The last weekly polls winner The Blair Witch Project, which will be available this Saturday. Since Lost in Translation came so close, we will be doing it too and it should be available about 1 week after Blair Witch is posted. Until then here are SOME of the films recommended by you guys. Remember, you can vote for multiple films!Reminder: movies that don't win does not mean they will never be watched, it just means they will be watched later. Please be respectful to each others opinions, we're all just here to have fun and watch movies :)

Big Fish is a forgotten gem.

GnolRevilo

Bridge to Terabithia. God damn that movie wrecked me when I was young.

Sir Dongle

Yes Mars Attacks! Made the list!!!

DemNikoArt

Mars Attacks is just too absurd to not to watch! :D Also stellar cast!!!

JakeyShakeyBakeyBoy

Tommy Boy for Farley’s genius and Spade’s sarcasm; Mars Attacks for the cast and satire and Neverending Story for the song haha

Rash Bandicoot

Isn't The Whale pretty much just a Big Fish?

Sir Dongle

Another random gem I remembered the other day is Drop Dead Gorgeous. Great Cast, love the mockumentary style. Also a huge fan of Christopher Guest and would love to see them react to Best in Show and Waiting for Guffman if they haven't seen them before. Especially with the latter being an adaptation of Waiting for Godot

Kenny 240

Tommy Boy is a great laugh, and I think they’ll have a great time with it. Neverending Story was one of my childhood favorites. I don’t know how well it holds up today, but there are parts that I think will certainly get a reaction.

Robb

Everest 2015 needs to be on a poll please

Chase Lonnergan

I've said this before... But all of us that are voting for The Neverending Story are monsters. We know that, right?

Maikeru Dagurasu

Guys, like my comment so that maybe The Game (1997) makes it on one of the future polls^^ ... also I´m still waiting for A Beautiful Mind (2001) and The Hours (2003) since I started watching G&S in sept 2022. They also need to watch Falling Down (1993) and Kevin VS Frodo in The Good Son (1993).

paul rai

As fellow Canadians you should do right by Brendan Fraiser and watch The Whale (I believe he’s the first Canadian actor to win Best Actor at the Oscars).

QuiGon_Jim (Howe)

'Road to Perdition', 'The Banshees of Inisherin' and 'There Will Be Blood'. I promise I won't spam it every week but those films are my goal on this channel. Each one is different, but brilliant (imo).

Wilss

Tommy Boy since there have been 2 movies recently with Chris Farley, and you haven't known who he is. So it's about time you did.

Cisko

Seconded for Road to Perdition and The Game - I think you’d enjoy both of those!

Florian

I recommend some space horror. Sunshine and Event Horizon

PickettsChargingPort

Wow. Neck and neck between two great movies. Never Ending Story was my jam when I was a kid. I remember going to the theater to see it.

Random Nevermind

Two random recomendations under the random poll: VVitch (2015) - Very nice and slow horror. Creepy and beautiful. Ted (2012) - Fun to watch comedy about a bear. Goes perfectly with a beer.

Ancient_Red_Dragon

Big FIsh is actually my favorite Movie Tim Burton has made. It is so whimsical but heartfelt and touching.

Maikeru Dagurasu

2 gems with James Belushi: Curly Sue (1991) and Retroactive (1997)

michael clarke

never ending story has a real chance. come on people, admit to yourself that mars attacks has no real plot and do the right thing lol.

Tim T—

It's a new year, so some of my recommendations from last year, redux: Das Boot (The Boat, 1981, 1997 DC) Brazil (1985) Downfall (2004) Gattaca (1997) Gosford Park (2001) L’Auberge Espagnole (2002) Le Grand Bleu (The Big Blue, 1988) Kelly's Heroes (1970) Orlando (1992) Ronin (1998) Ronja Rövardottar (Ronja Robbersdaughter, 1984) The Beach (2000) The Fisher King (1991) The Last Emperor (1987) The Name of The Rose (1986) The Right Stuff (1983) Toni Erdmann (2016) Tremors (1990)

Dahjanira Arbelo-Crespo

Hmm, have anyone suggested /have you done Somewhere in time with Christopher Reeves and Jane Seymour 🤔?... its such a great and super underrated movie

TD

Thank you for watching Super Troopers! Can I recommend watching Beerfest by the same group? They play different roles, and Far a isn't so annoying lol There is also Super Troopers 2 which they end up working with Canadian law enforcement.

