The last weekly polls winner was The Abyss, which will be available this Saturday. Until then here are SOME of the films recommended by you guys. Remember, you can vote for multiple films!Reminder: movies that don't win does not mean they will never be watched, it just means they will be watched later. Please be respectful to each others opinions, we're all just here to have fun and watch movies :)

beefjerkywizard

Good list. I'll be happy with any direction this goes. Some recommendations: In the name of the Father, The Count of Monte Cristo (2002), The Burbs

JakeyShakeyBakeyBoy

Tremors was a big deal with a bunch of direct to video sequels in a very short time. But Mike Wazowski, Sully and Boo are hard to say no to in Monsters Inc

JH138138

Eight legged freaks would have been a better option than arachnophobia😒

DonkyDave

Automatic vote for Tremors, gieb moar Bacon

Matthew Brown

Omg yes yes tremors my childhood horror movie and also same Director who made this movie also made city slickers another movie you 2 would love ❤️

ShōNuff3K

My two favorites are in last place! 🥺

Scott S.

Hell, I like all those movies, so easy to pick them all

auto

I don't think monster is actually a monster movie

GnolRevilo

Monsters Inc. One of the best animated films of all time.

Jeff K.

Tremors! Please for the love of Cthulhu, let Tremors win. Arguably the best modern day B-(monster) movie.

droodly

A monsters poll on Lincoln’s Birthday and no Gremlins 2!?! BLASPHEMY! Good list anyway :)

nossieboy

Omg almost voted for all of them. Ultimately will go with Tremors and American Werewolf in London. Reign of Fire never gets covered alongside Dragonheart though hope it gets a viewing down the road.

Kage

Tremors. Hellllllll yeah.

Scott S.

But is monster a traditional monster film

DemNikoArt

Tremors is soooo much fun!!! But one is missing that unfortunately is not on many people's lists: "Love & Monsters". Super fun monster comedy with a lot of heart. With Dylan O'Brian & Michael Rooker. Has similar vibes to Zombieland I would say.

Random Nevermind

Recommendation. Two movies with some monsters featured: Silent Hill, Evolution.

Oliver piercey

How'd you guys leave off eight legged freaks (2001)

Random Nevermind

Also voted for Monsters inc and Tremors. Those two are superb.

Martin

One of these movies is not like the others.

dudewheresmycar

Of everything listed, Tremors is the most gleeful outrageous fun monster movie!

Michael

I would vote for Monsters Inc. except that I, personally, don't really have interest in any of the reactions where one of them had already seen it, so Tremors it is! A lot of fun options here. Also, Monster (2003) is not a monster movie, it's a true crime movie; maybe you meant to put Gareth Edward's (Godzilla 2014, Rogue One, The Creator) debut, Monsters (2010)?

auto

King kong (2005) is so good 👍

Ethan Holgate

Can't wait for the Abyss reaction phenomenal intense movie my favourite Jim Cameron movie also his 1st under water movie also reminder make sure it's the special edition version but I'm sure many have mentioned that by now

Mastervodo

Would love to see these 2 react to the best spider movie ever.

Karen A

An American Werewolf in London. My all time favorite. It holds up still to this day! I watched it recently and it was still exciting and tense and those effects are still awesome!!!! You won't regret it!

Jon Johns

King Kong is very very close to the original 30's version of the film. It has practically nothing to do with the current monster verse, and would be a great movie to watch to learn what the world knew about Kong b4 the modern stuff. Plus, it's peter friggin Jackson? Jack black? Great film! Beautiful! The story will let you know why this franchise has endured, has been 'copied' and why some are grumpy about the modern stuff. But, if 2005 Kong is a "refresh" of the original, it's a perfect pairing for Godzilla: Minus One. 🤣 (I cannot help myself from preaching how good G:-1.0 is 🥰)

Adam K

Just so we are clear - Monster isn’t a “monster” movie. It’s a great movie and has my vote (along with Arachnophobia) but definitely the wrong category

