Final Destination 4 & Final Destination 5 - Patreon Version

As much as I don't think I'll like these movies I'm excited for a double feature!... Thanks guys

JediLounger

Well I know what I’m doing for the next 3 hours, responsibilities be dammed lol. Edit: George is an alcoholic, the blue book is the AA book he has. The coin he was playing with while looking at the cognac was a anniversary token, a year or more would be my guess. He was pondering taking a drink before making the various attempts but decided against it. Edit 2: the arms with hooks are from the second one. The lady on the elevator.

Ph4ZeD

Yay I was hoping you’d finish the series, silly fun is always good! Now if only you’d finish off the Aliens series with Alien 3 :)

FrancescoTakesItEasy

A double feature? Noice! With the despicable worst (4), and the very surprising best one (5) of the franchise. Off work in 75 minutes, very excited.

Jay

Ah you legends! I can skip my least favourite, might watch the YT edit, and go straight to my favourite of the series. The Final Destination was supposed to be the last one, hence the title, but I think they realized it wasn't up to standard so made another one. Pretty sure a 6th one is on the way now.

Kevin Knadle

Last night I was thinking, "When are they going to finish Final Destination?"

Prof. Writhms

Simone and George, you guys have to watch "The Omen" trilogy (1976-1981) and see the original horror movie, where the victims were "accidentally" killed by a supernatural force.

Cincassette

Have you guys watched the "Scream" movies yet?

Logan Kerlee

xD Love this comment. hahahaha, nothing to say at all but there's an exclamation! lol, this comment made my morning. :) Thank you!

D Andrew

Not unless you can get the Director of Scream to agree to come on the channel for an interview

JokerDanny

Elvis (2022) and The Menu are 2 great movies for future reactions

Odd Thomas

Resident Evil is coming?! Yassss! The fourth one is the best one imo

Lou Gallucci

For the hospital guy, it's simple. Without the vision he's dead. With the vision he lived - so he had to go. Whatever else crazy shenanigans they put in these those are base rules.

Logan Kerlee

Watching this with you both was so much fun! xD I was cracking up laughing a time or two throughout. The fifth one is definitely the best and the fourth the worst. I'm definitely looking forward to the sixth! :)

Odd Thomas

The cinema movie footage in 4 is actually taken from The Long Kiss Goodnight (both are New Line movies) and it is one of the best 90s movies! By the writer of Lethal Weapon. Highly recommend it!

This was the only Final Destination I saw at the theater, that twist ending was so great! I did see one reactor on youtube who totally guessed the ending, I was so disappointed. Also, I can't find it, but I saw a video once where an expert said that this was the most realistic depiction of how a suspension bridge might collapse.

David N

Love the new format guys! Can't wait for saw 2 & 3 next!

AC10

Double Movie Post!?!?!?! Wow.... I don't think I've ever seen this before.

AC10

Side question..... What PC setup does Simone and George have??? Does anyone here know? (Oh for the love of fluffy puppy butts...... Please don't let it be a Mac....)

Gary Fixler

Simple fix for the squeaky couch: plunge the entire thing in a vat of oil. Also, sorry, I'm already used to this (2 movies in one).

Gary Fixler

I have about 10 pillows on my bed and it's so comfy and I'm not apologizing to any of you.

Jay

The 5th one is great and not just because of the ending (I saw it in the cinema, definitely clocked the old school phone but never saw that ending coming). You watch these films mainly for the death scenes and the opening disaster, the gymnast folding up, the asshole at the massage parlour, the lasik, the spanner in the face...... they're all great. And while I don't love Tom Cruise going psycho, I appreciate they were trying something different. Definitely my favourite of the series. Only watched the edit for 4, uggghhh, still don't like that one. The effects look bad in 2009. Consider 'Candyman' for October if you want to see Tony Todd's most iconic role.

Gary Fixler

I think George was trying to think of the touring Body Worlds exhibit, where they display actual cut up human bodies. I went to that in LA with my 2 friends, a married couple who had been on a 2-week fast/cleanse, only having occasional sips of sugar water. They had also been vegetarians for many years, but at one display - an arm that had been sliced like deli meat and arranged on a light table, looking remarkably like prosciutto - she said "OMG, this is making me so hungry." Apparently at least some vegetarians still crave meat, if they get hungry enough.

Monica Alarcon

Thanks for the ride, it made my afternoon... I must have rewatched your reaction to the reveal in the fifth one like 30 times...

