Until then, here is this week's poll with some of the movies suggested by you guys!Remember, you can vote for multiple films!Reminder: movies that don't win does not mean they will never be watched, it just means they will be watched later. Please be respectful to each others opinions, we're all just here to have fun and watch movies :)

Jeff K.

Really hoping for Planes, Trains, and Automobiles (though if you guys need a Thanksgiving movie, well, it's without question the best Thanksgiving movie ever made since it's one of the very, very few Thanksgiving movies ever made).

Rokkor X

Death of Stalin is amazing. All star cast and historical comedy.

pretzels4wetzel

The day that you guys watch chef is the day I can die happy

QuiGon_Jim (Howe)

I don't think Death of Stalin will ever win a poll but its 100% worth a watch some day.

redddfer44

Death of Stalin! I’ve been meaning to watch that for ages.

Chris Moon

You guys should watch Horrible Bosses and We’re the Millers!

Martin

More comedies for future polls: The Dictator A Million Ways to Die in the West Ted Stepbrothers Talladega Nights (The Ballad of Ricky Bobby) The Other Guys

John DelVecchio

Please check out or add “Wedding Crashers” to a future poll.

Matthew Richson

Planes, Trains, and Automobiles should be watched someday, without a doubt.

Joe Williams

I'd be amazed if "Death of Stalin" ever wins a poll but it's so, so funny. So is "In The Loop", another of Armando Iannuci's films. Both worth it just for the weapons-grade profanity.

Foodassassin4life

Please consider watching (2002) The Count of Monte Cristo, Lucky Number Slevin, Fresh, Fallen, Blood Diamond

Foodassassin4life

Also please watch Diehard 2 and Home Alone 2 this December

Parabolica

I see DOS, I vote DOS. Now that you’ve watched Chernobyl a while back I think the movie would make a lot of sense to you, as well as being very (darkly) funny.

Spacedone

I could happily never watch another Ben Stiller or Adam Sandler comedy ever again but that's fine, those two will probably get more viewers on Youtube than say, The Death of Stalin, which is funnier than both of them but due to being a political satire black comedy requires more in order to get the most out of it.

The Gunslinger

"Right, what does a war hero have to do to get some lubrication around here!" Death of Stalin is hilarious. Btw, could you cover Atlantis: The Lost Empire?

Raymond DeGraw

Always fun and great reactions... Still looking forward to seeing these movies... 1. Alita Battle Angel 2. The Crow 3. Falling Down 4. Braveheart 5. The Game Bonus Show - FX's The Shield (Not Marvel)

redddfer44

One of those polls where my votes end up on positions #5, #6, and dead last :D

jmundt33a

Planes, Trains and Automobiles is 1986, not 1996. Should be changed for the reaction vid when it does happen. And I'm fine with the exploration of early Sandler, but Mixed Nuts is probably his funniest early movie before The Wedding Singer.

Jobbe Smit

Burn After Reading is such an underrated movie. Can I recommend the greatest Peter Jackson movie? Brain Dead aka Dead Alive?

Martin

Happy Gilmore isn’t even Sandler’s funniest movie. That honor belongs to Billy Madison.

JarHead0351

Cheech & Chong's Up In Smoke

Jesse Coombs

I'm always going to vote for the Coen Brothers. You guys could watch their entire library and I would be a happy man.

Astraeos

Well, they'll never win but Death of Stalin and Burn After Reading are must watches. They are both some of the finest comedies of the last 20 years, easily.

Joe Mallard

TED is raunchy, hilarious movie.

יוסי פורקוש

look at "back to school" for the 80's and for the TV shows you must wath "justified". "the grand tour" on Amazon and the best show ever "battle star galactica". love you

Huckleberry lobo

For Youtube views, upset stomach, and your consideration- Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice (1988) 😁

QuiGon_Jim (Howe)

'O Brother, Where Art Thou?' Needs to go on a poll sometime soon too.. Its a fantastic film..

Michael Buhl

Death of Stalin seems especially relevant these days.

Jonathan

A future possible comedy could be Mars Attacks. :)

darkmoobs

I know it’s not on the list, but Wet Hot American Summer is a fantastic absurd comedy. Tons of famous actors are in the movie, it’s great!

