a new mystery to solve.

droodly

Boo George! I'm now doubting your scrubs creds! There was an episode that totally acknowledged janitors role in this movie!