Inkpendude

I have never seen neverending story so im voting for that one

Justin Koch

Wow. If and when you watch Big Fish have a whole case of tissues ready for Simone. Hell, and for George also. Its a GREAT but tough movie to get through.

The Gunslinger

Could you cover Oblivion? It's a brilliant sci fi movie with Tom Cruise. And a beautiful score from M83.

michael clarke

suggestion: i had to watch killers of the flower moon for work last night. was cautious going in, assumed it was going to be another pocahontas situation, ended up really loving the performances. especially the lead Lily Gladstone. its almost impossible how much her pain becomes your own as you watch it.

PIG

“and his name… was ATREYU”

Dirge Girl

Ravenous (1999) Dark City [Director's Cut] (1998) Event Horizon (1997) The Frighteners (1996) 12 Monkeys (1995) Airheads (1994) So I Married an Axe Murderer (1993) Bram Stoker's Dracula (1992) Hudson Hawk (1991) Arachnophobia (1990) 8D>

Mikebdrx

Really happy to see Big Fish back on a Poll it’s really a great movie. I had to vote for It and Never Ending Story. That level of trauma will stick with you for the rest of your life . Sorry Simone.

Dechevalier

Tried voting for Big Fish, but it kept switching to either Bridge or Mars. Leaving it on Mars, but it's Big Fish in my heart 😔

Dechevalier

Also, if y'all haven't done Falling Down, I'd like to throw that into the ring at some point 😁

Jay

The Neverending Story came 3rd on a poll a few months ago, so shouldn't it just be on the watchllist then? (Same with The Menu FYI)

Kim Jong-un

You should watch "Intouchables", a french movie.

Robert Davenport

Super Cult classic, hilarious (both intentionally and unintentionally) and not a ton of reactions for it - "Berry Gordy's The Last Dragon" Bow before Sho'Nuff! The Shogun of Harlem!

TomGas2025

Maybe you could consider to watch either the 13th Warrior or Brotherhood of Wolves. Underrated classic movies which are just great...

Astraeos

Mars Attacks is one of the best movies ever. Super unique, super hilarious, super Tim Burton. Well, not necessarily in looks, but I'd say the story and the humor and everything else are very Tim Burton.

Senec

Nobody (2021)

j c

I wouldn't advise The Neverending Story, as the title is a blatant lie. It's not even 2 hours!

YourBigBut

Where are George's Glasses!? He Can't see without his Glasses!

Fattydoe

Toughestvpoll ive seen in awhile. These are all bangers

Mr D

Tommy boy deserves it

MotoDork

I wonder if these guys have seen Kick-Ass or the director’s cut of Watchmen

Hovila

When are you gonna do "Johnny English" movies? You've mentioned many times how you'd like to watch more Rowan Atkinson and I'm positive those movies would tickle you the right way! Or just (cine)binge watch Man vs Bee from Netflix and spend hours trying to figure out how to edit it for youtube. :E The show is 9 episodes, each about 10 minutes long. Whoever reads this, have a good day!

overdev

recently I watched My Girl, pretty underrated movie

Sam Ferguson

Honestly, these are all pretty solid flicks that I think you'll both enjoy. But 'Mars Attacks' is epically, legendarily stupid and hilarious. I guarantee you'll love it.

John

Simone/George: if others agree, I kindly petition or request for you to consider adding more (15 max) movies to the polls, especially the randomized/genre-less ones, since some of these mixes are all over the place and I'd bet you get better feedback as to what will get better views and what to add to other following polls thereafter. Also, Prisoners and other dramas/thrillers would be a nice change, and came 3rd in poll not too long ago, so hopefully you can add that to more random or suspense polls. Otherwise, thanks for all you do!

Ethan Holgate

Mars Attacks is winning Hallelujah 🙌

OldBeardedGuyReacts

Some real bangers on this one. Big Fish is not winning here, but I really hope you guys get to it at some point.

Happy Hanukkah

Mars Attacks and Big Fish would make for an interesting Tim Burton bookends selection.