YoureMrLebowski

i hope Death of Stalin gets a reaction. simone and george are smart, many reactors not so much.

Choi_Yujin_Stan_Account

Other comedy suggestions: Eighth Grade, Bottle Rocket, Thoroughbreds (Dark Comedy)

Choi_Yujin_Stan_Account

More Other comedy suggestions: Hollywood Shuffle, Swingers, Monty Pythons The Meaning of Life

Johnny Liu

No Harold and Kumar escape from Guantanamo bay?! That’s the peak of the franchise lol

Clint Farley

Game Night would be a great one, same team behind the D&D movie.

Emptysea93

Literally anything but “Napoleon Dynamite”. Such a gods awful film. But in the future I highly recommend “Clue”, “Best in Show”, or “To Wong Foo, Thanks For Everything, Julie Newmar”

Jeff I.

I'd predict that Zoolander ends up winning, since it's the most 'mainstream' one on the poll, but I'm pleasantly surprised to see both Happy Gilmore and Napoleon Dynamite doing so well early on.

JayF

I've never seen The Death of Stalin or Crazy Rich Asians. I like the others except Zoolander which was just annoying to me. Normally I'm a Stiller fan but that one had a style of humor that just turns me off. Napoleon Dynamite will likely never win a poll but it's a little indie film I think you'd both enjoy. Speaking of which, where is Clerks on this poll?

Jay

When I saw the options, I figured Happy G would be the winner. But Napoleon Dynamite in 2nd? I wouldn't have predicted that, love that movie:)

Robin

Another good one to add to a future comedy poll is Dirty Rotten Scoundrels. I just read an article where Michael Cain talks about his favorite movies that he's been in, and Dirty Rotten Scoundrels is apparently his favorite above all else.

Kyle Baker

Burn After Reading is SOOOOOOOOOOOOO good!

Naw

Napoleon Dynamite on a poll finallyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!!!!!!!!!! 'S'not gonna win, but still!! #Eeeeeeee

David Sumner

Death of Stalin was one of the best movies of 2017!

LJ

Napoleon Dynamite learned to walk so that Everything, Everywhere, All At Once could fly. Seriously, though, Napoleon Dynamite was to the Ben Stiller/Will Ferrell/Judd Apatow dominated comedy scene of the time exactly what EEAAO was to the Marvel domination in their respective genres: a low-budget indie darling with guts and heart and that you can't help but root for.

Maddie

Raising Arizona would have been a great option!

Opti_Frog

Voted for every movie except Happy Gilmore, and of course it's in the lead 😂 Napoleon Dynamite, Planes, and Zoolander are my favourites in this bunch, but Death of Stalin is also amazing and very underseen. I'd love to see What We Do in the Shadows on the next comedy poll.

Logan Kerlee

Very happy to see Happy Gilmore leading the poll, at the moment. It's a fave of mine that I really enjoy.

Skinny_Obelix

Planes Trains and Automobiles is such a great movie, but it's a thanksgiving movie.

Gary Trousdale

Come ONNNN Napoleon Dynamite! I am NOT an Adam Sandler fan.

Maarten Martens

Only saw Zoolander and that one was not for me. Any other and I'm in.

FromDarknessComesLight

I'm really torn personally about voting for Napoleon Dynamite. On the one hand, it's a cultural icon of the mid 2000s and many of my IRL friends swear by that movie. It's legacy is undisputed. On the other hand, I personally really didn't find it funny at all. I'm not a big fan of stoner movies in general but even in that category, other movies like Superbad and Dude Where's My Car did it way better in my opinion.

KnittingHaven

I know it probably won't ever win a poll, but just have to add my vote for Death of Stalin as one of the best movies to react to, dark historical humor, all-star cast, and depressingly relevant currently

Jay Davis

Because I have a track record of backing great movies that start with the letter "D" that don't ever quite make the cut. Cough! And because it deserves more love than it tends to get. I'm voting Death of Stalin!

Jinyatta

Canadian Bacon!

