Ah no worries, George. Whatever suits you best.

Lola Lirola

I'm just glad you enjoyed some time with your dad. Thank you for including us in it a bit!

Neal Riggins

Y'all are awesome. Can't wait to drive into this one. Loved the first one with your dad.

Jeff K

I'm so happy to hear you watched Chef with your dad. Can't wait to see that one.

Mikael Brink Frederiksen

Even without BOB that is a hell of a schedule for you both, so cudos for prioritising quality time with your dad 👍

Martin

Fury is a very tough watch.

Sam Hill

This is fantastic stuff, seriously interesting to see his thoughts on films like these, no worries about not doing BOB you’re already giving us a lot!

Daniel Dawson

We are fortunate to have these interesting and sobering insights from your Dad and his experience during war. It's great that so many appreciated the Saving Private Ryan reaction and no doubt this will be the same.

Russ Verbofsky

Gunny Hartman's opening speech to the recruits in FMJ should be an interesting translate to Cantonese. :P

Troy Ross

Excellent! This is the film I was interested in seeing you and your father react to, George.

Dazzler & Em

It's cool that you are getting to spend time with you dad, outside of reacting. That's the priority and anything else is a bonus for us.

Young Blood Priest

George it was good to hear your dad’s expertise on this movie but I hope it wasn’t too much for him. I would have liked you two to watch The Pacific instead of Band of Brothers but now I think something more lighthearted would be better.

George...never watched a reaction, with you and your Dad. But Fury is a favorite, and I couldn't pass it up. Glad I did! Sure...from a "reaction" POV, I miss Simone...and you guys maybe did not quite "absorb" certain "good" parts, the way you might have; because of the "sharing". But your Dad's experience and perspective, made it great...in a different way.

Brian Gislason

This is absolutely brilliant. Your father's perspective is incredible. I can't even imagine what he has been through.

Jobbe Smit

I feel a little bad having the man relive some of those memories but it's a very insightful reaction. I feel all of us, especially your dad, deserves a solid war comedy if he's up for a next time. Really solid subtitles too btw. It's clear this whole production required quite a bit of effort on all parties. So for that I thank you.

George… Your father’s memory is slightly faulty… or it’s possible the Chinese Army did not use tracers in their ammo. You described the tracer fire in the film as almost looking like lasers and assumed it was exaggerated for movie audiences and your father stated that the rounds would not be visible, just the muzzle flash. The depiction of tracer fire in the film is actually pretty accurate. As the film properly stated… every fifth round on a belt of ammo was a tracer round… this was to help the gunner walk rounds. Tracer rounds have a coating of a special kind of paint on the tip of the round that burns off at high velocity when fired, leaving a trail of color so the shooter can see exactly where the round is going. So yeah, it can look like Star Wars style blaster fire… and, at a high enough rate of fire, can almost look like a beam of light.