Hathaum

Keeps removing my vote :(

streaky

Growing up a buddy of mine Tommy Boy was his absolute favourite movie, so I've seen it a lifetime's worth of times despite not really particularly liking it (not that I hate it either) so that one's a nope from me :p

Sir Dongle

Also want to throw Grandma's Boy & Gamer out there. Completely different in tone but both really enjoyable, and center around gaming. But maybe they've already seen them

Jason Rivero

Wow, really? Mars Attacks! is winning over Big Fish in a Tim Burton-off? I 've tried to get through Mars Attacks! so many times but it's just so meh. Big Fish, on the other hand, is a masterpiece. Probably my fav of Burton's films along with Edward Scissorhands.

Sir Dongle

Just mentioned John Leguizamo in another comment and it IMMEDIATELY reminded me that I would love to see them react to To Wong Foo, Thanks for Everything! Julie Newmar. A Lesser known Gem! Patrick Swayze, Wesley Snipes, and John Leguizamo

Sir Dongle

Gotta throw this out there Everytime as well: FROM DUSK TILL DAWN. One of the craziest movies of all time when it comes to the midpoint twist. One I genuinely think nobody could EVER possibly predict unless it's been spoiled for them

Skyruff Creative

I usually try to suggest movies that might fit on your list but… random indeed. This list hints at the thousands of high quality movies you have yet to review. Random suggestions “three days of the condor”, “Once Bitten”, “reality bites”, and “Gunmen”1993

Skyruff Creative

For Simone, a must see “The Thomas Crown Affair” (1999)

Chris LeBlanc

Secondhand Lions, just a thought.

Tyler L

Would love to see you guys react to any of the following movies this year! The Departed Prisoners Annihilation Doctor Sleep The Place Beyond the Pines

Thomaz Chagas

Some suggestions: - Almost Famous (2000) - Big Fish (2003) - Make sure Simone is hydrated before watching.

Robinson vs. Parkinson's

Week 2 recommending these three great films from writers/ directors you guys both enjoy. 1:LEGENDS OF THE FALL, directed by Edward Zwick (Last Samurai). Stars Brad Pitt and Anthony Hopkins 2:THE LAST OF THE MOHICANS, directed by Michael Mann (Heat, Collateral). Stars Daniel Day-Lewis and Madeline Stowe. 3:TRUE ROMANCE, written by Quentin Tarantino, directed by Tony Scott (Man on Fire, Top Gun). Starring literally everyone , Christian Slater, Patricia Arquette, Gary Oldman (as a rastafarian pimp and drug dealer), Dennis Hopper, Christopher Walken, Brad Pitt (as Floyd, the stoner on the couch), Val Kilmer (as imaginary Elvis), James Gandolfini, Samuel L. Jackson, Michael Rapaport, Chris Penn, Tom Sizemore and Bronson Pincho.

p0sthum4n

Just wanna repeat my usual suggestion for 2005'S KINGDOM OF HEAVEN by Ridley Scott — a spiritual followup to Gladiator, following a man-become-knight and his journey to and adventures within the Kingdom of Jerusalem between the Second and Third Crusades. It has a stellar cast, a beautiful soundtrack, and an almost painterly quality to its cinematography. I've recommended it before and will do so again. It is absolutely critical that you watch the Director's Cut and not the theatrical release if you watch it at all. The version on Amazon Prime includes an intermission, your favorite feature ;)

Johen Kay

What are these movies :(. I'd vote for Doctor Sleep.

Dioskur

Never Ending STory is such a classic! And so few channels did it!

PostMan

Big Fish should be a film watched by George and his dad. But you will both cry on screen. Be aware of that.

Chase Lonnergan

I say it every time The Neverending Story comes up, and I will continue to say it EVERY time The Neverending Story comes up: If you want to watch an excellent 80s fantasy film with a shitload of Jim Henson creatures in it and a memorable theme song, you watch Labyrinth, not The Neverending Trauma Scene.

