I don't know if this has been confirmed, and I'm too lazy to check, but the scene where John assembles his gun and listens to the cylinder really seems to be an hommage to Tuco doing the same thing in The Good The Bad & The Ugly (Best Western ever, but that's an other story)

I honestly thought the movie was good I like how the characters dealt with things like grief and loss most mcu movies are more comedic im glad wakanda forever didn’t feel like that

Useless Trivia: Parabellum as a single word is a specific type of 9mm handgun round. Also if you've never seen Clint Eastwood's "The Good. The Bad and The Ugly" the scene where he crafts a gun out of several different parts is a homage to that.

i didnt watch this one. i saw the second one and felt that it was over written. they got lost trying to contextualize things in the first movie that were fine just being hinted at. part of the strength of the first movie was its over all simplicity. this is a good example of a world building fail IMO

After watching this one i was done with Wick movies. It is way to overboard now. They are probably fighting in space in the next one :D

Winston shot John in the perfect places to keep him alive, just like John did for the Doctor at the beginning of the movie.

I'm totally with you. 2 +3 have some stunning action scenes and are fun to watch for that, but they got lost in the "world building" and "make it bigger and more spectacular"-thing. Probably because it was not planed to make multiple movies when they made the first one. That was just a simple revenge story with a pretty clean "no loose ends" finish. The story was told, not much more to gain from it. So they had to make a invincible superhero out of what was just a world class but still human assassin.

With the little difference that the doctor didn't felt down 10-15 storeys onto a paved road. ;) I'm pretty sure that fall would be way more lethal than the shot wound.
