Help decide the next D&D Subclass we create! Vote in the poll at the end of this post! Voting closes is one week on May 21st.As of today the Aura Thief has had its first draft submitted for revision and early layout, you can go check it out and give feedback in the #guild-hall channel of the Discord. Now you get to vote on the next subclass we design. Check out a brief explanation for each one below and cast your vote. You can vote for multiple subclasses!
Blood of the Beast Sorcerer. Inspired by the idea of having a Werewolf, Vampire or monster parent that passes some kind of power along to their children that isn't the full transformation. The mechanics of this subclass would work similar to Bladesinger, in that they would have melee potential and a 'form' they take inspired by their Beast to encourage close quarters combat.
Circle of the Chimera Druid. Inspired by the brief Druid re-work we saw in One DnD, this Circle of Druids would have a customizable Wild Shape that takes different aspects of various beasts and combines them into one creature. Similar to Warlocks and their Invocations, this Druid would have a list of features they could choose from with a Point Buy like cost to keep things balanced.
Oath of Shadows Paladin. Inspired by Batman, this Paladin would be more akin to a Rogue in the way they operate, using deception, the shadows and darkness to their advantage.
The Nightmare Patron Warlock. Warlocks who choose this Patron will have met them in a dream. How the nightmare affects their waking world remains to be seen, but this subclass was originally inspired by the idea of Freddy Krueger becoming a Patron.
The Slimer Patron Warlock. This idea was inspired by how players referred to the Great Old One as the GOO Warlock. We then thought, what if Slimer from the Ghostbusters was a Warlock Patron...this subclass will rely on the themes of Ghosts, Slime, Ooze, and Ectoplasm.
Warrior of Ink Monk. This subclass will draw inspiration from magical tattoo's, utilizing them for a variety of purposes, which could include creating\summoning creatures from the tattoo's themselves. Depending on the direction the design goes, this could be something more customizable that allows players to select different tattoos\effects\abilities as they level up.
Remember voting will conclude on May 21st, next Wednesday! Depending on the complexity of the winning subclass, there's a chance we may push this release to July, and release a new species we've had in the wings for June.
