Martin

C’mon Whiplash.

Mitchell Bowker

Let's go Chef! But if not Chef... Whiplash! Let's go!

Jeff K.

Chef won’t come close to winning (I also wouldn’t really classify it as a drama, either), but if/when you guys watch it… be ready to be absurdly hungry by the end because it’s basically Food Porn: The Movie.

Jester

I want Jon Favreau to make me a grilled cheese

redddfer44

Voting: - Chef for something I've never even heard of - Whiplash because it's excellent - Worlds Fastest Indian in support of the person who's kept asking it for aeons - Basic Instinct for the "interesting" moments that would ensue and editing nightmare because I'm sadistic that way (and because I'm a Verhoeven fanboy)

dieselbeast

The whale was great, there's a reason Brendan won an Oscar for it

Jeromy M

Whiplash, then The Prestige, Basic Instinct then TWFI

Opti_Frog

The Prestige is not only Christopher Nolan's best film, it's probably one of my top 5 favourite movies ever.

streaky

Putting Chris Nolan movies up against other movies and thinking that other movies have a hope - cute :)

Jay Davis

I guess I'll go sit in the corner with the The World's Fastest Indian and wait our turn.

Thywaz

Many good ones, but The Whale man...

Lachlan Smith

Love most of the movies on this list but Prestige hands down! My favorite movie of all time. I would almost even strongly suggest watching it twice! One of those amazing movies where you pick up more and more with each watch appreciating just how good it is with every viewing!

Davide

The Prestige. Period!

Guillermo Antonio Ricci Alvarez

If you guys get to see Chef later on, I recommend watching it after eating... otherwise you'll get really hungry watching it

Nik

I've only heard of Basic Instinct, but it's not my thing really.

Nik

It's amazing how there's so many movies and actors these days that it's possible to both enjoy movies and also have never heard of famous actors people seem to love. I've never even heard Chris Nolan's name before.

Ashton Lewis

Honestly, no matter the results of the poll, you should watch Chef at some point. It's a really funny feel good film that I think you'll like

Corabal

Nolan's best movie vs. Faverau's best movie vs. Chazelle's best movie

Brendan Rafferty

Fuck yes. The Prestige. I was disappointed, scrolling down the list, and then there it was… The Prestige… you will love this film

Brendan Rafferty

Whiplash is good… if you know nothing about music. Otherwise, it’s overhyped nonsense

Andrew Clark

Worlds Fastest Indian is a cool underdog flick about my hometown hero, Burt Munro - played by Anthony Hopkins.

p0sthum4n

Chef is easily the most worthwhile film on this list, but some folks just wanna watch The Prestige for the 200th time.

Michael Robayo

The Prestige please. I would say, Whiplash second.

Jeff I.

I guess just not enough people here have seen The Whale yet, since it only came out on streaming a couple months ago. Looking forward to it and Whiplash someday. :-)

Cookoo b. W!erd?

Too bad you wonder able to put basic instincts best scene up for obvious reasons

sarCC

The Prestige is one of Nolan's very best. And this is coming from a person who is not a Nolan fanboy.

GBmain

Worlds Fastest Indian is a great true story with Anthony Hopkins nonetheless... everybody will love it... wish it got more votes... but i've been waiting for The Prestige too so.... it swings in roundabouts Edit: Basic Instinct getting that many votes?... I see you Cinebinge community... you dirty, dirty deviants XD...

Kevin Knadle

Basic Instinct should be CineCringe.

Persnickity

Chef is such an amazing movie. A few of my line cook friends have tattoos for it

Robert da Spruce

World’s Fastest Indian is underrated. Deserves more love IMO.

The Dark Unknown

Worlds Fastest Indian needs more love Such a good movie and no one has reacted to it :(

Toby

Whiplash is ridiculously good!

Robert Cooper

You should really see Dangerous Liaisons before Cruel Intentions.

Just_James

Wanted the Whale because Brendan Fraser who is Canadian just delivers in this role. Also the absolute state that Simone and George will be at the end (as was I when i watched)

W T

Goddamn, Whiplash and Chef in the same poll? Arguably two of my favorite movies that couldn't really be more different, I'll take either please

Studio

Whiplash is the better choice. Prestige is meh.

Armchair Rizzard

Chef is so underrated. Whiplash gets a lot of attention already. Though it is very good and deserves praise. I'm hoping Chef wins because its not reacted to often.

redddfer44

My previous joking aside: in case you didn't know, Basic Instinct is an erotic thriller famous for long and explicit sex scenes. It's basically softcore porn at times. If that's something you wanna react to together, cool, but if not, I thought you should know.

Brendan Rafferty

Cruel intentions is remake of Dangerous Liasons, but dumbed down for a teen audience

Bill Woods

Add _The 13th Warrior_ to the next go 'round?

Da Big Appa

While it will not win I am hoping at some point you guys watch Chef. I think you would both really enjoy the heart of the movie.

Choi_Yujin_Stan_Account

Disappointed The Whale isn't doing better...still hoping you get to it at some point

jmundt33a

Cruel Intentions and Whiplash as the clear class of the list. Which is weird. Fraser's performance is definitely worthy of accolades but the film around him?

micah

the whale is absolutely heart wrenching. hopefully it comes up again later

Travis H

Whiplash has been a top vote getter on multiple polls and deserves to win one finally! Also voting for Cruel Intentions because it’s fun and Simone should experience Ryan Philippe’s butt.

Steve Mercier

There's a few good ones on here...but The Prestige all the way.

Hyperdryve

Can we leave suggestions here or is there another place we can do that?

