I've seen so many reaction vids to this that gloss over the dream monologue at the end. I am so glad you left it in and I love that it bought Simone to tears. It does to me each and every time, and I've seen this movie like 50 times. That scene is the whole crux of the movie. The more you watch it, the more you will take from it. It's a masterpiece.

When Woody Harrelson says he counted the floors of the building and theres one missing, atleast in the USA the number 13 is unlucky so buildings skip 13 in elevators and use 12A or go right to 14.

If you would like to watch more movies with this tone then watch Hell or High Water (2016) and then Wind River (2017). Both are amazing and feel timeless, brutal, and hauntingly human. Fantastic casting as well. Enjoy!

The final act focusing on Tommy Lee Jones ties the film together so beautifully and takes a lot from the Cormac McCarthy novel. Tommy Lee thinks the world is changing and he can't cope anymore. In reality, the world is the way it's always been and it's him who has changed. A tense, exciting chase movie with profound meaning at it's heart.

And if this movie puts you in the mood for a western I have to recommend Open Range (2003).

This script is the first one the Coens adapated from a novel, and it's a really faithful adaptation. The whole off-screen death of Llewelyn really does throw out the usual expectation most of us had of a showdown between him and Chigurh, but it's the same way in the book. This is probably my favorite film of all time, knocking "Dr. Strangelove" out of the top spot it held for a really long time. The decision to have no score in it just amplified so much of the tension. Also, did you notice that the man in the office who hired Woody was Stephen Root, who played Milton in "Office Space" and Gordon in "Dodgeball". One of our great character actors and I still SO wish you would react to him in the series "Barry" with Bill Hader. Such an amazing show and very dark comedy.

such a fantastic film - for me, Anton is up there with Darth Vader, The Terminator, Hans Gruber and Thanos as the all time great screen villians

Some buildings historically were built "without" a 13th floor because of superstition. In reality they just skip the number 13 and call the 13th floor the 14th. Thats why woody harrelson counted one less floor.

Dooly

It’s like how in Asian countries, China in particular, there isn’t a 4th floor.

You guys should watch one of the Coen brothers less "serious" films. Burn after Reading and Hail Caesar are both excellent and a ton of fun.

Ziggy

What movies have they seen since they know all the actors but never seen their most prominent work? LMAO

Adam Wetstein

it is famous because the bad guys wins. and yes the haircut was intentional

Jobbe Smit

Unless it's a Trump property, then they skip up to nine floors to sound taller.

Grandmaster B

Awesome job with one of my favorite films. Javier Bardem is also a great character in the third Daniel Craig Bond movie Skyfall.

this movie is insane. cant wait to see your reaction.

on myth busters they did a lot with cars to see if they could blow them up. they dont explode, they do go "whoosh". like a car can be consumed in flames within a second, but its not really an explosion.

its cool how George considered early on that he might represent death. thats my interpretation. thats why he doesnt get any justice. this isnt a morality tale. the only glimmer of hope is tommy lee jones giving that dialogue about his dream in the end. its supposed to hint towards a life after death. maybe its just a dream, but thats the only comfort the film offers. consider doing 'american psycho'. theres a few graphic scenes, but not as intense as this movie, but still worth a look since its a decent portrayal of a psychopath.