Ben

A copy & paste of my last comment of suggestions ... ⦁ 'North by Northwest' (1959) ⦁ 'Labyrinth' (1986) ⦁ 'Dirty Rotten Scoundrels' (1988) ⦁ 'Dead Poets Society' (1989) ⦁ 'Parenthood' (1989) ⦁ 'Toy Story' (1995) ⦁ 'One Hour Photo' (2002) ⦁ 'Little Miss Sunshine' (2006) Also, as St. Patrick's Day is approaching in a few weeks, would you consider watching an Irish film to mark the occasion? I'd like to suggest one of the releases by the Irish animation studio 'Cartoon Saloon', perhaps 'Song of the Sea' or 'Wolf Walkers'. Thanks!

Gareth Turner

Suggestion for another similar list - Eight Legged Freaks. Very early ScarJo and a very B-movie camp vibe to it. Good fun. [Edit: read a bit further down, happily I was not the first person to think of this!]

Anonymous Groucho

I would argue that movies involving the word "Monster" have an unfair advantage in a Movie Poll called "Monsters" but the actual movie just called that is tanking. So I would be wrong. Anyway, I voted for An American Werewolf in London since so many reactors have done Tremors.

Jason McCloud

Monster does not belong in this poll. 😆 Really good movie though

Anonymous Groucho

And I threw in a vote for Reign of Fire because there's a very funny Rifftrax of it. I find it a very silly movie.

Gavin Kinsey

Reign of Fire is a massively underrated movie, and I hope you do watch it sometime, but it's gotta be Tremors.

Hans Olav Sletnes

Some suggestions for future polls: 1) Ed Wood. Great and entertaining biopic about the supposed “Worst director of all time” and arguably Tim Burton’s greatest movie, especially from a story perspective. Ed Wood is my number 1 pick, not because it’s better than my other suggestions, but because you’ve seen Plan 9 From Outer Space, which immediately makes it a movie you simply.have.to.watch. Must admit, I feel a sense of urgency with this one. I’d hate for Plan 9 to be a faded memory by the time you get to it. Poll category: Comedy or Drama 2) Dark City. Roger Ebert’s movie of the year for 1998 and an awesome Scifi-Noir from Alex Proyas, the man behind The Crow’. An even better movie than The Crow, imo, with a far deeper story. Note: there are two versions. The theatrical cut has an opening monologue which gives away parts of the plot, undermining the mystery. The Director’s Cut does away with the monologue, but is imo an inferior version otherwise, with worse pacing. In the past, I’ve suggested watching the theatrical version, but muting the monologue. However, in the interest of getting it on a poll, I think we need to rally around a single version. I will therefore throw my weight behind The Director’s Cut, as it is likely to be the popular choice. Poll category: Sci-Fi, Mystery or Film Noir. 3) Another Martin Scorsese / Robert Deniro movie It’s been something like 2 years since Goodfellas, and I think it’s time for another movie by one of the greatest actor/director duos of all time. Leaning towards Casino, out of a preference for the crime genre, but Taxi Driver and Raging Bull are also masterpieces. I’’ve heard it said that Taxi Driver is a great movie, but a bad “reaction movie”, and I disagree. Taxi Driver is, imo, a great movie for a reaction duo to watch (less so for single reactors), since it’s such an interesting movie to discuss. Oktokrool did a great reaction to it, for example. Poll category: Drama or Crime

Where_Were_You_When_The_Westfold_Fell

I voted for "Reign of Fire". While all of these movies are great and I wouldn't mind a reaction to any of them, RoF is probably the most underrated one on the list.

Jordy's_Here!

Peter Jackson’s King Kong (2005) definitely needs to be experienced at some point if it doesn’t win the poll! It really deserves more love than it currently gets because it genuinely is a great depiction of the story of King Kong and the island of Skull Island as a whole!

Raymond DeGraw

Great reactions... Always hoping for reactions to some of my favorites. 1. Alita Battle Angel 2. The Count of Monte Cristo (2002) 3. Falling Down 4. Secondhand Lions 5. The Game

Dechevalier

Reign of Fire!!! And please do Falling Down on a future poll.

Mark Messer

Monsters inc is a classic.

