I remember seeing this in the theater, a dude walks in with like, a couple 11 year old boys with him. I assume he expected it to be as (moderately) kid friendly as Ricky Bobby. Once those balls plopped down onto that drum kit, however, he realized he'd made a terrible mistake. Needless to say, they did not stay for the full movie.

The conversion about him wanting to be a dinosaur was not scripted. The director went up to him on a break and say go up to them and tell them you want to be a dinosaur. He did and the response from the two was dead serious. No you cant was actually a on the spot response and the confused look was real.

So, George, since you asked: with fantasy sports, you get like, 8-12 teams in a league, and have a draft where you select players. I'll go with the NFL since I just had a fantasy draft there. You do maybe 15 or 16 rounds usually, and pick players at certain positions you think are going to have big seasons statistically. Each week, your team matches up against another team, and you get points for what your guys do in terms of statistical categories (6 points for a touchdown, 1 point for every 10 rushing yards, -1 point for a fumble, etc). Whichever team has the higher point total wins, so you keep win/loss standings, there are eventually playoffs, and you crown a league champion. I've seen it essentially described as "Dungeons & Dragons for jocks" and honestly, that's about the best way to describe it.

What's funny is the " prosthetic " used on the drum set, Will Ferrell actually kept it lol if you go to YouTube I believe it's the Dan Patrick show he actually brought it to it a few months ago. Apparently it's hyper realistic haha
