The last polls winner was Bruce Almighty and we'll be watching it today, and it will be ready for Patreon this Saturday! The Grand Budapest Hotel came really close so we'll be watching it as part of next weeks schedule and it will be released shortly after. Until then, here is this week's poll with some of the movies suggested by you guys!Remember, you can vote for multiple films!Reminder: movies that don't win does not mean they will never be watched, it just means they will be watched later. Please be respectful to each others opinions, we're all just here to have fun and watch movies :)

Comments

David Blake

I hope you'll react to all the DCEU (above all Wonder Woman and Zack Snider's Justice League).

streaky

Man of Steel criminally underrated. Everything that stemmed from it is plus/minus garbage, particularly WW, but Man of Steel..

Patrick Egan

Man Of Steel, BvS Ultimate Edition, Wonder Woman and Zack Snyder’s Justice League make for a fantastic quadrilogy of movies, and I will always advocate for them :)

Tim Boxall

So glad you're watching Grand Budapest Hotel - a confection more beautifully crafted than Herr Mendl's finest fancies...

stewystewartson

Please add Unforgiven 1992 to the next poll

Dakota

Please stay away from the DCEU. Too many bad movies and too many fanatics that will attack you if you don't love them. If you want a DC movie to watch I recommend Mask of the Phantasm. The best Batman movie, though it is part of Batman the Animated Series.

Brandon Meng

Cue indecisive Larry David GIF

Jayson Phillips

Stop telling them your not to watch something others have opinions too.

Mike

Man of Steel because I'd like to see a DC watch through for yall. At least a Snyder-verse watch through. MOS, BVS, Wonder Woman, Snyder-cut JL. Aquaman is part of the DCEU, but continues the story from the theatrical cut of JL not the snyder cut, so it's skippable. So is Shazam, but that's actually a decent movie & fun to watch. WW84 is an out of canon flick that makes no sense in the universe but could work as a stand alone film. The first Suicide Squad is horrible, the 2nd by James Gunn is hilarious & the follow up series Peace Maker is one of the funniest shows I've ever seen.

Toby

When is the This Is The End-reaction coming up?? :-)

Opti_Frog

With the exception of Hunger Games: Catching Fire, this is a very meh poll.

Mike

I believe the Flash is done in such a way that it's canon for the Snyder-verse and the Theatrical cut of JL. Making it a send off to that universe as well as the DCEU as a whole. Could time out a DC watch through to end at the same time that one drops on streaming.

Marko T.

I think you should watch Jurassic Park 3 before World. You don't have to do reaction but I recommend at least watching it :)

Joseph M Sica

Shout out from the US Marine Corps! Worlds End another great movie! <3

Stu84

I think you'll love the Grand Budapest Hotel. "Delightful" is the best way to describe it.

Jeff Norwood-Brown

I’m going to suggest ‘Paul’ for your next poll. As I do every week. And will continue until you watch it. And then I’ll nag you about The Dish. :)

Eduar Lpz

Nah, those are big budget B movies.

Jeff K.

I'm not suggesting they're bad movies, but I've been so fascinated to discover through reaction channels the last year or so that the internet freaking LOVES the Pirates sequels (the first one was legitimately great, and I thought there were very diminishing returns the longer the franchise went on).

Duncan

I can confidently speak for everyone when I state that reacting to MCU and DCEU garbage would be a terrible idea and a disaster for the growth of the channel In fact these movie reaction channels should BAN those movies all together

Sam

So happy that you decided to also watch Grand Budapest.

Long-time Sci-Fi Enthusiast

I`d really like to see someone react to the 1932 Drama/Romance film The Grand Hotel. It stars several Hollywood greats, Greta Garbo, John Barrymore, Joan Crawford & Lionel Barrymore.

Roxolan

Suggestion: Annihilation (2018). It's a horror movie, unusual in its visuals and how it does horror (no scares! everything brightly lit and colourful!). Got a limited release before moving to Netflix and you can count the Youtube reactions of it on one hand.

michael clarke

i voted for wakanda just cause i havent seen it and if you review it, thatll probably be the closest ill ever come to watching it. i was among the people suggesting bumblebee..... just as an alternative to those trash mainline transformer movies. so yeah... i voted for two movies i really do not care about. this is a bad poll.

jmundt33a

I went with Catching Fire, but there are some solid choices here. I always thought the third Pirates film could have brought the series to a satisfying conclusion if they’d left it there. The second Pirates film felt like they were trying to mimic Lord of The Rings’ cinematic structure, but weren’t sure how. So the film didn’t have a beginning or end, it was just all middle. War for Planet of the Apes is excellent and sad. Bumblebee is the best made and most fun Transformers entry. I also enjoy Man of Steel and Wonder Woman. And the DC animated universe has a lot of entertaining entries. Kevin Conroy was (damn it) consistently superb as Batman. And Birds of Prey was a blast, even with Rosie Perez (their second choice) as Montoya. McGregor was surprisingly enthusiastic and capable as the villain.