Spacedone

A few more suggestions: - Spotlight (2015) - Bad Times at the El Royale (2018) - The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (2009 Swedish original) - Dolemite Is My Name (2019) - Extraction (2020) - Get Carter (1971) - Slap Shot (1977) - Sneakers (1992) - The Longest Yard (1974) - The 13th Warrior (1999) - Inside Man (2006) - Porky's (1981)

sarCC

Just gonna recommend POPSTAR: NEVER STOP NEVER STOPPING, a mockumentary that's a spiritual cousin to THIS IS SPINAL TAP. It's incredibly hilarious.

Michael Buhl

Please, please, please watch Network (1976)!

Jacob King

Little people, why can’t we all just get along?

BoredLittleLady

My random recommendation: Instructions Not Included (2013)

Beddoe

I hope for February/Valentine's Season you will consider 'Harold & Maude' (1971). Also +1 for 'Slap Shot'.

Thirty Year Old Mulberry Field

Consider coming back to some of Tarantino’s films with “The Hateful 8” (a personal favorite during the winter season) and “Death Proof”. Or also the couple of flix he wrote but didn’t direct during the 90s, “True Romance” and “From Dusk till Dawn”.

G P

Amadeus or Bram Stoker's Dracula (1992) are awesome and should be checked out soon!

Jonathan

Oh my gosh, Mars Attacks made the list! Yes!

Jay Davis

Labyrinth or Legend (1985) would be worthy alternatives for 80s fantasy fare. But I still think The NeverEnding Story is a must watch. That's where I come out. That's what I'm voting. But I won't cry (too much) if Mars Attacks! wins either.

Brandon Meng

My Girl is really the only option here for me. My recommendations (in this order): Perks of Being a Wallflower Manchester by the Sea Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri Life is Beautiful Little Miss Sunshine Gran Torino Cheers!

Jonah

Hey George and Simone! I have a question, and I'm not sure where this is best suited so I'll post it here. But I'm curious if you guys take donations to do specific reactions or anything like that, or if there is a way to request a movie. I have 2 movies in mind that would likely never win a poll only because if put up against classics, not enough people would know and chose them over some cult classics. So I'm curious if there's a way I can request one, or even both after a while. Thanks! hope to hear from you. Any response is appreciated!

Eddy

If you're going to watch Legend (1985) in my opinion please watch the Theatrical Version. You may later want to watch the Director's Cut, but for a movie reaction please choose the theatrical version since it has the original soundtrack. In the Director's Cut they added some scenes which is good, but also deleted and altered other scenes which took away from the story. However both versions are good and should be watched.

Studio

Chris Farley needs some love. Tommy Boy for me.

sol stapleton

couple of recommendations: Monty python's the meaning of life the lighthouse (2019) Mandy (2018) the french dispatch

Rooster Aleution

I would like to see them react to Red & Red 2 and/or Now You See Me & Now You See Me 2. They would love the humor, action, and great actors in both of those movie series.

Simon Pegged Me

I'd recommend these for future reactions: Big Night, The Great Escape, and The Mexican.

Roxolan

My usual recs: - Brazil (1985, sci-fi dystopian dark comedy) - The Game (1997, mystery thriller) - Pleasantville (1998, earnest comedy-drama-scifi) - Hero (2002, colourful atmospheric wuxia) - Annihilation (2018, cosmic horror)

Alex Ch

Ended up with three votes this time - Big Fish, because it’s amazing; Tommy Boy, because it’s the reaction I’d enjoy most among this polls contenders; and My Girl, because I feel like the potential audience for that is probably underrepresented in our Patreon community. An eclectic group of options for us!

simon brouillard

While not my favourite, mars attack will be a great reaction, its a weird bunkers movie, and also, there will be blood 🩸😋

Max Krause

I'm really rooting for Mars Attack(s)! It's just such a goofy good time full of old timey SciFi stuff. Also hoping that The Death of Stalin will get watched at some point. I think it was on a poll some time ago? I guarantee you guys will love it!

dieselbeast

Hopefully Tommy boy comes in close enough second so they can react to it sometime soon 😁🙏

David Zabel

Stuff the ballot box for Tommy Boy.

VariantsWatchMovies

Let’s get The Sting on your list with Paul Newman and Robert Redford.

