QuiGon_Jim (Howe)

Zootopia and Finding Nemo are easily the best on this list, by far.

nossieboy

I really need to see Coco.... I know, I know and I really can't wait to see it.

Nathan Jasper

You guys should poll the Studio Ghibli films. Princess Mononoke, Totoro, Porco Rosso, Ponyo, Only Yesterday, Grave of the Fireflies...and all the others!

Torsten Maekler

Oh, cool. I wished for more animated movies... now, which one to pick? There are so many good ones to choose from...

Onno Smits

I'm hoping for Coco, but I'll take Big Hero 6. Zootopia is just not that fun to rewatch, imho.

Deserana12

Some good choices but it’s a crime to not have Into the Spiderverse on this list!

David Noone

I’d highly recommend “The Triplets Of Belleville” for the next animated poll

Chago_kiba_Lee

Please watch coco it truly is a good representation of Mexican culture

Maxwell Long

Finding Nemo is probably the one to go with, but my gf's favorite animated film of all time is Big Hero 6 so.. that's worth considering. It's genuinely quality.

JayF

I went with Zootopia as it's the best one on the list that both of you haven't seen.

Marko T.

I think I've seen Finding Nemo years ago but don't remember much about it. I should watch more newer animated movies. I did watch Soul and it was great. I hope you include The Iron Giant and Wallace & Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit next time. :)

Professor00

Have you thought about doing Anime as well at some point? Not Studio Ghibli films but others like Akira, A Silent Voice, Your Name, Weathering With You, Wolf Children, Mirai, Belle, The Girl Who Leapt Through Time, etc.

JarHead0351

Dang it , I like them all except Fing Nemo. Shame you did not list Moana, which is a fun and cool movie

Dooly

Did it have to be Disney only? Aside from Despicable Me, it’s all Disney.

EMB

As far as animation goes, nothing has had an impact on me as much as Grave of the Fireflies. From this list my choice is Zootopia, there are other ones I like, but I tend to like more serious and sometimes sad films. I'd say the allegory in Zootopia is the closest I'll get.

michael clarke

is there any way for us to add a movie into polls?

Rory cornetto

Never saw despicable me… seamed too close to megamind… and I love megamind

Rory cornetto

I guess I’ll vote for the only one of these I’ve seen

Stewart Denew

For something more obscure, i'd also like to suggest When the Wind Blows. Fair warning, it's not the happiest film around.

Grandmaster B

how about something a little less Disney like Wes Anderson's Fantastic Mr Fox.

David Crabtree

Of this bunch, I'd go for Tangled or Brave. Would have liked to see some 2D animated films mixed in on the poll. Future recommendation: Transformers: The Movie (1986 animated classic), Secret of N.I.H.M., Batman: Mask of the Phantasm, Prince of Egypt.

Chris Davies

In my opinion this is a list of fairly mediocre, though not terrible, animated movies. If you do another poll in future, I recommend adding some of the greats, one or more of: Flight of Dragons (1982), the last unicorn (1982), The Secret of Nimh(1982), Transformers the Movie (1986)(this is the darkest kids cartoon movie I have ever seen, and the animation for its time was unbelievably good), Antz (1998), Titan AE (2000)

