redddfer44

One of my fave genres, so unsurprisingly I wouldn’t be sad for most of these.

Some Guy Some Where

I really want to see you guys react to Being John Malkovich. I think you'll love it. It's an amazing movie that would make an excellent reaction ep.

Roberto Abitua

One of these movies is so completely out of place here ha and I love it/hope it wins for that reason alone 🤣

Woody G

Great selecting of movies. Ex machina is one for George

David Martin

Ex Machina (one of my favorites) really belongs in SciFi.

FaceMustache

Ex Machina deserves the top spot.

Florian

Ohh excelent choise. I bag for from dusk till dawn and shutter island

Michael Robayo

Shutter Island. Period. And Taxi Driver. Lol

Chris

Ex machina easily the best here

Joe Williams

Good poll! I'd be happy with at least 4-5 of the 7💪. Obligatory Taxi Driver shout out🚕🚕🚕.

Liam Nissan

There's not really a bad one in here.. Drive and Gran Torino gets my vote.. But i imagine Ex Machina or Shutter Island will end up the victor if i were to guess..

Aussiefeld

From Dusk Till Dawn (1996) and Ex Machina (2014) are both great, I would consider it more as Sci-Fi but they are both great!

Jon Johns

Wowza! Tough list, y'all - good choices all!

mcfierce24

From Dusk till Dawn!

Viilutaja

From Disk Till Dawn and Gran Torino + Contagion (sleeper movie, do not miss)

Raymond DeGraw

Still hoping for... 1. The Crow 2. Falling Down 3. Braveheart 4. The Game 5. The Count of Monte Cristo (2002)

John

FROM DUSK TIL' DAWN!

GBmain

Gran Torino, Ex Machina and Shutter island are all top picks, others are good movies but i'd specifically like to see them react to those.

Rachel W

Oh, god, don't pick Contagion. We all lived it already.

Maddie

Taxi Driver is a must!

j c

From Dusk Till Dawn may not be the greatest movie ever, but it's the best movie for reactions

Rachel W

Two better Tarantino penned films that are also great for reactions--"True Romance" and "Natural Born Killers". You'll never look at Woody Harrelson the same way again.

Simon Clifton

Good selection there. Can I make a plea for a cult/indie British Films poll? Full Monty Withnail and I Italian Job (the original of course) Brazil Get Carter (again, the original) Kestrels Quadrophenia As starters for 10.

MasterElodin

Has Cloud Atlas ever been suggested? I feel like it's not very well known but such a great movie and I think you two would really appreciate it.

The Gunslinger

Could you cover Atlantis: The Lost Empire?

Martin

I voted for Drive, but honestly, this is a really strong lineup of movies.

Katrina Richelle

Great selection I wanted Shutter Island but Ex Machina is fantastic!

Mike

Gran Torino is a thriller? Really? Heart breaking emotional saga about life, death, pride, family, and aging... Yeah... But a thriller? Really?

redddfer44

IMDB SPOILS TOP 3. At least one of the current Top 3 has an IMDB page that will spoil some uniquely reaction-worthy surprises either through description, tagline (from a later release, not the original), or cast. I won't say which. Please, don't do the usual IMDB check-up.

carbsix

You might enjoy Unstoppable, Deepwater Horizon, The Perfect Storm...

TD

What about Super Troopers and the Perfect Storm?

Kinokind

On this current list the obvious classic is Taxi Driver, but I'm also a big Shutter Island fan. I sometimes grow weary of Tarentino. Violence, clever dialogue, feet. Plug it into a genre. OK, that's unfair, From Dusk Til Dawn is fine - it's just Tarentino. On the other hand, Taxi Driver and Shutter Island are two completely different Scorsese films. Style, cinematography, etc. But that's Scorsese. OK, discuss!

streaky

Ex Machina is an exceptional movie - but I'm a little surprised by the lack of love for Drive?

Jenny Tolls

Bruh fuck Ex Machina lol I'm so tired of seeing that movie win every single damn poll as if it's some masterpiece. It's not even that good. So lame lol

JayF

Gran Torino is my favorite from this list but, not going to lie, it might be a tough watch for you George. It's an incredible movie if you can get through it.

Daniel Bjork

Forget the poll, yall should watch Taxi Driver out of pure principle.

Hakuna

Shutter Island woulda been a good one for a reaction, but Ex Machina is cool too if it wins

Jeff I.

Kind of shocked that a classic like Taxi Driver isn't doing better. Looking forward to that one eventually, along with Drive and Shutter Island. Ex Machina is good too, but it wouldn't be my first or second choice with such strong competition in a poll like this.

PIG

Gah! Some good ones to choose from right here

Armchair Rizzard

One day there will be a universe in which they watch Drive. I think its an underrated movie.

sarCC

Yes! I love Ex Machina. Probably my favorite sci-fi film this century.

Opti_Frog

Contagion is really good, but i'm glad Ex Machina is winning. What is FDTD doing in this poll? 😅

akaTheBAY -AY-Ron

🖤A movie I haven't seen requested much since yall watched The Last Samurai is Glory. Such a great movie by the same director, Edward Zwick. Honorable mention by him would be Blood Diamond, also a pretty solid movie.

Studio

From Dusk Till Dawn NEEDS to win. Either that or Taxi Drive or Drive. More importantly: WHERE IS THE WIRE this monday?! Yall got Memorial Day off? Lmao

tex gransh

Omg, I was waiting for "the pefume" or "taken"

Maarten Martens

So many good movies, I'd be happy to see a reaction of either Shutter Island or Ex Machina, but whatever it will be I'm gonna be watching it right away!