Mati D.

I really want you to watch The wolf of Wall Street, its an amazing movie and Leo is 10/10

Justin Wolford

I love all these movies. Wish they all could win.

G P

LOL none of these

simpLeXity

This is an unfortunate list for Bumblebee which is a great movie and definitely worth watching

Kinokind

This is an example of a fundamental issue with reaction channels. Popular movies are not always good movies, but they are fresh in the viewer's mind. Now we assume that George and Simone's audience must be above average (suck-up), but all of these films are from 2007 onward. What happened to all the films of the preceding century? I would suggest that many of the reaction channel viewers have never seen them and are blithely unaware of their existence. Now I'm not saying everything viewed should be a "classic". I'm a big fan of 70s and 80s horror and sci-fi, among other things, myself, but many of the films in the above list will be all but forgotten in a decade. For example, "Citizen Kane" (1941) has been at the top of the list of the greatest films ever made for years, but I know of no reaction channel that has watched it. Why is that? OK, discuss!

Matt O'Keefe

None of them. But that's just me.

Joe Mallard

War for the Planet of the Apes, gotta finish off the best trilogy of the past decade!

Theoshin

I know it lost not to long ago, but i could really re watch Rocky 2 about now. Also I am not sure if i have seen Jim Henson's Labyrinth on a poll

Brendan Rafferty

How have you not seen Man of Steel? This is easily the best of the DC films and the best Superman film

Robb

Finally At World's End 👍 can't wait Still waiting for Hunger Games 2 and the Mummy 2 tho :/

Liberty on the Air

I'm going to continue to lobby for South Park, Bigger Longer and Uncut.

Ben

Before watching 'Jurassic World' you should watch 'Jurassic Park III' as you haven't reacted to that yet. Then when it comes to watching 'Jurassic World' ... don't ... because it is absolutely awful!

Jay

One thing I appreciate about Cinebinge, uploads/polls go up the same time, same day every week. No other podcast or reactor I've subbed to on Patreon does it. This list couldn't be further from my own tastes so with Wes Anderson on the watchlist, I'll start grovelling for The Commitments ahead of Paddy's Day. From 1991, it's about a band, a seriously good band btw, in my home city of Dublin and it's fu__ing brilliant! My all time favourite Irish film and unlike my feelings about this poll, pretty sure I'm not in the minority saying that.

sarCC

Bumblebee and Catching Fire tower way above the other movies in their respective movie franchises; they seem like unbelievable miracles. War For The Planet Of The Apes is spectacular, too.

FranciscoGios

My least favorite movies on this list are Jurassic World & Hunger Games. As for the people who hate the whole poll, at least you guys got The Shinning for Christmas ;).

Iván cruz

The people saying this a meh poll are the ones that think citizen Kane is like gods gift to the world lol

Th D

plz men of steel

Monica Alarcon

I'm surprised Man of Steel is on second place. Pleasantly surprised, I liked it a lot. The rest of the Snyder verse not so much.

braaap

fwiw i think this is a pretty meh poll too and i dont like boomer movies either. I like this style of movies but it's simply that none of these are that good. The "good" movies here were all kinda flops. Pirates of the Caribbean really starts to go off a cliff at this point, 44% on rotten tomatoes. Jurassic World kinda sucked. All these movies felt like cash grabs to me.

Dee Aitch

D. None of the above.

Martin

I’d like you guys to do a sports movie poll. Call it, “Yay Sports!” Seriously though, these are great movies: Cinderella Man (2005) Hoosiers (1986) Moneyball (2011) Miracle (2004) Remember The Titans (2000) The Fighter (2010) Warrior (2011) Seabiscuit (2003) Friday Night Lights (2004) All great movies with great stories and performances.

Rene Leclair

This is the first Cinebinge poll where I haven't seen(and don't care to see) a single one of the movies. Oh well. They can't all be W's. Y'all still my favorite movie reactors :)

Jinyatta

Canadian Bacon!

Wilss

I don't like any of these unfortunately.

Armchair Rizzard

I'm rooting for Jurassic World and War for the battle for the conquest of the planet of the Apes: The Apening!