Jonah

I'm almost in tears. Simone realizing she goes on a road trip after every final destination viewing, and it's true. I remember her mentioning it multiple times so far. Especially in the highway pileup scene. LOL omg that realization just caught me off guard. lmao

Buhr

I regret to inform you George that the pool filter sucking out intestines of people who get stuck on them is not an urban legend. It has happened a handful of times but the one I remember was Valerie Lakey in 1993. I happened to be on vacation with my family at the time and I remember being super scared of the pool drains that trip.

Jonah

I'm honestly upset, I had no idea how dogwater the 4th film was, and I rented it before I heard your intro about the producer even saying you should skip it, I defintely would have, but aye, you guys made it better, having others to laugh at how bad most parts was, was a treat. But now I gotta wait till tomorrow to watch 5 with you guys. lol

djKENTO

Look I know 3D is a big joke because a bunch of movies that didn’t need it and weren’t shot for it ruined the entire concept in a shitty money grab… this is not one of those films. The steady camera work, lack of rapid cuts and planned stunts made all the 3D photography really sing in this film. Yes it’s excessive with the cork, but that’s kinda the point right? They know that’s silly. They know that’s gonna get a laugh, a chuckle from the audience and it works. I think 3D has a place in modern cinema but the movie needs to be MADE for 3D. You plan your shots, you steady your camera work, you plan your edits and cuts ahead of time and you’ll get a solid 3D experience. One of the biggest issues is actually editing. Every time they cut to a different focal length it forces the audience to adjust their depth perception and that gets super tiring on the eyes because you don’t do that in real life. This is such a solid 3D experience. I’m glad I have it.

Cinebinge should be invited to the Final Destination 6 premiere. Actually, they should have a small part in the movie, if it's not too late. Get on it, Craig!

FranciscoGios

This is why I’m still a Patreon, you guys are so fun watching movies with that are quirky or misaligned; but I do like 1 & 5. If you guys were paying attention when Isaac was going thru the drawers in the office the gift certificate was dated 6/30/01 that was supposed to be your first clue. I was gonna say watch Candyman 1992 with Tony Todd, but I haven’t seen the 2020 version maybe pick that one?

IncredibleBulk

ok, i need to know whats george and simones favourite chick flicks. ive gotta try convert them to 3D and see what point a 3d chick flick has

Mark McKeown

The reveal at the end of 5 is amazing, as was your reaction to it!

Mark McKeown

The phone is the only real giveaway IMO, however “discount John Oliver” does seem the seem to have an old phone anyway so it kinda fit. The most interesting part for me is Tony Todd’s character said he’s since this before, so I wonder just how long this stuff has been going on. Excited for whenever FD6 comes out!

Will Moffett

This series is a whole new level of campy

Chase Schleich

OMG what was that constant squeaking sound coming from Simone's side?! It was so loud!!

Keerit Thind

I enjoyed Final Destination when it was first released. I scrubbed through a couple of the sequels just for the "Final Destinations". But, I didn't think more of it was necessary for the unnecessary dialogue and cringe acting. This may end up being a fun watch. Amazing job. Also, also please finish It Chapter Two. Chapter One made an obscene amount of money, Chapter Two made less (still an obscene for a mid budget R rated horror film) and doesn't get the respect it deserves. It is the better of the two (pun not intended).

Logan Kerlee

That shit's insane. Yikes! I figured that it may've had some grain of truth to it but not the entire thing.. wow! That's straight terrifying!

silverarrow06

Yes please, I would very much like to watch you two reacting to "IT - Chapter II". It has a great cast - Jessica Chastain, James McAvoy, Bill Hader - and is at least as good as the first one. And even scarier, imo. 😱

REDR58

Late to the party with this one, but IMAX 3D, real IMAX and usually 4DX can look very good as long as the 3D wasn’t an afterthought and the screen is nice and bright.

REDR58

And just catching up again with FD5, regarding the eye procedure, I’ve been wearing glasses since the 3rd grade which was…some time ago and I can’t even consider wearing contact lenses, Nevermind laser surgery. Nothing, ever, EVER goes in my eyes. Ever. :)

Jacob Vallier

I remember in the theater when the organs popped out of the screen, a guy behind me shouted “holy shit.”

Michael Kemmet

FD4 Lori: "It's okay, it's just a dream" Nick: "It seemed real." George: "It didn't." :D :D Savage and amazing. 5/5 stars. lol