Astraeos

I actually can't believe you guys haven't seen Tremors. That is the classic monster movie of the last 30 or 40 years. I would give everything for that movie to win this poll. I dont' even wanna get my hopes up. Also why in the world would you put a Pixar Kids movie in with all these? Its completely tonally different. I really hope that doesn't win the poll, because all these other monster movies are actually worth watching. Save the Pixar movies for kids month or something.

Hans Olav Sletnes

Sad to see Monster tanking, since it's arguably the best movie on the list. Honestly, I think it was an ill fit for this category. A poll called 'Monsters' is likely to attract fans of monster movies -- which "Monster" is not. It's a drama / character study. Drama would have been a far better fit for it, imo.

Chappie_nottherobot

An American Werewolf in London!!!! One of my all time favorite films!

Wrencher86

Ravenous is forever and always my main recommendation. But my campaign for that movie is getting a little long in the tooth with no signs of increased support or seeing it on a poll. So I'm going to throw out some others to see if anything grabs peoples attention. TMNT (1990)- way better than it has any right to be, great practical effects and stunt work Three Kings (1999)- Clooney, Wahlberg and Ice Cube stealing gold during the first Desert Storm Hell Or High Water (2016)- Modern Western with Chris Pine, Ben Foster and Jeff Bridges, written by the same guy who wrote Sicario Moon (2009)- Sam Rockwell on the, you guessed it, moon

Sir Dongle

How is SLITHER not on the list??

Marko T.

King Kong. One of the best Peter Jackson movies. I hope you watch it before watching Kong: Skull Island.

paul rai

Don’t know if I would classify Monster (2003) in the same category as the rest of the films. It’s an amazing movie, one that won Charlize Theron her Oscar. But whereas 99% of these movies are fun, B-level creature feature movies, Monster is not a fun movie. It’s about the tragic life story of Aileen Wuornos, a real life serial killer and her killing spree in Florida. One could argue it’s about a monster of a person, but i think that would be stretching it and removing the human story aspect of the film.

Denashi

If you haven't watched it yet, I'd recommend you watch the Korean movie called The Host! It is really good!

Sir Dongle

We need FROM DUSK TILL DAWN

paul rai

Reign of Fire is such an underrated movie. Not perfect by any means, but hot damn, Christian Bale, Gerald Butler, and hunky dragon killer Matthew McConaughey fighting dragons in a post-apocalyptic future not based on any pre-existing material—such a fun, thrilling movie that’s better than the initial reception it received.

JayF

It's got to be Tremors hands down. Right up there with Tucker and Dale vs Evil for comedy/horror.

JayF

Btw, I'd have sworn G&S reacted to Top Secret. I did a search and it's not there. Am I wrong or was it perhaps one of their early reactions that got eaten by copyright strikes?

Nathan Swapp

How is Reign of Fire losing?! You all have no taste!

Fuckerage

I thought you would’ve seen Tremors But that’s good so we could see it together now

Chase Schleich

Wish Reign of Fire was getting more love. Not the greatest movie, but it's fun and would make for a good reaction video.

The Gunslinger

"Magic hour!" Matthew Mcconaughey and Christian Bale are both brilliant in Reign of Fire. It's a very underrated film. Btw, you should check out Coraline. An excellent stop motion animated film from the man behind The Nightmare before Christmas.

Michael Johnson

I love Tremors unironically. It's just a good fun movie and everyone in it plays their part perfectly.

Dioskur

Tremors. And it isnt even close. Tremors is a work of art! Rare are the cases when inspiration and talent meet to produce such a masterpiece. When I die, I want a screen to be embedded into my tombstone that plays Tremors in a neverending loop for those who walk by, so they know I was blessed to be alive in a time when we enjoyed Tremors. If filmmaking as an art ends, somewhen in the far distant future, and they write a book about it (the art of filmmaking that is), Tremors should be mentioned in the first chapter. If earth and humanity itself comes to an end, and we sent one of these capsules into space to be found by aliens to remember us by, Tremors should be one of the artifacts we send with it. If god exists and he somewhen decides to end this universe and start from scratch with a new one, he should remember us by "the universe that had Tremors". I like that movie. A lot.

