I am guessing you were left with the same feelings at the end of it. Enjoying it and then having that enjoyment sharply cut off at the most crucial moment, ahah. I read that they initially planned this story arc and filmed it altogether, but then ended up cutting it into two separate seasons, which is why the first season felt complete, whilst this one isn't. If you notice, every single subplot in this season hasn't yet been resolved, so hopefully we'll see all questions answered in season 3, and gladly it's meant to be out this summer. But such approach to writing is often very risky and more often than not it causes a fan backlash, because the audience likes for most subplots to be tied up and concluded by the end of a season, book, movie entry, etc, otherwise it can feel that your appetite was whetted for nothing. Regardless of that, I still though Season 2 was great. The clash of different types of personalities and moral dilemmas, and of course the games themselves. The Mingle game was shockingly tense the entire time.

Yeah Mingle was brutal, with the 'true colors' revelations it gave for a few people, and the sad end of one who didn't deserve it. It is hard to apply the word 'enjoy' to the series. It is enthralling, captivating, but joy is not an emotion I felt much in the process. I'm not one that necessarily needs answers to questions to appreciate a movie or series, but I am sure they will provide closure for much of the cast. I'm intrigued to see how they end it. There is a lot of comeuppance to be delivered. I'm especially curious about what the overall moral message will be of it all. Will it go for totally bleak and hopeless dispiriting punishment of everyone? Or will anyone have something approaching a 'good' ending? I can see a few avenues they have allowed for the latter... actually now that I think about it, a very... good-bad ending for miss 011 is possible, which they pretty clearly set up. I'll absolutely watch the conclusion.