Tyler Foster

Some other non-Disney animated movies that would be cool (I know Ghibli is a copyright stickler so I didn't suggest any of their films, but for all I know some of these could be tough too): The Thief and the Cobbler [Recobbled Cut Mark 4] - this is a legendary animated movie by the man who supervised the animation for Roger Rabbit, Richard Williams. He was a major figure in the animation world and this was his passion project. Unfortunately, he was near the end of a lengthy production process when a bond company took over the movie and fired him. It was eventually released in a butchered version that added voice-over and songs and was marketed as a rip-off of Disney's Aladdin, when Aladdin was the movie that stole from it. A fan restored it to close to what it would've been in its original form (there are parts that were never completed) and it's an incredible feat of hand-drawn animation. Mary & Max - a dark but funny claymation movie about an unlikely friendship from Australia It's Such a Beautiful Day or The World of Tomorrow trilogy - strange, dark, funny, surreal masterpieces by Don Hertzfeldt, who is most famous for Rejected, the Oscar-nominated "My spoon is too big" cartoon. American Pop - This would pose some music issues, but this would probably be the least tricky film by Ralph Bakshi otherwise (his other movies are X-rated or off-putting in extreme ways). A really cool musical/historical journey. A Scanner Darkly - a rotoscoped "animated" movie starring Keanu Reeves, Winona Ryder, and Robert Downey Jr., based on a book by Philip K. Dick, who wrote the book Blade Runner was based on. Millennium Actress - similar to American Pop but about a Japanese movie star and her journey working for a film studio, as well as a romance. Not Ghibli, but it is an anime, so maybe it would have to be Patreon only. Chicken Run - Five people eventually registered their dissent, but for a good section of its original release, it was one of the few wide-release films to get a 100% on Rotten Tomatoes. A sequel is coming to Netflix within the next year, so it might be good timing as well. Fantastic Mr. Fox - probably the least-obscure on the list. A great Wes Anderson movie. Don't think you've done any Anderson on the channel yet but this is one of his best films. I also agree with David Noone's suggestion of The Triplets of Belleville.

Eldarth

How To Train Your Dragon? Megamind? Shrek? The LEGO Movie? Lilo & Stitch? Monsters, Inc.? Ratatouille? The Incredibles?

Gary Trousdale

Wallace and Gromit: the Curse of the Wererabbit

Andrew Roach

My favorite animated film is How To Train Your Dragon.

Joits

Finding Nemo is easily the best movie on this list.

Adam Amaya

Please god if you guys haven’t seen any Studio Ghibli movies check them out lol Spirited Away is a great place to start! 😁 there’s a bunch more on hbomax

Chris Lüders

I would highly recommend 'The Jungle Book' (1967) 😊🐱‍👤🦧🐻🐯🐍 🐘 (<- Cast) 😁

Lemons

Are we allowed to suggest movies outside of the polls in these comment sections?

michael mccafferty

I am not sure how to do this and still be a good subscriber, so I am going to start (repeatedly) recommending the 1973 film "The Three Musketeers" by Alexander and Ilya Salkind. It is IMO one of the best action-comedies made in the seventies and I think the two of you would really enjoy the film. I apologize for high-jacking this thread, but I am more than confident that you will enjoy the heck out of this film.

michael mccafferty

BTW, I am happy to monetarily sponsor "The Three Musketeers." If your business model supports pay-for-play, ping me via Patreon email.

Johann Du Toit

No love for Tangled? Must be one of Disney's most underrated movies!

Michael Short

In the next poll, can I suggest Dune (2021)? :)

Bryce Lamkin

I hope to see "treasure Planet" on a poll soon, very under rated movie

Blacky

Honestly you could just roll a die for this poll. All of these are pretty good, fun, and good react material :) As for a different suggestion: Dogma It's a slightly older movie, but a very good comedy with lots of smarts behind it, and not known as much as it should.

Dakota

In belated honor of Bruce Willis, I would recommend Hudson Hawk. It is a fairly obscure movie, but so much fun to watch.

Kelly Pickard

Off-topic, but have either of you seen "Interview with the Vampire"? I feel like that'd be a great reaction for a classic movie.

Torsten Maekler

Was wondering if you strictly only watch films which at least one of you hasn't seen set, or if you would do reactions to films which both of you have already seen? The idea is that movies you both know will probably be very well-known movies, which are also often found on YouTube. So you could boost the channel with that. A watch-along of the Lord of the Rings or the Avenger movies is what I'm thinking of.

Liam Nissan

Considering the fact that you've gone through a fair few Tarantino movies at this point i'd love to watch Kill Bill 1 and 2 with you, just FYI..

Einherj

I'm suggesting a comedy from 2014 called "What We Do in the Shadows".

Sebastian

I would love to see Megamind instead of Despicable Me in that list. Unfortunately, the later one got way more attention. Megamind should have been in the spotlight back then. The humor should be right up your alley, George.

Voodoo

Told ya I'd join... oh also all those movies suck lol (for animated I Def wanna see ya watch The Dark Knight Returns, but happy to be here n supportin ya guys

Vert

ARCANE

Michael Gryphon

I voted for Coco because I wanna see your reaction to the ending!