Tim T—

I voted for three monsters on this list (Tremors, Reign, Kong), but the very best monster is not in a movie but in … L O S T

Tony2012av

Omg I hope Tremors wins! I haven’t seen that since I was a kid 🍿

Renee MeowMeow Beans

Very fun list! Tremors has my first vote, just great script, super fun, and the performances are charming; also love American Werewolf, for the humor and practical effects; and Arachnophobia (for John Goodman and Julian Sands (RIP)) is just bonkers and over the top.

Byron

You know how in Talladega Nights Ricky Bobby says the Highlander win an Oscar for best picture ever made? That’s how I feel about Tremors. Perfect movie is perfect.

William D

Glad to see Arachnophobia and American Werewolf crack these lists. My guess is that it'll be a while before they win but happy progress is being made.

יוסי פורקוש

archniphobia is the best movie for reactons it will make you scared in the best way

Jobbe Smit

I'm sad Arachnophobia isn't doing better, such a great cast and such a good scare. Ah well maybe it will change as the poll progresses.

Lester Yung

"Monster (2003)"? 🎵 One of these things is not like the others, one of these things is not quite the same... 🎶

Maikeru Dagurasu

C‘mon guys, Arachnophobia needs more votes, such a fun movie with an awesome John Goodman

Maikeru Dagurasu

I think the most impressive for George would be American W. in London bc of how they made the werewolf and especially the scene when the guy turns into the monster in the living room. I can hear George saying "Cool!"

FischerMax98

Tremors and An American Werewolf In London as a double feature creature reaction would be awesome. Both are great.

Stephen Woods

Did you mean to put Monster (2003) about a serial killer in this poll or Monsters (2010) about monsters, which would seem to fit in better with the other films here

Dora

Would've been fun if Monster-In-Law was on here 😂

Bryce Lamkin

Tremors is a absolute gem I recommend Son's of Anarchy as a show to watch please, it has 7 seasons

Zinphad

G&S, please don't be discouraged. Many of us appreciate your humor (why we stay around) and like that you put Monster (2003) in this list.

Tinfoilnation

Tremors is gonna win this in a walk, which is glorious.

China Andronicus

American Werewolf In London is such a classic! Brilliant combination of horror and comedy and the first ever Oscar winner for makeup to the amazing Rick Baker.

Thomaz Chagas

Some suggestions: - Almoust Famous (2000) - Big Fish (2003) - Make sure Simone is hydrated before watching. - Gangs of New York (2002) - Daniel Day-Lewis and Leonardo DiCaprio

Jeff Norwood-Brown

Paul is a alien. Which is sort of a monster…you could watch that.

Muir Lyman

I cannot overstate how underrated Reign Of Fire is.

Basil Hazzard

Tremors is absolutly brilliant. much like Galaxy Quest it was a 'failure' at the box office but gained enough of a cult following to spawn six sequals AND a 1 season TV series.

Mr. Writhms

Next time, please consult me when you’re going to do a monster poll. 😁 “Night of the Creeps” (1986) “The Gate” (1987) “The Blob” (1988) “Slither” (2006)

Monica Alarcon

I would love to see your reaction to Arachnophobia but I'm glad it's not winning because you would have a very hard time reacting to it after seeing you react to spiders in other movies...

Kyle B

Couldn't smash Tremors fast enough. It is one of those movies I've watched at least once a year since the 90s.

FromDarknessComesLight

I love the Tremors movies so much! If you enjoyed the first one, you really should consider watching at least the first three. The formula of that series is basically endlessly recycleable.

Brandon Meng

Tremors is going to get the fanfare, I get it, but I really hoped Arachnophobia and Monster would be higher in this poll. Future polls, throwing all my weight behind Perks of Being a Wallflower. I think it would be amazing for your channel!

HeyHeyJK

The fact that "An American Werewolf in London" isn't higher makes me sad, but that's okay. I threw my vote in for that and for "Reign of Fire" which won't win, but it's a fun watch. Also, dragons.

