Definitely recommend free guy!

wtf...everything is blurred

Cinebinge

Hi Patrick, as written in the description of each tier which is available before joining, all patrons must have their own copy of the movie/film for the full length version as legally we are not allowed to just show the whole movie. That would be a deliberate act of piracy and illegal distribution which is why we include a countdown sync point in each video for your own copy. Please refer to the tier descriptions for further clarifications. Thank you.

To be fair, there's a great many things Rob Liefeld is bad at drawing, but yet he never hesitates to draw them anyway. But he goes out of his way to avoid drawing feet.

Luck IS such a weirdo superpower. Like, what exactly has to happen in order for a gun to fall in just the right place for Juggernaut to slip on it? If it's some quantum telekinesis whatsit moving the thing without appearing to break the laws of physics, or shuffling through parallel realities or whatever, that's one thing, but how does the power decide to do that? It's acting without any thought or intention on Domino's part, she just sees the result and goes "I'm so lucky." The power must somehow be able to determine what is in Domino's interests to set events in motion in her "favor." Unless we're going to just call this power God I would hesitate to ascribe to it a will of its own or an independent consciousness, so what's it doing? Computing probabilities with a personal bias? That might be possible with some kind of cosmic power of math. On one side we've got Phoenix exploding entire planets, and then we've got Domino making a car crash in just the right way.

They are watching the Super Dooper cut guys. Like I said in my last post, for those who own it on Vudu check your special features!

Foodassassin4life

The only version of this movie I could find is on Prime video and it has both the theatrical version and then the sooper dooper cut combined

Martin Nicholls

Yep, George being high on crack is now part of the lore :) I dunno about the Sooper Dooper cut - it's fine for more jokes if you've seen the original but really the first time should watch the thetrical cut. The sooper dooper changes the meaning of most of the scenes and entirely replaces almost all the music including the MTV Unplugged 'Take On Me' which frankly _makes_ the movie. It's still good, but it isn't _as good_ as the theatrical minus the extra jokes (and the longer end credits scenes). Also how nice is it to have an original movie theme - the industry completely wore that out but then to have it here was so refreshing (and it's a good one too). Also there was supposed to be an X-Force movie before the next Deadpool then the next Deadpool dissapeared and now it looks like the X-Force movie isn't going to happen but we get another Deadpool movie.

Jake Petersen

The show playing in the background when he goes to visit the blind lady is a real show. It is an old radio show from the 1940's called the Jack Benny Show. Jack Benny was an old vaudeville comedian that transitioned to radio then later to TV and movies as they became popular.

AC10

Whoo Hoo!! Morning coffee and movie time at the same time! What could be better?

Chris Davies

I feel this is a good time to suggest adding the x-men animated series from 1992 to one of your tv series polls. It has the best portrayals of the x-men and many of their stories, better than most of the movies, it will explain more about the juggernaut in its first season.

Senec

Thats the one I ended up getting. No regerts. I liked the extra scenes they sprinkled into the movie, made it feel more fleshed out.

Torsten Maekler

If you want to start into Jean-Claude van Damme movies (you should at some point) there is one with him called "JCVD". It's from 2008 and is kind of a self reflection on him and his movie roles. He plays himself in real life and gets into a tense situation where he struggles with him being a muscle man superstar and being a regular person. Very entertaining so see his struggle to decide how he should cope with this.

There is a Deadpool 3 coming in the MCU pipeline but it’s a few years away. And from my memory so someone correct anything I get wrong: in the comics, the Juggernaut is Prof. X’s step brother. He’s not a mutant, his power came from a mystical gem (Ruby of Cytorrak) and yes the helmet is to stop Xavier (or any other telepath) from stopping him since physical threats are few and far between for him.

Torstein Skurve

This title sequence reminded me that we still have some James Bondage to do!

The Inedible Mattman!

as far as I remember, that is the lore. However, lots of retcons have gone on in the last few years with regards to who is a mutant and who isn't, so it's always possible juggernaut has been upgraded to full mutant status. But yes, he did originally get his power from the Ruby of Cytorrak.

dudist Priest

The "guy who can't draw feet" comment was a joke about Deadpool creator Rob Liefeld who, it's often joked, can't draw feet.

Ian Forbes

Oh, for sure. The Fox movies weren’t too worried about comic book accuracy and the MCU has changed many things to fit their cinematic narrative as well. I was just giving the comic origin. I’ll be interested to see if he ever does come to the MCU what they do with his family history and power origins … but chances are that’s something we won’t see for at least 4 years … I doubt he’s gonna be introduced until at least phase 7 seeing as there is a whole lot to unpack before we get there.

Logan Kerlee

Had a ton of fun watching this with you both! I really wish that Disney Plus offered this version! lol, that would've made it far easier to watch for many. So many laughs throughout! xD Such a fun movie. Thanks for reacting to it! :)

If you haven't seen The Goonies, read no further. In Deadpool 2, there's a scene where Deadpool says to Cable, "give me your best shot, One-Eyed Willie." That was a reference to the pirate, One-Eyed Willie, from The Goonies, in which Josh Brolin played the older brother, Brand. Since there was no reaction to that line, I thought I'd mention it. Now that I let the movie and reaction finish, I noticed at the end when Deadpool is working up the courage to off baby Hitler, he says, "this is crazy, this is crazy, this is crazy." This line is a nod to Chevy Chase's character in National Lampoon's Vacation, in the scene where Chevy Chase is working up the courage to jump into a hotel pool with another woman. Both Deadpool and Chevy Chases do this extended arm-clapping thing. One of the more subtle references I think.

Nate Terry

Yeah, the Juggernaut is invulnerable. Only psychic powers affect him. He won't die from that electrocution in the swimming pool, just slow him up til he figures out how to get free. Juggernaut is one of my favorite characters in Marvel. I grew up watching the 90's animated show...he was such a sassy character is was funny. They did him good in this movie

PickettsChargingPort

crap. You watched the 'super duper' release which is, at least IMHO, vastly inferior to the theatrical release

Middy

Vastly seems like an overreaction. It's essentially just 13 minutes of extra content and like, two cut lines.

James Lawson

Changes some of the music, the epic CGI fight with Colossus and Juggernaut stops being so epic in this cut :(

james repka

You know how old this makes me feel that the great Jack Benny has to be explained to people as if he was from the 19th century. (what? he was born in 1894 and died 48 years ago?) Never mind, I am old.
