The final film in our slate of toy commercials turned cinema is arguably the roughest watch yet. Specifically, we all argue that maybe Masters of the Universe with Dolph Lundgren and a rubber Skeletor COULD have maybe been something watchable, if only every single creative choice were different, and better. Then you might have something!

The watch cast is a nice break, dig the format the movie track tie ins are choice, just a overall good show, thanks y'all!

So stoked by the February line-up! They're all incredible movies and I'm excited to finally have a reason to rewatch them alongside y'all. It's been way too long since I've seen any of them.

If you were a gay kid in the late 80s I'm gonna tell ya, this movie was much more memorable.

I’ll add that they wrote that Skeletor’s black armored minions are supposed to be robots so that’s how they got around Mattel’s rule of He-Man killing. Also Gary Goddard had created, written, and directed “The Adventures of Conan: A Sword and Sorcery Spectacular“ stunt show at Universal Studios and that’s how he got the directorial job here.

The only part of the He-Man franchise that I ever engaged with in my life is the Skeletor/Beastman song by CKY back in the day.

I went to Universal in 2000. The T2 3D and Jurassic Park riverboat rides were a ton of fun. The ride photo for JP was taken while the T-Rex emerges out of the waterfall ahead.