JOEDATOR

An American Werewolf In London is 97 minutes of solid entertainment. It is damn near a perfect movie.

WastedPo

I haven't actually ever seen "Monster" from 2003. I assume it's about a werewolf or something. (I'm joking.)

sarCC

Oh, wow...out of all these: Tremors, definitely. It's just a perfect movie. It's everyone in It's best performance and best movie. So fun and funny! EDIT: Also, I definitely would've voted for the original King Kong or the original Godzilla. And I really hope I'm correct in assuming you've already planned to watch Shin Godzilla and that's why it's not on here.

BlakeK80DrumCovers

I can't believe An American Werewolf in London isn't gonna win this... What a sad time to be alive :) hahaha

Kris

Reign of fire is so, so good, but I cannot leave Tremors here, unviewed. For what it is, it's a nearly perfect movie. I hope and beg that y'all will keep Reign of Fire in your back pockets for later polls or a random reaction at some point

Studio

I'm surprised Tremors is winning. I think King Kong is clearly the best movie here. Reign of Fire also comes highly recommended.

Darin Foat

There's a lot of fun choices on this list. You should do a special Monster Week.

Patch

Oh fuck yeah, tremors!!! Genuinely one of my fav all time movies, I couldn’t even begin to guess how many times ive watched it since i was a kid. I really hipe it wins because i think you’d both enjoy it ☺️

howtocookazombie (Stan)

As soon as I saw this list, I already knew what movie would win. And it fully deserves it. 😁

Dan

Arachnophobia is a criminally underrated movie and deserves to be much higher in the list. Tremors is a good leader, though, so I'm comfortable not voting for it to give Arachnophobia the love it needs.

Jeff Whittaker

I know I recommended this quite a while back, but have not seen any discussion on it... The Frighteners, directed by Peter Jackson and starring Michael J. Fox.

Joey Shepard

Reign of Fire is awesome, as is Arachnophobia, and many other movies on this list :)

Zectorman

Tremors is the goat

Matthew Johnson

As a selling point, Arachnophobia has some God-tier John Goodman in it. I think you guys would love that one!

Travis H

I’m always going to vote for the Disney movie so going Monsters Inc. Monster movie recs: The Host Little Show of Horrors It Follows

James Falato

"King Kong" 2005 hsa dialog that has 2 references to the 1933 "King Kong": "Jack Black asks if "Fay" is available, and his assistant says "She's doing a picture with RKO". Black responds, "Cooper, I should've known."... "Fay" refers To Fay Wray - the 1933's Leading Actress - and "Cooper" refers to the 1933's Director Merian C Cooper...

Happy Hanukkah

How could I not vote for An American Werewolf in London? I *love* Kid Rock! But I guess I'll just have to settle for Kevin Bacon as Paul Atreides.

Jonny

WOOOOOOOO!!!!! Finally!! Arachnophobia is an option!! 🥳🥳🥳🥳

John

This is a great poll, I'm going to recommend Gattaca, Kingdom of Heaven, and Berry Gordy's the Last Dragon as movies to watch or a misc poll

Astraeos

As has been echoed, while Tremors is almost a perfect movie, and I hope it continues on to win the poll, it can't be stated enough how great Arachnophobia, King Kong and Reign of Fire are as well. All three of those movies deserve to be pencilled in as must watched for the channel, honestly. Arachnophobia is more a long the lines of your classic monster creature feature type movies, and it features some great characters and acting, as well as practical effects and everything that goes with that. King Kong and Reign of Fire are definitely more CGI fests, but I think they are pretty unique. Reign of Fire doens't really have any comparison to any other movie, and the fact that it features dragons should put it high on any list. I think its got a good story, good action, good acting, just a solid fairly straight forward action flick. King Kong goes a bit long, and is a bit more of a straightforward adaptation of the many King Kong films that have existed, but I think it has some really great CGI that holds up today, and has some great worldbuilding and sights and sounds and action pieces. I think you'd classify this one as a Monster Epic? Hard to say. Its got action, its got romance, its got everything. All these movies and other Monster movies definitely lend themselves to be watched around Halloween pretty well, or as others have stated, could do a sort of Monster Week sometime. Monster movies are honestly a huge rabbit hole to go down, and there's literally dozens of others to be recommended.

