Home Prisoner: Development Progress #2 (Patreon)
Content
Greetings, Home Prisoners!
The work on the project is ongoing, and today we have three pieces of news about its development.
Animations:
We always strive for more complex animations and improving their quality. Since we are still at the beginning of our journey, each update is a challenge, and each one introduces something new. For instance, in the previous update, the challenge was working with 3D genitals :) In this update, it's more complex animations. Currently, we are halfway through the most complex animation of this update.
Revamping old images and more:
"Home Prisoner" is Inqel Interactive's first game, and there's a lot that needs revisiting and improving. For example, the initial images were created using an outdated 3delight rendering method, and they could look better. With the advent of new technologies and knowledge, we will be revising the images, characters, and every aspect of the game. The action indicators mentioned in the previous message will initially be available for new events, but over time, they will also be added to older events that lacked such graphical cues. Here are a few examples of the image revamps that will be included in the next update:
Cloud storage:
"Home Prisoner" may not have an extensive amount of content yet, but the files used in development already occupy a considerable amount of disk space. In case we lose access to them due to unforeseen circumstances, it could take months to reconstruct the game environment. Thanks to your support, we now have the opportunity to be proactive by subscribing to a cloud storage service and now all "Home Prisoner" files will be safely stored in online space.