Tales From The Underside .com

Happy Gilmore is unbeatable. Lots of good choices, but none can compete with Adam Sandler’s best movie

William Burnham

The Death of Stalin is absolutely brilliant The cast is superb , especially Simon Russell Beale

Hakuna

I'd like to recommend Legend or the gentlemen, tom hardy is so good in legend and the gentlemen is great

DinChild

I can't recommend Death of Stalin enough. Lots of great options on this list, but something tells me Simone and George would love it...zoolander...ugh

Brandon Meng

No Judd Apatow comedies?! Forgetting Sarah Marshall Walk Hard Step Brothers Bridesmaids Pineapple Express Knocked Up Judging by your reactions to 40 Year Old Virgin and Anchorman, I think you both would enjoy all of these.

Alex Ch

If you haven’t seen them, the early Christopher Nolan films “Memento” and “Insomnia” would be great reactions.

Sheens

It will probably never ever win a poll but Death of Stalin is legitimately hilarious, and surprisingly true to actual events

Gary Poussard

Planes, Trains and Automobiles opened in 1987.

Jon Burrows

I voted for planes trains and also Napoleon Dynamite. Some others I’d like to see on future polls might be Forgetting Sarah Marshall, Zach and Miri make a Porno(Kevin smith movie), and the original National Lampoons Van Wilder (early Ryan Reynolds and Kal Penn)

Logan Nelson

Burn After Reading seems right up their alley...

Nick Johnson

Napoleon Dynamite looks like it's getting beat here but I hope you guys get to it soon! It's my favorite movie and I'd love to see what you guys think of it!

Chase Schleich

You guys would LOVE Zoolander. It's not going to win this poll, but it should really be put into the rotation.

akaTheBAY -AY-Ron

🖤Movie rec time: Drama: -The Whale. Already had a turn on a poll but I hope it gets another time to shine someday. Don't think a lot of people have seen it as of yet but its a fantastic movie that will absolutely wreck you both (In the best possible way) -The Wrestler. Another great Darren Aronofsky film. Very similar but also different to The Whale both in the right ways. Both movies' main characters couldn't be more different but also very similar at the same time. -Glory. Denzel Washington, Morgan Freeman, Mathew Broderick, and Cary Elwes among others all on their A games (plus ol' Cary E has been on a roll on this channel lately, plus we all finally know how to say his name, maybe he's got one more in him LOL) -Crash. Won a ton of awards, packed with stars, and a lot of great talent. One of those "bunch of stories that take place over a small period of time that overlap with each other in one way or another" kind of films. -Robin Hood Prince of Thieves (The Kevin Costner and Morgan Freeman Robin Hood). The main source of material for "Men in Tights" More comedies for future comedy polls: -Tommy Boy -Waynes World -Step Brothers -The Other Guys. IMO one of Will Ferrell's best. I easily put it up there with Anchor Man and Step Brothers. A really great cast for a comedy too. -Hot Tub Time Machine. Definitely on the corny side but if you liked Tropic Thunder and The Hangover, I'd think you would enjoy this one too.

YoureMrLebowski

The Nice Guys (2016) and if you patrons of the fine arts haven't seen it i highly recommend it.

Rachel W

Next time for comedies, the Cohen Brothers hilarious, "Raising Arizona". And a great Classics comedy, "Some Like it Hot" with Jack Lemon and Marilyn Monroe.

Endling_king

A good comedy that I havent seen many reactors watch is "maverick" from 1994 with Mel Gibson.

erosennin

I stumbled upon "Wag the Dog" the other night, which I hadn't seen since it came out and I was reminded of how great a movie it was. I looked for reactions on youtube and was shocked to see that there was only 1 (!!!) reaction to it. So I thought it put it out here: Please react to "Wag the Dog" at some point! It's got Robert DeNiro, Anne Heche, Woody Harrelson and Dustin Hoffmann in some fantastic roles. It's clever, it's funny, it's thought provoking. Great movie!