Alex Ch

“Road House” starring Patrick Swayze would be a fun 90s action choice.

FranciscoGios

I'm sure they will like Ex Machina, FDTD would be great to Simone

Brendan Rafferty

Ex Machina was seriously flawed So you create an artificial intelligence… put it in an android body so it can move and speak… but because the body is made to look like a woman, the AI takes on the emotions and desires of a woman? Stooooopid

Brendan Rafferty

So Taxi Driver, one of the best films of the last hundred years, is losing to an overhyped flawed scifi with huge lapses of logic. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Astraeos

Contagion is actually really, really good. It also has become extremely relevant and accurate with the Covid pandemic. I'd highly recommend watching it at some point. Tremendous movie. I remember watching it in 2020 or early 2021 at the height of the pandemic and it was eerie as fuck, and kinda frightening.

Travis

Dusk to Dawn could be the most overrated movie of all time ngl

Wrencher86

I feel like George will either love Ex Machina or be annoyed by it, depending on how nitpicky he decides to get. I betting "love", though. Ex Machina is in my Top 5 movies of all time. It's really good. Another movie in that Top 5 is Ravenous(1999). So once you get done watching EM (which it looks like you're gonna), maybe check out Ravenous. You'll dig it. I promise.

Robert Finlay

FDTD is not a great movie, but it is a great reaction movie.

Michael Buhl

I don't know if Taxi Driver is exactly a "thriller," but it is one of my all time favorite films.

Jeff

Drive is soooo good. Even if it doesnt win (which it won't) you should still add it to the watch list.

Chase Lonnergan

Getting back to my weekly advocacy for: Beverly HIlls Cop 1&2 Short Circuit Clue

Huckleberry lobo

47th time recommending Last Action Hero, wish me luck guys 🤞🏼🫠🤞🏼

Jinyatta

Canadian Bacon!

Rachel W

Ttaxi Driver is a great film but bad as a react film.

Jacob King

I’m going to suggest Bad Times at The El Royale. It’s a movie that should be an absolute classic but seems to have missed its moment. It is very react-able, has a solid cast and a truly demented third act.

K Murray

Gran Torino is more of a straight drama, and is also mildly bad lol

Henry Sanchez

The best reaction will be from shutter island! So underrated I love it so much

Miguel Tapia

Contagion was so good. Especially watching all the parallels between it and the Covid outbreak.

Miguel Tapia

Ryan Gosling in Drive is literally me

Emmet Farrell

From dusk till dawn, the change of director 😂

Alexrandom

I know contagion will never win a poll but it's a great film and if you guys don't know what to watch someday this is a great choice. It will feel eerily familiar to something that happened a few years ago (not in the best way 😛)

Nicodemus Archleone

The current top three are all must watches to be honest.

YoureMrLebowski

before george became a professional movie watcher/editor/comedian he worked in ai. so i hope 🤞🏼 Ex Machina wins.

Magnificent Gojira

I'll go with older Marty for a change. It's been a long since you'vereacted to classics and it would be (I think) interesting for you to watch it specifically because you've already reacted to Joker

Martin

P.T.A. PSA: Boogie Nights Magnolia There Will Be Blood

YoureMrLebowski

Hopt to see Unforgiven (1992) on a poll soon.

Jay Davis

Geeee... I wonder which one I'm voting for. I dunno. What could DRIVE me to vote a certain way. Hmmmm

Squ33ky

ex machina is great i voted 3 voted bottom 3 they tend do do a few

YoureMrLebowski

Nightcrawler (2014) please and thank you.

Chase Schleich

You should start the Underworld series of films. Kate Beckinsale as the worlds hottest vampire in a war with werewolves. Not Oscar worthy films, but fun mindless vampire vs werewolf movies. I think they made 6 of them so they've got a good viewer base (at least the first few).

Marko T.

Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull (2008). I know George has seen it but would be great to hear what Simone thinks about it. Then you are ready for the new movie too.

Viktor M

Oh yeeessss. finaly we get a Drive reaction. Cant wait ;)

donness45

Would love to see these at some point. Love the channel! A League Of Their Own Big Catch Me If You Can The Sandlot The Man Who Knew Too Little

Seth Harvey

ex machina and drive are both so good

John

666 votes for from dusk til dawn!

Steven Cavanagh

not 100% sure if both these are Thrillers, but The Lost Boys and Fallen (an early Denzel Washington) are both great.

Jukka Ahonen

You guys should watch Eternal sunshine of the spotless mind.

Robert Finlay

If they watch an 80s Vampire movie, it should be Near Dark. Completely overshadowed at the time by the more MTV friendly Lost Boys but a much better film. Future Oscar winning director Kathryn Bigelow's directorial debut and starring several of the stars of Aliens which her husband James Cameron directed the year before.

Stephanie Bedworth

I'm sad that Contagion isn't doing better. It's such a good movie.

Sheens

Contagion reminds me, can you please watch War for Planet of the Apes?? I think Caesar's storyline is one of the best character-driven arcs out there.

Tommy

I'd love to see a reaction of Prometheus or Alien: Covenant! I think you guys would like them.

Sam

Sad ti see Gran Torino being that low, but to be fair this poll is kinda stacked.

Brandon Meng

you should make a poll for top movies voted for but you haven't reacted to, because in this poll any many others, there are some CLASSICS!

Mikey

Could you react to Blood Diamond with Leonardo DiCaprio

Doug's Night Terrors

If you're in the mood for another Al Pacino gangster movie, I'd like to recommend Scarface 1983 or Donnie Brasco 1997 (based on a true story).