Thirty Year Old Mulberry Field

Not big on the monster movie genre so I don’t have a horse in this race. But of the few I’ve seen I’d like to suggest “The Host” from director Bong Joon-Ho and “Attack the Block”, which features John Boyega’s breakout performance. And I don’t know if this one counts, as like “The Host” it covers a lot of tones and styles all at once, but it’s a fictional reimagining of a famous creature related incident in 1760s France, “Brotherhood of the Wolf”.

Shibby

Reign of Fire is so much fun, hopefully it'll get a reaction one day

Dwight Scarn

Looks like Tremors is gonna win great flick! But please try to watch American werewolf in London!!!!

Dan Holmes

Damn i voted for all of them lol

Bill Woods

Add _The 13th Warrior_ (1999); Antonio Banderas goes a-viking.

Skyruff Creative

Partial list of suggestions for (Monster movies): Dragon Slayer (1981) Life Force (1985) The Blob (1988) Split Second (1992) Deep Rising (1998) Sleepy Hollow (1999) Deep Blue Sea (1999) Pitch Black (2000) Season of the Witch (2011)

Neil

This is an absolute classic. You gotta watch this. American Werewolf in London

Gaius Frakking Baltar

If 2003's Monster is on this list, then by the same token 2001's Monsters Ball should also have made the list. Both movies have the exact same number of monsters in them: zero

Lola Lirola

This one was interesting! I had to think about it a lot: how to find monster movies that are not fully horror movies, and debating whether it was the monster that should be female, or the person fighting the monster who should be? (I couldn't decide, so I've done both here) After much internal debate, here's an all-female alt list! Bride of Frankenstein - Kind of the OG female movie monster. A look that is replicated and parodied still today. It starts actually with Mary Shelley, Percy and Lord Byron on that fateful night when most classic monsters were born; and Mary says she still has more story to tell. Cat People - A very surprising oldie. For a movie from 1942, this one feels dangerous, edgy and sexy. A woman is convinced she has been cursed to turn into a black panther if she ever feels aroused; and she just got married... (there's a 70's remake, but it's not as good!) Splice - A weird one that becomes quite campy, but really fascinating, where a married couple of scientists splices together many creatures to create the ultimate monster, and tries to raise it as their baby. How will it turn out? I promise you'll never guess. Teeth - Well, it doesn't get any more 'female scary monster' embodiment than vagina dentata, and that's all I have to say! (some expected trigger warnings for this one, it's definitely not a subtle one.) Blood and Chocolate / Ginger Snaps - Werewolves are classic movie monsters, and I'm surprised that there aren't more female ones, considering the 'becoming a hairy angry bloody beast once a month' feels like such a fitting metaphor! Bonus points for Ginger Snaps for being a Canadian cult movie. Oh, also, if George wants to see Julie Delpy from Before Sunrise turn into one, check An American Werewolf in Paris! Invisible Man - The newest iteration of the classic monster centers more on the woman (Elizabeth Moss) trying to see where this man might be hiding, and so becomes an intriguing allegory for domestic violence. Attack of the 50 Foot Woman - I'll admit my nº7 was going to be Colossal, the Anne Hathaway as Godzilla one, but that's already on the poll, so let's try this 50s classic! The poster (and it's million imitations) is everywhere, and the gimmick of turning women's increasing visibility in public spaces into a terrifying, rampaging monster is still perhaps more current than it should! **Wait, I have just seen the Monster in the poll is the Charlize Theron one! Great gag, but then Colossal is back on my list! Come on, it has Anne Hathaway accidentally terrorizing Seoul!

Drew Acheson

A good comedy movie would be Yes Man. Jim Carey and Zoey Deschenel.

