Chapter 295

Sophia continued to share her magic with her friends, but Anna and Ari reacted a lot differently than the wolves did. They felt it way more intensely, and the warm, filling feeling, as well as the tingly sensation, was a tiny bit of a turn-on for them and made them respond with some slightly suspicious sounds as the blonde was filling them up.

“Feeling okay so far?” Sophia just finished boosting Ari and wanted to know if it was working.

“Okay is certainly a word.” The jaguar reacted with an awkward nod.

“Still basking in the afterglow, huh?” Maya’s expression turned into a smirk.

“Don’t worry, Sophia wasn’t that good.” She had had enough of being on the receiving side.

“Such slander!” The blonde didn’t appreciate this.

“Yeah, that doesn’t sound like her.” The cat-girl agreed with her tiger. “Sophia usually is that good. I know that much from first-hand experience.”

“Oh, speaking of, seeing how Ari and Anna reacted to my magic touch, I just had an idea for tonight, my dear~.” The blonde's smile turned seductive.

“Are you going to show them how good you really are?" Maya tilted her head.

“No!” Sophia, Anna, and Ari had the same reaction.

“So, I’m getting a reminder?” The cat-girl voiced the second thing that came to mind.

“Yes, you idiot!”

“Ohh, let’s go!” She excitedly clapped her hands. “What does that have to do with your magic touch or whatever, though?”

“You saw how I made them feel without even trying.” Sophia gave her a cheeky thumbs-up in return. “Let’s find out what I can make you feel if I go for it. It’s not like I have to transport my magic through your hand, you know? Though, I’ll still be using my hand to do so. Or rather, my fingers. I need to see what kinds of sounds you’re going to make when my magic fills you up.”

“Oho!” Maya’s eyes started sparkling. “Suddenly, I’m a lot more excited about getting this magic boost! I love it when you take charge~.”

“Ehehe~.” She liked her reaction.

“Before that, you still have to do Chloe and me first, though!” Steph still wanted to receive her boost, too.

“Wording, idiot.” Sophia rolled her eyes.

“Since when do we care about suggestive innuendos in this group?!” She raised her voice.

“There are some minor limitations between the two of us when it comes to that, dearest sister of mine.”

“Fair enough.” The dog-girl shrugged. “Though, I feel this should count as simply having fun because there’s no harm there.”

“I guess so.” Sophia agreed that it isn’t worth paying attention to at the end of the day. “I still won’t talk to you for a week if you dare to let out a moan if I boost you.”

“Yep, that definitely would be too much on the weird scale!” Steph had no intention of disagreeing there. “Anyway, let’s go!” She then sat down in the chair in front of the blonde and held out her hand.

“Sure.” Slightly hesitant at first, she eventually wrapped her hands around the dog-girl’s and started releasing her magic.

"Hmm…" Contrary to Anna, Ari, and the wolves before, Steph was able to see the magic particles, so she watched them enter her body through her hand with interest while tilting her head at the same time. “Are all of you really that sensitive?” Steph looked at the four who had already gotten their boost before singling out the princess and the jaguar. "I now finally understand why you two are always so loud when having fun! No wonder if you’re that sensitive!”

“Hey!” Ari glared at her as her cheeks turned crimson again. "We heard you plenty of times with Chloe already, too, so you have no right to say any of that right now! You’re just not reacting because you’re sisters!”

“I literally don’t feel a single thing.” Steph looked honestly confused. “Besides noticing that Soph has a new hand cream!” She paused for a second. “Please tell me which it is because your hands are amazingly soft!”

“I’ll show you the tub later~.” The blonde smiled at her. “Though, are you really not feeling a thing? I can definitely sense it going inside and filling your magic level.”

“Well, I feel my authority getting filled, but that's more of a simple background noise kind of thing? There's none of the warm, filling, and or tingly feeling, though. Like, at all.”

“That’s odd.” Aura got interested in that. "I mean, we know that the royal couple is sensitive, but even I felt it tingle and the filling sensation, and don't get me wrong, but I'm tougher than you."

“I’m definitely not going to argue with that.” Steph nodded along. “I don’t know what to say, though. I really don’t feel anything.”

“I can’t say that makes a lot of sense.” The female wolf got more confused. “Oh, wait, maybe it has something to do with you having gotten your magic from Mira? The rest of us were born with it, after all."