Joseph Bateman

Yay Tommy Boy! "What did you do!?" 🤣🤣🤣 Might as well throw in Black Sheep also if you end up watching Tommy Boy. You can't watch one without the other 🙏🏽

tundra

Few Suggestions... Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels(1998) Drugstore Cowboy(1989) Looper(2012) Ender's Game(2013)

Tay Goodson

Insanity that Mars Attacks is ahead of Big Fish

Dan Holmes

Please check out Running Scared 2006 as you will absolutely lose your minds lol

Maarten Martens

The day Big Fish will be on the channel will be a glorious day. I think Simone in particular will love it.

Pajander

Once Upon a Time in the West (1968)

Jobbe Smit

Shame Big Fish isn't doing that great because that's such a good movie for them. But at least it sees we're getting Mars Attack!

Dazzler & Em

Couple of quick recommendations, the Lighthouse ( 2019), a truely insane and beyond good film. Stars Willem Dafoe and is bonkers beyond belief. Barbarian(2022), outstanding horror film. Evil dead(2013) and evil dead rises. Dog Soldiers. Nobody(similar to John Wick).

theedgeinshow

You seem to have accidentally misspelled Buckaroo Banzai

Justin Hunt

How is The Whale not winning?!?!

Tay Schumaker

I'm always surprised how much people like Mars Attacks. I figured Tommy Boy would win this easily. I'll put in another plug for The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford. I know it will never win a poll, but hoping they might do it as one of their picks. Stunning cinematography and maybe one of my top 5 favorite films. So well acted and directed.

Lyonheart86(BryonH)

nominating " A Knights Tale" Im actually surprised you havent been able to watch that yet here

Jeff Norwood-Brown

Are there any films that have been on recent polls that you haven’t watched? Asking for my friend. PAUL.

Om

There are a thousand reactions out there to Mars Attacks. There are hardly any for Never Ending story. Plus... Never ending story is so much more touching.

Kyle Style

PLEASE WATCH BIG FISH!!

JakeToll

Holy Schnikes!!

Chase Schleich

Tommy Boy is a close enough 2nd that it should be added to the schedule as well. Mars Attacks and Tommy Boy in the same week would be AWESOME!

Samuel Eng

wow... its like no one wants to get traumatized by Bridge to Terabithia again.... devastating childhood movie.... still loved it.

Jinyatta

As much as I enjoy Tommy Boy, I had to pick The Neverending Story, because I really want to see George's face explode with childlike wonder.

Stanislav Marinov

it's not on this list but I'd like to throw it in anyway - have you guys seen Pi (1998)

Seahag

Super happy Mars and Tommy Boy will both probably be picked, but you gotta put Neverending Story back up in the near future. One of my favorite films as a kid(although Gmork terrified the heck out of me) and the animatronics and makeup are still amazing. Also probably required watching if you like Stranger Things haha

JoeE

Would recommend talented Mr Ripley, dog day afternoon, dazed and confused

Sir Dongle

SUPER RANDOM, But I would love to see them react to the Sister Act duo of movies, and Undercover Brother

ניר תל אור

Here are some movies I think you should watch: The Rope Psycho The birds Vertigo North by Northwest The Man Who Knew Too Much Edward Scissorhands Ed Wood Little Shop of Horrors Ghost Busters 2 Gremlins 2 Rocky 3 Rocky 4 Face/Off Memento Minority Report AI:Artificial Intelligence War of the Worlds The Hateful Eight The Social Network

G P

Seconding most of the list above, but specifically Ed Wood (Tim Burton's best film after Beetlejuice) and Little Shop of Horrors

David Zabel

I know it finished second but I implore you to also do Tommy Boy.

Jeremy

I know it isn't leading, but Big Fish should really be in your que at some point. It is a fantastic movie with a great cast.

Ricardo Alanis

There'll definitely be some moments where the shaky cam will be bad for George but I'm looking forward to Blair Witch!

Smooticus

Damnit. I joined a day after the poll ended How odes one make movie suggestions anyway?

Klaspers

I think you would really enjoy Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. The books are legendary in sci-fi comedy, and the movie adaptation is great imo, with a stellar cast: Martin Freeman, Zooey Deschanel, Alan Rickman, Sam Rockwell, Mos Def, Bill Nighy, John Malkovich etc. and of course some fine narration by Stephen Fry.

Steven Cavanagh

I always wonder how Neverending Story never wins these polls. then I remember that bit.