MacGuffinStuff

I'm totally "Happy" with whichever wins, they're all funny, but I'd say Trains, Planes... is great year round of course, John Candy is the best ever, but I still think of it as a holiday movie, I'd save it for then. Death of Stalin is fuckin hilarious if you can laugh at the timeless universal irony of human politics. A few comedies I might as well recommend: LIFE, Eddie Murphy + Martin Lawrence = 🤣 UHF, Weird Al's cinematic masterpiece THE JERK, Steve Martin does not age wtf JOE VS THE VOLCANO, weirdly relatable DEFENDING YOUR LIFE, this is honestly one of my favorite movies, obscure movie I guess but very funny take on death/afterlife, Albert Brooks writes, directs, and stars, and (BONUS) he even got Meryl 😍 Streep to be in it too.

Peter Hudson

Suggestion for a TV show after The Wire is The Pacific. Been a while since Band of Brothers so watching it's spiritual companion would be cool; understand if you want to watch something a bit lighter first though

Jacob King

Death of Stalin, truly one of the best movies of the last 10 years. It’s funnier than most comedies while being darker with more real stakes and consequences than most dramas. Also the best cast. I would nominate Punch Drunk Love for a future comedy poll but it requires a familiarity with Adam Sandler’s other movies and his comedic persona to understand the deconstruction work that’s happening so I don’t mind if Happy Gilmore wins.

C Perry

Every movie on this list is a definite must watch. They are all good. But to pick one? Definitely Zoolander.

JonnyBoomstick

Anger Management featuring Jack Nicholson and Adam Sandler, and Tenacious D with Jack Black and Kyle Gass are 2 more solid future comedy choices. Meet the Fockers if you want another Ben Stiller idea. As far as more Adam Sandler maybe Billy Madison and/or Mr Deeds. Other fun ideas are Ted and Deuce Bigalow: Male Gigolo

Jeb Manning

Maybe you could do a poll on classic fantasy movies? There are some great ones i'd love to see you do, like: -Dragonslayer -Willow -The Neverending Story -The Dark Crystal -Labyrinth -Drahonheart -Krull -The Last Unicorn -The director's cut of Legend -Excalibur -Time Bandits -Conan the Destroyer -Return to Oz -Red Sonja -The Adventures of Baron Munchausen The Beastmaster

Sean Barbante

Since we're in summer now and it's baseball season, I wanted to recommend my two favorite baseball movies; one comedy and one drama. - Major League - Eight Men Out

YoureMrLebowski

Unforgiven (1992) it's been a minute since you've watched a western.

Be Human

The comedy of Happy Gilmore didn't stand the test of time for me. Zoolander got funnier every time I watched it.

Ben

Have you guys seen Scarface? You guys should watch Scarface (1983)

Huckleberry lobo

if Happy Gilmore wins I just know Simone is gonna love grandma.

William D

Would love to see a reaction to The Nice Guys (2016) considering it did very well in the previous comedy-orientated poll. Thanks, love the content.

Choi_Yujin_Stan_Account

If we have to sit thru another Adam Sandler after this one...then I hope it is The Wedding Singer

Choi_Yujin_Stan_Account

Other options for request... Wedding Crashers, Isle of Dogs, The Fantastic Mr Fox

Joe Mallard

Central Intelligence with The Rock and Kevin Hart is hilarious.

p0sthum4n

You guys should consider including Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy on a scifi/comedy poll. That is, if you haven't seen it — it seems exactly in tune with Simone's energy and she's already a Trekkie.

MacGuffinStuff

Okay hear me out, BASEBALL. I know you guys aren't into sports, but sports movies are great, especially boxing movies like Rocky of course. But the other sport that has probably the most movies made about or around, is baseball. Here's a list, the first 30% of which star Kevin Costner: Bull Durham, Field of Dreams, For Love Of The Game. Major League Moneyball The Sandlot 42 The Natural A League Of Their Own Eight Men Out * The Bad News Bears, the original

Lyonheart86(BryonH)

echoing off Martin, I would really love to see a sports movie poll.. A lot of them have great motivational and inspirational universally relatable stories. Rudy, Remember the titans, Field of dreams, Miracle, cinderella man , etc

Wrencher86

I see it's not doing great in the poll but I would like to add my voice to the supporters of The Death of Stalin. Excellent absurdist satire with phenomenal performances by Jason Issacs*, Steve Buscemi and Jeffery Tambor. I continue my lonesome (and non-punctual) crusade to get Ravenous on a poll so that it may come in dead last and be forgotten. The Paul guy and I will have something to commiserate about. Please allow me this camaraderie. *Event Horizon when? I want to know why Simone has already seen it and I want George to be freaked TF out for a week. (Sorry, George)