"It could also be because of how fast her natural regeneration is," Fen added his own theory to the mix. "I mean, Sophia isn’t filling her up faster than she’d naturally reset, so her body is used to having so much magic enter her in such a short amount of time.”

“Oh, that makes even more sense.” Aura liked his idea better.

“Your guesses are as good as any.” Naturally, Steph had no idea why she wasn’t affected, either.

“Well, for now, let’s just keep going and see how it goes?” Sophia wasn’t too interested in the possible explanation. It might've been just her overcompensating for the warning of not being accidentally suggestive, after all. "I'm starting to feel like I'm getting closer to your natural limit, so let’s see how that is going to work for you.”

“Hit me~!” Steph gave her a thumbs-up with her free hand.

“Hah.” The blonde concentrated for another moment and then suddenly stopped while tilting her head. “I just pushed past the barrier with little to no effort. I felt it, but it was more like a small bump… Why are you so weird?”

“Hey!” The dog-girl didn’t like that. “You’re the last one amongst us allowed to accuse others of being weird!”

“True.” Everyone agreed with her.

“You’re the fifth person I boosted today and the first to behave differently, so your complaint is not accepted.”

“…” Steph went silent. “Well, I mean, when Mira first gave me magic, I had a lot more before sharing half with Chloe, so it might be a remnant of that?"

"I just went past double your authority, and there was no additional barrier or anything like that."

“Well, I don’t know either, then!” She started pouting. “Probably some Mira shenanigans or something like that. I mean, she’s the overseer of magic, so I can see myself being super compatible with it and soaking it up like nothing.”

“Yeah, fair, I can see Mira doing something there to mix things up.” Sophia could follow her reasoning.

“I don't appreciate that your mom made my sister think I’m weird.” The dog-girl glanced at Chloe sitting on the sofa.

“I don’t think that her influence is all that… significant in that regard.” The fox didn’t feel like her mother should be taking all the blame there.

“Oi!”

“Anyway, your turn, my dear.” Sophia smiled at Chloe while letting go of Steph’s hand. “I just matched the weird girl’s authority with the other four.”

“OI!” The dog-girl got even louder.

“Gladly!” The fox-girl smiled back at her. “Anna and Ari's reaction made me quite curious about how it feels, and your idea with Maya sounds interesting. I’d love to experience it and then make sure to properly teach Steph tonight on what she missed out on by making it ten times as intense. Oh, and more authority to play with sounds fun, too.”

“You really didn’t have to add the last part after your true motivation already leaked out in such an obvious way.” The blonde rolled her eyes.

"I mean… It's my new true motivation.” Chloe scratched her cheek. “Having more magic to create biomes and do interesting things with it in the real world still is amazing. Don’t blame me for wanting to enjoy my time with Steph after making such an intense suggestion to Maya.”

“She’s got a point.” The cat-girl in question nodded a few times.

"Just get over here and give me your hand." Sophia gestured to the chair in front of her, the one Steph had just vacated, and waited for her to sit down.

“Hmm…” Once Chloe got in position and had her hand sandwiched between Sophia’s, she watched the magic particles enter her with the same expression as Steph before. “Yes, uhh, unfortunately, I have to side with Steph on the matter. I don’t feel anything out of the ordinary, either.”

“WHY UNFORTUNATELY?!” The dog-girl felt rather bullied today.

“Because now I can’t learn how to feel it in order to do it to you tonight with much higher intensity.” However, Chloe had no intentions of bullying her as her motivation was pure.

“Ah!” The dog-girl’s expression changed. “That’s indeed unfortunate!”

“I guess that confirms Mira’s involvement, right?” Aura tilted her head. “Neither the one blessed nor the one made by her is affected while the rest of us are.”

“I feel like someone’s in trouble once Fey finds out that Mira made her daughter easy to boost.” Steph let out a small chuckle. "It's a good getaway from the heat for Sophia, too. If it was easy to give Chloe more magic, she couldn't really be mad at you. In fact, I did the same, and I never got any flak from her because of it.”

“Don’t she literally set you on fire so much that you became fireproof?” Anna wasn’t so sure about that claim.

“Yeah, but because I sleep with her daughter and not because I gave her more magic.”

“…” The princess paused for a second. “You know what, fair.”

While they were chatting, Sophia continued to pour her magic into Chloe until it matched the others before making it fuse with her body. Just like Steph, it was also incredibly easy to push past her natural authority limit, which was only further proof of Mira shenanigans. The only one left in the group to get a boost was Maya, but her private session was scheduled for later that night.
