wait, we need a reason to do Apocalypse Now ? The 'cast started with classics and now we have to find a reason to do one of the most historically significant movies ever? Coppola? Vietnam? Brando? Infamous productions? It would actually be harder to find a reason NOT to do it. GO BACK TO CLASSICS, FOR THE LOVE OF GOD... I miss caring about the watchcast 😭

When the strikes are over, for you, we will do this for our first movie month.

I just want to say that I met and talked to Jim Cornette one time and we talked for a lone time and we was one of the most humble, funny, and surprisingly quiet wrestling personality I've ever met. I was SHOCKED, actually, but pleasantly.

I love a scotch egg! Any time I see one on a menu I'm compelled to get one.

Dumb question, but what were the wrestling books and documentaries mentioned in this episode? I’ve been thinking about catching up on wrestling history, and the one book I read years ago about the subject (“The Squared Circle”) was interesting as hell.

Manny Marmol

The documentaries were Beyond the Mat and Wrestling With Shadows. Dark Side of the Ring and Tales From the Territories are the two shows that were mentioned. Dunno about the books, sorry.

Manny Marmol

They also mention the Behind the Bastards podcast that had around a 6 episode run on Vince McMahon. That one is a great listen because they quickly cover the history of pro wrestling in general and also get into some amusing side tangents because Sean Baby is a guest on it
