It's Georges turn to take a break and go on a vacation! So we're doing an other big movie poll! The top 3 winners of this poll will be counted as if its the winners of the next 3 polls. Movies will continue to be uploaded and released as usual without interruption. The 3 movies will be released on the February 4th, February 11th and February 18th. With this upcoming Saturday the 28th being last weeks winner, which will be determined with a coin flip later when we film. The loser of the coin flip will be added to the schedule for a later date, likely around February 16th.

Polls will return on February 20th, 2023.

Had to choose all but 2 options. Good poll!

Jon Johns

Travel safe George! Have fun! This is a great list, btw! Excited for whatever wins!!

Jon Johns

Wizard of Oz prob won't win, but it would be cool to see George's interpretation of this classic 'american' tale thru his objective eyes!!

J.R.

whiplash whiplash whiplash.

streaky

Mandela Effect: I thought you'd already done Death of Stalin, but yes, that.

TD

Have a great vacation George! Simone, can you add Super Troopers to a poll sometime?

Marko T.

Death of Stalin is great. I have to suggest Batman (1989) again. :)

Dave Atcha

We just passed the date of one of the events shown in Children Of Men! This is the way.

Sam

I really hope Harold and Kumar get into the top 3, I cant believe George has never seen it before, its such a classic.

Olli

Love to see Children of Men on the list. Artsy/Strange movies for a future poll: Eraserhead (1977) - Non-horror body-horror by David Lynch. Being John Malkovich (1999) - John Malkovich plays John Malkovich. Enter the Void (2009) - Acid trip. Birdman (2014) - Actors are nuts. The Lobster (2015) - Finding love. The Favourite (2018) - Olivia Colman as Queen Anne. Royals are nuts. Annihilation (2018) - Scifi weirdness with Natalie Portman.

Jonathan

I imagine Hero is too niche to win a poll like this, but I love the use of color in that film. Very cool.

Neato Rodriguez

I think Hero is the only movie I watched and as soon as it was over I watched it again. The artistic imagery in the movie is on another level.

Mati D.

Whiplash is so goddamn good.

bietz

Children of Men is by far the best film on this list.

FranciscoGios

Children of Men family here's our chance!!

Austin Working

Children of Men is so good but so heavy! I keep hearing Death of Stalin is hilarious, I haven't seen it though, and I keep waiting to watch it in case it wins one of these polls lol

Astraeos

Come on people, Death of Stalin and Children of Men HAVE to win. Like seriously people

Mike Adams

Man I wish Hero would get more love lol

Bruce Bromley

American Psycho I'd a must. You'll see the role that IMO nailed the role of Batman for Christian Bale.

Brendan Rafferty

Children of Men is amazing... incredible story... and, since you are lovers of cinema and style, you should pay attention... Children of Men has two of the greatest and most elaborate single-take tracking shots ever filmed

Jeff K.

For some reason part of me is kinda shocked that George in particular has never seen Harold and Kumar. Also, I voted for Children of Men and Harold and Kumar because you could not have two movies that, while both enjoyable (and Children of Men is legitimately a great film), are more polar opposites. It makes me laugh to think of them watching them back to back, but then again, Harold and Kumar is a pretty nice goofy palate cleanser after how heavy Children of Men is.

John

When you watched JoJo Rabbit, Simone mentioned that she would watch a whole movie with just Yorki (played by Archie Yates) in it because she thought he was so cute. They actually made that movie. It's called Home Sweet Home Alone. Are you going to watch it?

Tinfoilnation

Halloween should be reserved for, you know - Halloween!

Spacedone

Definitely 'Children of Men' for me. Top 5 film of all time. And 'Death of Stalin' is so much funnier than the name suggests.

Elliot

Hero isn't gonna get voted for but I do hope you find a place to squeeze it in eventually.

stewystewartson

You guys have to do Unforgiven-1992 at some point

Martin

Whiplash and Children of Men, please.

Jay

Do we know what show they're watching when season 2 of The Wire is finished? They continuing The Expanse or trying something else?

UNC

LETS GO HAROLD AND KUMAR! NEED SOME LAUGHS!

G0R0_!ch!B@n25

So far the winners look to be Children of Men American Psycho & Harold and Kumar go to White Castle

Nikodevious

I'd love to see you two cover "Forbidden Planet" (1957). It's a major bit of cinematic history, possibly the first time a Sci-Fi movie was allowed a big budget, and was then made and treated seriously. Previous Sci-Fi films were primarily "Creature Features", lots of giant insects. Also, as a plus, you get to see a very young Leslie Nielsen (Naked Gun) as a starship captain. If you do get around to this movie, keep in mind that it was released 12 years before the first moon landing. The imagination that went into this film is wonderful.

Rob M

So many great choices, but my favorites are Whiplash and Halloween

George mathis

We need movies for black history month

michael clarke

im happy american psycho is in second place. ive been wanting them to do that one. id love to hear their take on the ending.

Lee Cunningham

Not too sure if this is the right place to request movies that are not on the polls? I'm sure "Forbidden Kingdom" Jackie Chan And Jet Li would be a good choice.

elifalet gutierrez

I'm not at all surprised Death of Stalin isn't doing better than it is; it's a little niche. That said, I really hope you guys are able to get around to it some day, I suspect you'll really enjoy it, it's really funny/dark.

Seymor Butz

Oh yeah. CoM should be a great reaction.

Steve Mercier

'Children of Men' all the motherf&$%ing way.

