The thumbnail for this is pretty funny

Weird that a still image is giving me motion sickness

Boyan Konov

You should see the 4th one Jeremy Renner does a good job. The 5th one Is awful tho

Chris

Saw the car chase at waterloo being filmed here

About the surveillance bit on the reporter near the start - GCHQ (UK equivalent to NSA, sort of) use computer systems to pick out specific words or phrases of interest from phone calls, texts, emails, etc. from all over the place, then a person reviews the entire thing to see if it's actually worth pursuing. They've got agreements in place with people like the CIA or NSA, so "Blackbriar" would have flagged the system, and they'd know it's one to pass on to them. Allegedly.

This video ends very abruptly. I'm guessing something went wrong with the render and/or upload?

The brother was in the first movie.

Just something I notice in terms of practical fx, wouldn’t call it a pet peeve - how often people who get stabbed have blood coming from their mouth, which would only happen if they were stabbed in the lungs. (Not to take it there, but I’ve assisted with horror fx, so, that’s where my head is anyway.) Generally action movie injuries seem limited to something like broken ribs and gunshot wounds. When the range of injuries from these sequences would be so much greater. I appreciated that Keanu blew his ACL in Point Break, for example, other non-realism aside. Plenty of injuries would likely result that would be debilitating.

I tried to comment on Youtube, but my comment gets deleted/disappears immediately. I really don't know why... This was my comment: "George, at the end the video cuts out mid sentence. I'm sure that is not intentional. 20:50 Simone, yes, that is possible. Check out Moto trials."

The doctor is played by the late, great Albert Finney. Is the Book of Eli on your list.

Hm, strange. thanks for letting us know. We'll try to fix it asap. As for your comments on YT, we are not sure why as it contains no urls or keywords for YT to assume as bot spam for auto delete. Is your YT acc name same as your Patreon name? we can try to search to see if for whatever reason your account got autobanned. We've had to turn on all the anti spam tools YT provides lately due to the sheer amount of accounts pretending to be us, but these tools are nondiscriminating and casts a very wide net.

Yep, and I feel like Simone can be forgiven for thinking it was Brian Cox upon a quick glance. They do look fairly similar.

Says Wikipedia about ECHELON (which Pam mentions in the movie), "[A 2001 EU] report concludes that, on the basis of information presented, ECHELON was capable of interception and content inspection of telephone calls, fax, e-mail and other data traffic globally through the interception of communication bearers including satellite transmission, public switched telephone networks (which once carried most Internet traffic), and microwave links." It was definitely a topical subject at the time and added to the "this is about NOW" feel of the movie.

My absolute favorite installment of the original trilogy. The plotting is tighter with no wasted moments, there’s a bigger payoff with the reveals, and it boasts the best set piece in the rooftop chase. I still can’t believe the behind the back shot of Jason jumping down from a roof and through a window (nothing but net) trick camera shot. That camera man or woman is a badass whoever had to follow the stunt guy to get the shot.

Nate Gavin

that thumbnail capture is a perfect representation of the movie lol

Joel

I don't even have to see it again to remember the shot you're referring to, absolutely EPIC!!!!

8bitAndy

I like to think this thumbnail is what happens every time Simone tries to get George to watch a rom com or George tries to get Simone to watch a horror movie.

The CIA address is public. I don't know it off the top of my head, except that the headquarters is in Langley, Virginia.

Ginger

My favorite stupid thing in every movie and TV show is that whenever they operate on someone and take a bullet or some piece of metal out of the person they ALWAYS need to have a little metal tray to drop it in, just so you can hear it go "clink". Once you notice it, you can't unsee it. It always happens and makes no sense but to give the viewer this satisfying sound. xD Also the thing where they have to keep someone on the phone for a specific time while tracking the location, that's a pure Hollywood invention. Lastly, as LegalEagle pointed out, whenever a person is arrested in a movie and is told: "You get to make ONE phone call." That's not a thing, and why would it be?

Ginger

It's fine, nobody ever watches through the patron mentions at the end. xD

LJ

"You just got 'Bourne'd Again'" Oh my god I can't even

Ohmss

With your comments on action movie inaccuracies, you both really need to watch comedy The Other Guys!

“Dealing with books…and books are written already”. Not sure how Game of Thrones feels about that.

The Bourne Reactions 9:13 Simone: I've always trusted him. But that's because he's Matt Damon. Also Simone: https://youtu.be/lAMR-I8cAxA?t=783 [Spoiler!] 10:22 George: He totally just looks like a guy that robbed a dead body. Simone: That's like me... me: 😲 Simone: ... in any video game. me: Ah.

Andrew Charles

You did Rumble in Vancouver - I mean Bronx? Awesome! Can't wait.

Hey if you want to know more about what they think of movies at the CIA - George mentioned a question on what they think of these movies. Go to YouTube and look up CIA chief of disguise, she was incharge of the disguises department and her husband was the CIA agent the Movie “ Argo “ is about! Ben afflict played him and she did a bunch of reactions to reviewing accuracy in spy films lol worth looking up George! Hope today is better now that you and your thermostat have come to an understanding lol

Robert Cooper

I would just note, there may be a lot of Bourne books, but Identity, Supremacy, and Ultimatum are the ones by Ludlum. The rest are publisher cash grabs. These books are also among the first books I read for fun in 4th and 5th grade. They are fantastic. The movies kinda put them in a bit of a blender because of casting/production considerations, but they capture the vibe really well

elifalet gutierrez

Interesting, do you happen to know if the publisher created the IP and brought Ludlum on as a writer, one of those development deals where an author creates an IP for a publisher, or did he just sell the rights?

TokyoLopez

is it further outside realism like mission impossible 1 with the helicopter and train tho

Danika Silva

Am I the only person who wanted to see a movie that shows Nikki on the run?

Peter Dillard

The additional movies are worth doing but the Matt Damon one is more of a continuation of the story arc.

David Guin

Legacy is a fine action movie. However, it doesn't follow or continue the Jason Bourne story. It feels like someone was trying to capitalize on the Bourne name without paying for Marr Damon. Also, it is not like James Bond or Jack Ryan where some new actor takes over the character. Jason Bourne (2016) returns to the Jason Bourne saga (and Matt Damon ;) )

James Falato

Good Stuff... You're Fun To Follow... Following Matt Damon, "The Departed" from 2006 is a Good Film to React to...

Travis H

You know how in Looney Toons when Wile E Coyote would fall off a cliff he would stop and hold a sign saying yikes or help. Can we get George a sign saying “Ugh Shakey Cam” so he can continue to (rightfully) complain and not feel guilty about it. (And you should never feel guilty about saying you don’t like something)

Sheldon Pauls

It always bugs me when characters get shot in the shoulder and act like it's no worse than a razor cut. Very annoying.