Rupert Purcat

I was hoping for 'Love and Monsters' 2020

Dustin Duvall

Tremors is a classic, happy to see reign of fire doing well

Jacob Ryan

oh man! i completely understand why Tremors won, which i'm totally grateful for... but i have to agree every one of these movies are phenomenal! so it's hard to choose, just wish they chose to watch em all anyway

Chase Lonnergan

This makes me incredibly happy. I have been stumping for Tremors for almost a year now!

RLYtoxic

Little Monsters (1989) is first thing that came to mind for this poll.

Tyler L

Would love to see some of the following reactions! Prisoners Annihilation The Witch Almost Famous A Place Beyond the Pines

Dirge Girl

30 Days of Night (2007) - has Vampires... The Dead Don't Die (2019) - has Zombies... Brotherhood of the Wolf (2001) - has Quasi-Werewolves... Gremlins 2 (1990) - has Gremlins and then some... The Private Eyes (1980) - has Wookalars...

Dirge Girl

Also... The Shape of Water (2017) - has a Deep One... Memoirs of an Invisible Man (1992) - has a Chevy Chase... The Descent (UK version) (2005) - has a better ending... Monster Squad (1987) - has everything.

Brendan Rafferty

Sad to see An American Werewolf in London and Peter Jackson’s King Kong polling so poorly.

David N

This is the first poll ever that I was excited for almost every choice. Hope you get around to all of them!

Doug Shore

be sure to have King Kong in the "Make Simone Cry" poll

The Dark Unknown

so happy for tremors but damn ive been wanting them to watch jacksons king kong for sooo long

sheriffjt

Tremors is amazing, but American Werewolf in London was equally amazing, and had amazing practical effects. Shame it's unlikely to be watched given its current position.

Wrencher86

Has anyone ever recommended "Session 9" before? Saw an ad for an abandoned sanatorium for sale while perusing a realtor site and that movie came to mind. Early 2000's, low budget, horror. Has Blair Witch vibes but isn't found footage. It's *deeply* unsettling while having very little gore.

nossieboy

Was expecting Monsters Inc to stomp due to the way things are. But I'm proud of chat for getting shit done with Tremors y'all. Big chef's kiss MWAH!!! WE'RE OVER 1000!!!!!!!!!

Christian Rennie

Arachnophobia is one of my favs growing up. I hope you get to it sometime. It might be better for the summer.

Han

Love the channel! Sometimes regular people can be monsters. Here are a couple of great, smart and at times darkly funny, but thought-provoking films by director/writer Neil LaBute that are prime examples: "The Shape of Things" (2003) and In The Company of Men (1997). Highly recommend! I think you would also enjoy "Naked Lunch" (1991) based on the trippy novel by William S. Burroughs, and "Wild at Heart" (1990) by David Lynch, with arguably Willem Defoe's most creepy and disturbing character in any film. Please consider these for future polls!

Rob Church

I think we should put the animated films into a poll together, instead of sprinkling them in.

G B

Could I suggest the theatrical cut of The Warriors (1979)? Think you two would enjoy the action packed cult classic.

Will Sofer

Seems that Tremors has it

Michael Buhl

Monster (2003) is really good, but it's not a "monster movie" in the same way that An American Werewolf in London or Tremors are. Will you guys be watching any of the old classic horror movies, like Frankenstein, Dracula, or The Wolf Man (or have you watched them already)?

Ricardo Alanis

I would also recommend: From Dusk Til Dawn Colossal The Host

Wes Stevens

Many good choices there but I will not be joining you for Arachnophobia. Never that movie, not again

Reign of Fire is so good. It’s like Jaws and Lord of the Rings got married and raised their adopted son Batman on a commune in the North of England good but I guess not everyone is ready for that level of good.

I voted Reign of Fire because every good story, no matter how good, needs more... well. You know. Nonsequitur. Thought I'd take a moment and suggest... maybe not my favorite movies from each decade. Kelly's Heroes (1970) Theif (1981) Glengarry Glen Ross (1992) Michael Clayton (2007) Drive (2011) And, because I don't think the 2020s has had or is going to have much to offer (sadly), I'll pitch this one. Let's just say it's timeless. The Man from Earth (2007)