Alan Kobb

I just want to make sure that we finish what we've started. Great reaction to The Bourne Identity. Keep it going!

Travis

Some bangers on here. Hard to go wrong but you guys will probably appreciate The Prestige the most

Logan Kerlee

I just got finished watching The World's Fastest Indian and wow.. such a great film! It obviously isn't winning this poll, but now I'm wanting it on future polls, so George and Simone can enjoy it. :)

pretzels4wetzel

Chef is the best cooking movie of all time

Wrencher86

In solidarity with my own goal of getting Ravenous on a poll so it can perform just as poorly, I'm only voting for Worlds Fastest Indian. The Prestige is typical Nolan: An expertly crafted, meticulously designed bauble that turns to dust if you think about it for more than 2 seconds. It's wonderfully shot, beautifully composed, well-acted and, upon closer inspection, dumb as hell. Nolan is a once-in-a-generation director and just a complete hack as a writer. That's why his best film, Memento, was largely written by his brother.

Hector M.

Prestige and Whiplash!!! LETSGOOOO!

Joshua Frydenlund

I would definitely enjoy a reaction from George and his Dad reacting too: “The Last Emperor” (1987).

Joe Mallard

A Knights Tale and for the love of God, please watch War for the Planet of the Apes!

Skinny_Obelix

Just a warning, don't watch Chef when you're hungry and have to get groceries.

JonnyBoomstick

Ooh yeah definately watch The Prestige and The Whale. I would love to see you watch other titles like Pirates of The Caribbean 4, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, Holes, Rango, The Lone Ranger, Marley and Me, Ready to Rumble, Semi Pro, Lets be Cops, Ace Ventura both of them, Texas Chainsaw massacre original and/or 2003 one. Amadeus, The Crucible, Hardcore Henry, Rocky 2, Halloween, Friday the 13th, Freddy vs Jason eventually, Did you know that The Shining has a mini series remake made in 1997? I thought it was terrifying. As far as shows if you havent seen Breaking bad or Walking Dead I recommend them. I could keep listing but it would be an insane post if I did lol. I can provide virtually any movie if you need as well 😀

Rob Yung

War for the planet of the apes

Shane Darcy

Whiplash will never win 😂 always paired against a behemoth

ThePVO

I know there's still a million worthwhile movies and you've done a great job of mixing in critical and popular picks but you've ignored some important directors entirely. Michael Mann, Milos Forman, Pedro Almodóvar, Kathryn Bigelow, David Lynch, Spike Lee, Sidney Lumet, Alan J Pakula, David O Russell, Oliver Stone, Billy Wilder, John Woo.

Ginger

I agree with the comment above in recommending some Michael Mann. "Heat" and "Collateral" are two really great ones.

Dooly

Chef for the memes

Brandon Meng

I only voted for Chef. It's so vastly underrated and fun. I remember how surprised I was when I saw it because it exceeded all of my expectations and I fell in love with it so easily. It was so good that I'll let this comment stand alone and not even bother adding other recommendations for viewing or future lists. I recommend Chef!

Andrew

I wanted to suggest the movie CODA from 2021!

nossieboy

Watching them react to Basic Instinct would be f'ing hilarious.

Alan Hightower

World's Fastest Indian is such an awesome movie. And the fact it's a true story is just icing on the cake.

carbsix

Seven Pounds is a good drama

Viktor M

Please consider Black Dynamite (2009) in your next comedy poll. A hidden Jew and one of the best parodys ever :)

braaap

how is worlds fastest indian in last? by far the best movie on that list. maybe im biased being a kiwi but that is an iconic piece of NZ history right there and the move is epic. honestly it might be time to cancel my sub here. the polls are just just frustrating these days. you guys are trying to cater to too wide an audience to keep as many subs as you can and it's honestly ruined the patreon. now nobody is happy.

Huckleberry lobo

Law Abiding Citizen (2009) starring Leonidas himself that blurs the line between justice and revenge for your consideration 💥🔥

Chase Schleich

Gotta love The Prestige. Glad it's winning. Would like to see The Whale though. I have a copy, I just haven't watched it yet and it would be cool to watch it for the first time with Simone and George. Also, kind of surprised Basic Instinct is so low. I figured it would have way more votes for just that one scene alone. Lol

tex gransh

omg the prestige is a masterpiece !! one my favorites of all time, im so glad !

BlindPanda

Chef is a feel good movie and I love it

Mr. Ed

The Prestige is one of Nolan's best. I liked The Whale, Brenden Fraser deserves the Oscar that he won for it.

Alex Ch

Face/off would be so great

Zolverine

Van Wilder with Ryan Reynolds!!

Joanthan Skidmore

I'm so glad The Worlds Fastest Indian was considered in a poll, even if it's doomed to fail here. It is a shame, as it's such a beautiful, funny and charming true story about a man attempting to fulfil his dream. A hero of mine :)

Darryl Glynn

Y'awl need to check out some "Carry On..." movies. 31 in this franchise were made. These are old, British innuendo comedies. I'm sure a few of us can suggest some of the best ones, such as Carry On Up The Khyber, Carry On Camping, and Carry on Doctor.

Chase Lonnergan

Beverly Hills Cop 1&2, Short Circuit, and Grosse Point Blank are absolute Must Watch movies!

Nathan m schuessler

I don’t know if anyone has requested it before, but you guys should totally check out Tremors. Its a cheesy low budget monster movie collection. At this point it’s a pretty big cult classic and definately worth the time for a popcorn flick. I like all of them but in my opinion, the first 2 to 3 are really where it’s at. I hope you guys watch them in the future!!
