Loved the reaction, I dont quite understand how you tell (for yourself) if a movie does well or not for ur channel, Pirates and Transformers for example did really well when it comes to views on YT and yet you still took ages between the pirate movies and you didnt continue with transformers at all.

Divinerights

I know this is very late. But I believe you are right Simone, that they do become smarter as every generation passes. Also, the flu is supposed to be super viral so it would reach wild apes. But from that, I wonder how those societies exist because they are not led by Caesar's philosophies of "ape not kill ape" especially those not living in any form of captivity and prolonged human contact.

Joe Mallard

Hell yeah, been patiently waiting for this one since the Rise reaction!

Deserana12

I’m so happy you’re finally reacting to this! Had a very rough few days so this will be a nice needed cheer up!

Jared Spotted Eagle

Nice! I was just thinking about the first one and was hoping to see a second one soon. I freaking love these movies. Can't wait to see what you think.

Martin

Cool. I know George and Simone really enjoyed the first one, so I figured it was only a matter of time before they completed the trilogy.

"Patrons, we've talked about our busy schedule lately and we've teased about the surprise that's coming up. It's actually a video called 'We got high and watched 10hrs of paint drying...'"

Garrett Mazzuca

Really excited for this one. I feel like this trilogy isn't talked about enough

Odd Thomas

Yay! Dawn and War are way better than the first one. I'm pretty sure they'll perform better on Youtube too as they are much more popular films

Raven Dark

I like this one slightly better than the first, but I think that's nothing to do with the quality of either movie. Both are great, but I like post-apocolyptic stories just a little bit more. I can't understand why these movies didn't do better on your channel, because they are masterclasses in storytelling. Gorilla warfare, haha, good one George. But I couldn't help imagining that such a comment to the apes would be seen as racist. LOL I see one of them like Coba thinking your implying they are all the same. Like, "Not all apes gorillas!" LMAO This is my favorite type of story--conflict driven by racial differences and the two races have to figure out how to coexist. Just so cool. Hope you'll react to the third one soon. I don't know if I've seen it yet, but I'm off to watch it now. This reaction was fantastic, you two. Awesome job.

ChickensAreRacist

Would love to see you two react to the next one asap. Will do my part by rewatching your reaction. This is one of many movies I have and can watch many times.

Odd Thomas

Tim Burton did an Apes movie. We...we don't talk about it.

George “I don’t know why I keep making fun of him, I love James Franco!” Simone makes face I think Simone knows the deal with Franco.

Florian Geyer

I dont know how it would perfrom, but would you like to watch the 1968 Planet of the ape movies? Especially the first one is verry nice.

REDR58

It should have been watched first. I don't understand why anyone would watch these without watching at least the original POTA beforehand.

Logan Kerlee

Seriously enjoyed watching this along with the both ya. I've watched this movie a number of times, first time was in theaters. I've watched all of the Apes movies in theaters, from 2001 back. I'm looking forward to watching the next one if/when ya'll decide to anger the YouTube overlords again. :P

James O'Sullivan

10 hours of paint drying? No one tell the YouTube watchers. April Fools reaction right there :D

Logan Nelson

I do have to say i really love the originals, but these weren't too terrible.. 70's SciFi just had a certain feel to it...

Joe D. MacGuffinstuff

Raccoons. Planet of the Raccoons, they're already on track for an evolutionary leap, especially the city raccoons apparently. I once saw a raccoon in my neighborhood about as big as a husky dwarf, no shit, not gonna lie I was slightly intimidated, I let him finish raiding my neighbor's trash, didn't like that guy anyway.

DinChild

Nothing like a good ole' fashion George Carlin joke.

droodly

"weren't too terrible..." uh huh. Nostalgia for the old stuff aside, these are better than not too terrible. The new ones are prequels aren't they? Can't you keep your appreciation for the old, and respect the new at the same time?

Chase Schleich

I can't believe the first film under performed on YouTube. It's an awesome trilogy. I hope this one does better so we don't have to wait as long for the last film. I really want to watch it again now, but I'm making myself wait until you guys react to it.

Antwan V

Such an amazing trilogy! So happy you guys watched this one! Can’t believe the first one didn’t do well on YouTube 🤦🏽‍♂️🤦🏽‍♂️🤦🏽‍♂️ Like, get some culture you swines! lol
