For the stones game, the goal is to throw the stone(s) in your hand up and pick up one more stone before you catch the ones you threw. Keep going one by one until you are holding all five. Then repeat but now you have to pick up two stones at a time. Then repeat with three stones, then with 4 stones. Finally you have 5/5 stones. Throw them up and balance on the back of your hand, and to finish throw and catch in your fist again. Hope that makes sense but that way you can understand better how it works when they show it next episode

Isn't the western version Jacks? it's what it reminds me of (without the crazy throw and catch at the end) Your description made complete sense :)

Andrew

The actor who plays the front man was also storm shadow in the GI Joe movies, thought he looked familiar. Cool to see him still kicking ass haha

Angel Chatfield

Kang is her last name btw, her first name is No-eul.

Frontman is surely telling the truth about his past, besides you know, pretending its not in the past. Its easier to tell/live a lie, if you sneak the truth in. I think Frontman really is curious about Gi-Hun. I think it is safe to assume most winners just go back to debauchery. Running with that theory, Gi-Hun and Frontman are the only ones that were truly shattered to their core by the games. But they came out with opposing worldviews, frontman believing the system was a result of the people, and Gi-Hun blaming the system for taking advantage of these people.

These games made me think. The game of the thingy with the rope that has to spin is a popular game here in my country (Venezuela / it's in south America) and South Korea is very far away from here so it made me wonder where these game come from. That one is difficult if you don't know how to do it, so what you said is correct, these are child games but if you don't know how to do them you're screwed also, like MQ said, the nerves can easily wreck you

Diablos Cafe

If y’all watched the recent G.I Joe movies then you might recognize the frontman was the actor playing Storm Shadow.

Apparently he's a massive star in Korea. Also, watching the season this past weekend, my wife suddenly turned to me and said, "He looks just like that Danish actor from Hannibal" and after a second I was like, "Holy shit he does" and now I cannot un-see Korean Mads Mikkelsen when I look at Frontman.

I think he's for sure telling the truth, given how they seeded his backstory with his sick wife with Jun-ho and his mom talking about how In-ho gave Jun-ho his kidney, which saved his life, but meant when his wife got sick, he couldn't sell the kidney to get the money needed for her own medical treatment. Everything In-ho was saying fits perfectly in-line with that.

The way I've been remembering that is that she's 011, and No-eul sounds enough like No. 11 that part of me wonders if they intentionally paired the name and number.

Jeff K

FYI to the Badd Medicine guys: the season finale has a mid-credits scene, whenever you get there.

Amanda

That stones game... I find it incredibly hard, I mean, if you let me 10 hours to achieve it, 10 lost hours of my life just to die xD

PLEASE PLAY GONGGI (aka the dice game)!!! RULES: Scatter the dice and pick one to be the jockey. Toss the jockey up as you pick up the scattered dice one at a time. Repeat but pick up two dice at a time, then three (and the extra) then four. Lastly, flip all five to the back of your hand, then snatch them (keep your hands palm down; it's not a flip and flip back). GOOD LUCK!!!

No-eul means sunset. Interesting that Sae-byeok (from Season 1) is the dark just before sunrise... last name also Kang. I wonder if they intentionally paired that.

I'm in New Zealand and we call it knuckle bones. Crazy how international this is. In the Korean version when they're on the back of your hand you have to snatch them in the last catch (keep your palm down) we just flipped and flipped back... so much easier!

I think he's telling the truth too. The story matches what Jun-ho said, and he said "The games WERE my last chance" not ARE. It sounds like a recollection not a lie.

EVERYONE LOVES THANOS!

Megan

I completely agree, I'm not invested in the outside crew. I think episode one was enough and then they can come back later if they are able to find our guy. There is too much filler so far and if I wasn't watching along with you guys in real time, I would be skipping through the episodes to focus on the games and the pink suits. I think the boat captain is in on it. He just seems off to me and probably was told by game master to recover his brother's body and if alive, keep him safe/away from the island. He's been on the water for 30 years yet is unaware of an area that has increased activity? Never seen a boat, helicopter, etc. in a strange area at all? I don't buy it. I've been suspicious of him since his introduction. As for the military men, I wouldn't be surprised if at least one of them is part of the games. Loan shark is probably the one who has leaked info. Probably not even on purpose, he's just an idiot. I'm just wondering if game master relinquished his position or if he'll try to use it to save pregnant lady, stop the organ trafficking, etc. and second in command will prevent him from returning.

Nomad

I think this new game with 5 mini-games, could be an interesting for a challenge video.