Koonce

Not sure if this is the best forum for recommendations, but Almost Famous (2000) could be fun.

howtocookazombie (Stan)

Movie suggestion: Since you watched both "Lethal Weapon" movies, I would suggest the parody "Loaded weapon". I'm sure you will laugh a lot. 😁

Turnt SNACO

Zoolander is so good and funny, yall would like it a lot.

peter mcconnell

Happy Gilmore on the same list as Death of Stalin? And it’s winning? 😬 Punch Drunk Love is a Sandler movie that is in the same ballpark. Would love to see that as an option.

Dazzler & Em

After you watched Tucker and Dale, you mentioned that you were aware of many of the horror tropes but not from exactly where. Maybe you should do, horror polls but in categories like hillbillies, slasher, paranormal etc.

Jordy's_Here!

Planes, Trains, and Automobiles is SUCH a great movie! One of my favorites of Steve Martins and John Candys. Since this one definitely isn't going to win the poll right now, I'd suggest giving it a shot around Thanksgiving time. It's one of the few movies that features a man trying to get home in time for Thanksgiving, so it sounds appropriate to watch around November 😁

Liquor & Swords

If you liked D&D, try Knights of Badassdom! A related but altogether different movie! :)

Meg K

I'm so sad Crazy Rich Asians (or even Zoolander) is losing this poll.. one of my all time favourite films. Sad to see the lack of love for it on this poll :(. Not a fan of Adam Sandler's movies (enjoyed them when they first came out and I was a kid, but like other's have said.. the comedy style definitely didn't stand the test of time), so disappointed I'll have to skip another movie. Will wait for the next poll!

Drew Acheson

Simone you keep threatening to make George watch You’ve Got Mail and I’m for that. However if you want to ease him into the rom com genre I think another good pick is When Harry Met Sally. It’s heavier on the comedy but does not lack the romance.

Brandon Meng

Sad to see Napoleon Dynamite losing this poll, I really hope you get around to watching eventually. It's so unique. Happy Gilmore is solid but The Waterboy is top tier Adam Sandler comedy while Punch Drunk Love and Uncut Gems are the obscure but great Adam Sandler movies definitely worth a watch if you ever decide to make an Adam Sandler-only poll.

Joanthan Skidmore

Well at least we know what the audience is like when Happy Gilmore beats Death of Stalin :D

Jade Richardson

Hey folks! New Patreon here, longtime YouTube subscriber! I’m here to advocate for the movie Donnie Darko. It has so much to say and was released at a time when it’s plot elements made it uncomfortable to audiences due to 9/11. It has a valuable message and would love to see Simone and George do a reaction this amazing movie. Thanks for having me and I value your attention. Enjoy the show!

Shibby

A few more suggestions (like you dont have enough lol) - Almost Famous (Coming of age story) - RocknRolla (Comedy like Snatch) - Minority Report (Tom Cruise, crime/thriller) - Kingdom of Heaven (Director's cut) - RED (Bruce Willis, comedy/action) - Sunshine (Sci-Fi)

Tim Boxall

Oh, now this was an incredibly hard pick - but for me it's gotta be the absolutely unique Napoleon Dynamite. It's in a class of its own, and also a lesser watched one on reaction channels, so gets my vote. Now I'm off to get my sketchbook and draw ligers while I hope for a win!

Chase Lonnergan

I'm gonna chime in with my usuals. Beverly Hills Cop 1&2 Short Circuit Clue The Count of Monte Cristo (2002) I was supposed to add another, but I forgetted it. I think it was supposed to be From Dusk til Dawn

JoeySnowyNoey

I hope you guys watch Chef one days. One of my favorite films of all time!

Michael Langille

Clue and Oscar are both awesome Tim Curry pics, jus sayin, :). Oscar has Stallone in it in a very different role.

LittleSillyGoose

Can someone please explain to me why Napoleon Dynamite is so popular? I don't understand.