Cubonemaker

COME OOOOON Whiplash! So close

braaap

harold and kumar! these movies are terrible and i am all for it i hope this wins lmao. one of those movies thats bad, you know its bad, it was never even trying to be good, and if you dont take it seriously then its a great time. im loving all the absurd comedies lately

Travis H

The current poll results is not in my tempo! I need Whiplash in the top 3 so I am only voting on that.

Aussiefeld

Not a good list of movies imo only 1 movie I would even consider watching on it, that being Wizard of Oz

Chase Schleich

Very weak poll this week. A couple possibilities though.
-American Psycho is Christian Bale's breakout performance in my mind. Great film. Both hilarious and thrilling.
-Paranormal Activity was a big success for the found footage genre and was scary for it's time. It's a cool little film.
-Halloween is a classic although it's a little corny now that the genre has taken a more brutal turn. Still a film that needs to be part of your bucket list.
-I'll just skip anything else on the list if it wins other than maybe Children of Men because I've never seen it so I would probably check that out.

How about a sci fi “ I come in Peace and Rapid Fire. Brandon Lee

Travis H

I personally couldn’t get into Death of Stalin, but a reaction to “In The Loop” a movie made by the same people would be phenomenal… no one would watch it because most haven’t even heard of the movie, but it would still be phenomenal for me, and that’s all that matters.🤣😉

Skinny_Obelix

The Death of Stalin is such a interesting movie, all the slapstick absurd scenes are based on real events, making it so much darker than when you watch without knowing the background.

Lachlan Caldwell

I recommend Bulletproof Monk (2003) for some kung-fu silliness.

Turnt SNACO

I really want to see Tomorrowland (2015) with George Clooney. It's flawed, but still one of my favorite movies. It was directed by Brad Bird, who also did The Iron Giant and The Incredibles. It's just a shockingly original premise, and has one of my favorite villain monologues with some brutally accurate social commentary.

droodly

I'm upset we still haven't seen Gremlins 2, one of the greatest sequels ever made.

HeyHeyJK

Holy shit I'm glad "Children of Men" is in the lead. Generally considered the best sci-fi film of this century and just fantastic. Threw in my vote for "Hero", too. Even if it doesn't win, Simone really should see it and just not film a reaction (is that allowed? it should be).

Martin

A superior piece of cinema in Whiplash is being edged out by…(checks poll)…Harold and Kumar. Welp…you win, world. You’ve finally broken me.

Christoph Plank

Please react to World's Greatest Dad with Robin Williams

Bennett Holleman

Can't wait for Children of Men. Such a masterpiece.

Thijs

Enjoy your break George, hope you will have a good time on your vacation!

Joe Mallard

Patiently waiting for the final Apes film!

Brandon Meng

Beyond spoiled that Children of Men is on track to win or come in 2nd, so much that I feel morally obligated to not spam extra movie recommendations.

Michael Kemmet

It might not work because Simone is probably watching them as soon as they come out, but I'm going to put in a gentle series request for The Legend of Vox Machina. Especially since a Mighty Nein series was just announced today, as well as possible future Critical Role movies.

JayF

American Psycho is horrible IMO. I expect a lot of, "WTF is going on!?!" from G&S.

Travis H

Whiplash hive we are only 40 votes away from 3rd place!

Matt

Children of Men is one of my favorite films ever so excited to see a reaction would have loved Whiplash too

Huckleberry lobo

Forbidden Kingdom starring Jackie Chan & Jet Li if you haven't seen it.

micah saldana

You should check out Bullet Train if you're looking for something recent to watch, its a really fun movie :)

Marc Viloria

Nothing more I want to see than George react to the Wizard of Oz.

Wrencher86

Death Of Stalin is very good. Hope it makes the schedule at some point. My standing recommendation for Ravenous (1999) continues. I'd try to sell you on it, but the less you know the better. It's a good movie to be surprised by.

Chase Schleich

Did a re-watch of Predator along side your reaction video last night and realized you haven't reacted to Predator 2 yet. Danny Glover (Murtaugh from Lethal Weapon) is the lead (instead of Arnold) in that one. The film didn't get much love when it first released, but it's beloved by a lot of fans today.

Vic Aguilar

I hope you guys consider reacting to the sequel to The Shining, Dr. Sleep!

DinChild

I don't see much love for Death of Stalin around. Hopefully it sticks around in the polls.

AlimonyMoney

Here is one I think George would like... Megan. Maybe he can explain if something like a Megan could exist. And an xmas movie Violent Night

Lyonheart86(BryonH)

still would really love to see Almost Famous and rudy make a poll

warcrimes

Children of Men is by far the best movie on this list, an absolute underrated gem.

AdmiralZhou

Some movies you should think about adding to polls are: Prisoners (since you guys love Denis), Nightcrawler

Justan S

I love all the martial arts movies you guys have been watching together! I would love to see you react to Fearless with Jet Li it's one of my all-time favorite movies

Pk

Anyone know if they have seen Knives Out? I was planning on checking that and Glass Onion this week, but might wait if they are planning to do them... Seems like a good time.

offbrandhotdogs

Small F in the chat for Death of Stalin. I'd recommend anyone watch it in their own time if it doesn't make it to the channel. It's a terrific dark comedy that is also broadly historically accurate.

Jeb Manning

I think if you want to do a ridiculous horror comedy, I would suggest Leprechaun for when Saint Patrick's Day comes, if that's OKay? It's about a vengeful leprechaun that tries to kill people who stole his pot of gold. It stars Warwick Davis who starred in Willow and was Wicket the Ewok in Star Wars Return of the Jedi. It also stars Jennifer Aniston in her film debut, oddly enough. It's dumb, but in a hilariously fun way.
