Isn't that sign from the walking dead lol

Bruce Bromley

One of my faves. Don't you dare be dissing George Romero and his blue zombies thoughs. Like George, this is the film that introduced me to the covers of Richard Cheese. He does great covers, all in the lounge style. If you thought these zombies were fast, check out World War Z.

Onikaze

is the original reaction(1978) on the YouTube channel? yt search isn't bringing it up.

Brendan Rafferty

The original 1978 Dawn of the Dead is such a better film. The makeup effects may have been cheesier, but the characters actually had a plan that made sense and weren’t complete morons. Also, while I like the faster zombies in the remake… the new rule that only the bitten turn is stoooopid and means it wouldn’t be everywhere all at once

As soon as George said “I would get a silent weapon and a bicycle” I thought to myself, now there’s a man who’s read the Zombie Survival Guide.

Brendan Rafferty

Max Brooks’ zombie books are terrible and the advice in the zombie survival guide are cartoonishly absurd. He recommends bicycles over SUV’s because I guess he thinks zombies will step out of the way… and katanas over guns because zombies will all line up and slowly wait for him to penetrate their skulls with a katana. Max Brooks imagines plowing through hordes of zombies, lopping off heads as he goes.

Darn, when I saw the email alert I was excited, but then just saw it was the remake. I love the opening sequence of this one, but the rest is unfortunately just a louder, dumber version of the original. It's cool though that Polley and Rhames got top billing.

Jonathan Ly

The singer for that song is Richard Cheese. He'd great with parody songs.

Jonathan

The main female character in the original was pregnant also.

Bruce Bromley

They didn't react to it, but saw it on their own. George's partner on CineGringe introduced it to them.

Rob Church

I still think this is Zack Snyder's best film and I think it has a lot to do with James Gunn being the writer

HeyHeyJK

I was excited until I saw you're watching the remake and not the original. I've always avoided it but your reaction might still be worth a watch.

Purple Dragon Knight

For some more Andy, google Dawn of the Dead Andy's lost tapes. There is 16 minutes of the movie from Andy's point of view.

Brian Hakala

One of my favorite zombie movies! Did you guys catch the cameos on the mall tvs before everything went out? The two stars of the original and Tom Savini all were there.

Rob Church

Hey was just recently rewatching some older reactions. It's been like 5 months since John Wick 2 and with the 4th recently getting a teaser, maybe its time for JW3?

Andy H.

Richard Cheese cover of Down with the Sickness.
