Oh wow what a welcomed surprise lol I know this is an over the top ridiculous "comedy" but maria baklova's acting is really great in this film hence she's been or is going to be in a handful of projects that have happened already or are going to happen

maria baklova (borats daughter) was so good in bodies bodies bodies, it’s one of her only other roles out right now and is a very fun watch! (i already mentioned it in the youtube comments but thought i’d say it here too lol😭)

Glad to see you guys embrace Sasha Baron Cohen’s work. He’s a comedic satire genius. Looks like you’ve got plans on watching Bruno already-great choice. I would also implore you to check out The Dictator. One of the most underrated comedies of the last few years.

I think it's a good decision to just let the credits run (on mute) at the end. You should do that every time I think. You have a post movie discussion anyway so why stop the movie when the credits start. :)

Maria Bakalova was definitely the star of the film. She is hilarious. I hope to see her in more stuff. I totally get why some real people just go along with it. I've been in awkward situations where I went along with it, because I didn't want to hurt the person's feelings or because I felt it would be over faster if I agreed and played along.

You know what’s kinda fun? If you slow the reaction down to 3/4 time it’s like you are hanging out with some buzzed/drunk friends and everybody is having a good time…… I miss those days

That was awesome! Don't know why I hadn't watched this until now, but I do remember the controversy over Giuliani, was he was shifting his boner? Yeah I have some family members and now former acquaintances who were all in on that QA stuff, nice people but super gullible, some of the stuff they believed was completely bonkers, including things about Tom Hanks lol. And so ironic because as far as I can tell, through my own research 😆, that whole "adrenochrome" conspiracy was based on something Hunter Thompson made up in "Fear And Loathing In Las Vegas", it made it into the movie too (btw, I recommend, and "12 Monkeys", both Terry Gilliam directed; one of my favorite directors, and he was the animator and only non Brit in the Monty Python troupe).

Wow.. I'm really glad that I chose to not watch this until now. Amazing movie! Holy crap, it was great. Loads of laughs, plenty of shocking moments and that woman that was spoken about at the very end.. that bit really hit me in the feels. Thank you both for reacting to this!

Ha, that'd be a pretty fun reaction, though I'd personally suggest they just start with the second one (Jackass Number Two), since they had much bigger budget there than on the first one and were able to do way cooler/crazier stuff. The first one feels like an uncensored, long episode of the TV show, whereas the second one feels like an actual movie production.

Hello Cinebinge, I'm sure you have possibly been told or found out about some of these things already, but here goes. After the first Borat film the American ambassador from Kazakhstan had a press conference in Washington declaiming the film and stating it had nothing to do with Kazakhstan the country. Unfortunately Sasha BC found out about it and put on a conference at the same time nearby, stating the Kazakhstan conference was fake and Sasha in character was from the real Kazakhstan. In the second movie, the two men Borat was in lockdown with he stayed with for an extended period (more footage was released in a miniseries) and when he performed as Cowboy Steve and found his daughter, the crowd eventually realised he was joking and taking the piss and they apparently had to flee from violence and people brandishing guns. Thought you might be interested.

I feel like I have so much to say lol. You'll probably never see this. Lost in a sea of your subscribers. I have only seen this movie once so rewatching it with you two, there were a lot I didn't remember, It felt like at times I was watching this for the first time lol. I think we all loved Maria Bakalova's character Tutar. The first time they show her, tied up, already I was liking her character. When Borat was leaving to US&A lol, I was hoping she go with him and we see more of her. Then, she came out of the crate lol. BY THE WAY, I just heard the other day that this movie is being used in a case against Rudy Giuliani. Especially the scene with Tutar at the end. Giuliani such a creep. Maria Bakalova is the voice of Cosmo the dog in Guardians of The Galaxy Holiday Special and Vol 3. I found this more funny than the first one.

A bit late to the party but haven't seen this movie until now. Borat and Bruno are great too. Probably an unpopular thought but Giuliani was a divorced man at the time, the scamdemic was going on and a hot woman in her 20s was flirting with and kind of hitting on him. SHE suggested "shall we have a drink in the bedroom". Not him. Why on earth does a woman "reporter" suggest that??? Instead of "thank you for the interview have a great day," and leaving the premises. I don't blame him at all for his actions/reaction to her words/actions, taking into account the time it took place. Lockdown and depression time. If a hot young woman suggests a drink in the bedroom, 98% of straight men will follow her into the bedroom. George included. ;-)