Kage Uzumaki

Hot take I enjoyed all transformers movies as well as the pirates series

DM DC

I am somewhat surprised by the results of this vote too. Instantly I was like: Pirates At Worlds End! Not sure why but I sort of expected it to be lower in place than what it is. Not complaining though, I've been really excited for them to see that. Even if they don't do the rest of the movies, for the Pirate franchise, At World's End is a MUST! lol. For sports movies, I'm not the biggest fan of that type, but A League of Their Own is a wonderful movie. I really enjoyed that film. Man of Steel is a good film. I enjoyed it alot. Bumble Bee too. I haven't seem Black Panther Wakanda Forever. I'm still working my way through all the MCU films in release order. Got a few to go yet.

mpd

I'd like to see someone react to Arrival of a Train at La Ciotat (1896). Although that title is a major spoiler

Greymond

I'm both happy and sad to see Pirates on the poll. Happy because it's the one movie I've been waiting months for since you guys did Dead Man's Chest, and it being here means it hasn't been completely forgotten. But sad, because I kind of assumed you guys already committed to watching it when you did the 2nd movie. If it's at the mercy of the votes and ends up losing to Man of Steel, who knows when we might get to it *sobs* Although things are looking pretty good at the moment...

Raymond DeGraw

Would love to see reactions for these... 1. The Crow 2. Secondhand Lions 3. The Game 4. Holes 5. Braveheart

lordofcheeks

War for the planet of the apes is the best one here. best series too

Jeff I.

It's super underrated and admittedly wouldn't get a ton of views, but a horror film called The Empty Man from 2020 would be awesome to see here. 'Brandon Likes Movies' did a reaction to it back then, so I gave it a try out of curiosity and was blown away by how well done it was overall.

Skarr

unpopular view maybe: The only reason to watch The Man of Steel is if you want to start watching the DC Snyder-verse. unless you're going to watch Batman v Superman and eitherthe Wheadon or Snyder versions of The Justice League, then you're better off spending all the hours filming and editing something else.

Eik104

It seems nobody on youtube has reacted to Be Cool (2005) Its a fun lighthearted comedy starring sooo many people I know you love!

HeyHeyJK

Yeah, I don't care at all about "Bruce Almighty" and can't believe it won the poll, but also super excited for "The Grand Budapest Hotel". Love that film so much. Hope they go on to do "The Fantastic Mr. Fox", "Moonrise Kingdom", "Isle of Dogs", and almost all of Wes Anderson's films, tbh.

Andy

It's tough to gauge how the polls influence things. Memento beat out American Psycho by 1 vote but they still watched psycho.

Matthew Griggs

Love Man of Steel. One of my fav action moves of the last decade for sure

Chase Schleich

I really think you need to do a top 3 winners this week. Pirates is going to win so we can continue that franchise, Man of Steel getting 2nd and is great, plus it kicks off the Synderverse if you want to watch more DC films, and Planet of the Apes is 3rd, but you need to watch it to finish off the trilogy. So next week, just do those 3 and screw whatever else you had planned lol.

Huckleberry lobo

I know I'm late to the game but In your Sixth Sense reaction, George you asked if there was a movie with Bruce Willis with the number 7 in it( because of 5th Element, Sixth Sense) and Lucky Number Slevin is the closest I can think of if you guys ever get a chance to check it out.

AlimonyMoney

Still waiting for Prey and Gremlins 2.......

Magnificent Gojira

You simply must do at some point Twelve Monkeys. Apart from getting a chance to see an incredible style of Terry Gilliam, it has Brad Pitt, Bruce Willis and crazy time travel plot

Adam Atomic

You guys gotta watch Dune (2021) sometime. From one of the best directors working today, Denis Villeneuve (Arrival, Blade Runner 2049, Sicario). And he's Canadian ;)

Fat Cole

Not sure if it has already been done, but "The Equalizer" reminded me so much of David Cronenberg's "A History of Violence" that I went to rewatch it. Would probably be great for the channel too

Liberty on the Air

You guys just asked if Keanu Reeves has ever played a villain. You also said you wanted to watch more Denzel Washington movies. What if I told you there was a movie where both things happen??? They are both in a truly wonderful adaptation of Shakespeare's "Much Ado About Nothing." Also starring Kenneth Branaugh, Kate Beckensale, Robert Sean Leonard, Emma Thompson and Brian Blessed. You guys should view it! A Shakespearean comedy with Keanu Reeves as a villain? Already I know you're both intrigued. Also, the movie is currently FREE to watch on Youtube and Amazon! https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0107616/

Brandon Meng

Between Children of Men and Grand Budapest Hotel, I don't know if I've ever been or could ever be more excited for a release on this channel. You guys have been amazing this year!

John

Are you guys still doing bruce almighty today?

Kim Murphy

"None of the Above" - Harold and Maude - 1971 (Bonus - a full cup of Cat Stevens music as the soundtrack)
