This movie was so much good, it will be a fun rewatch with you guys (We got our very own Eddie Munson in this)

ParkMinJeon

Oak hasn’t see the original F4 , with Chris Evan’s and Jessica Alba ?! Dang I wish you guys would’ve done those first ):

Jeff K.

Cousin Richie and Eddie Munson. Love the fact that y'all are on Stranger Things season 4 and just started The Bear just in time for this one.

Jeff K.

So in that early scene that showed different countries and showed no one sitting at the placard for Latveria, that's an Easter Egg for future MCU movies: Latveria is the country ruled by Doctor Doom.

Belly

loved this one. was great watching with you guys! also i think the cgi for the silver surfer was amazing.

Bryan

this movie was great, 4/5 🔥🔥 & i’m not too sure Quinn, the CGI wasn’t the best of course but it was still good especially the silver surfer… this Johnny was great also, Chris Evans was entertaining but the Johnny in this movie is sorta how he is suppose to be without all the back to back jokes… watching the older movies might of made your reaction to this better but watching those after this should be interestingggg

Diablos Cafe

Loved the review even though Quinn’s score is crazy 🤣 watching the reaction later

MynamecouldB

I really loved this movie and the whole feel and vibe, I like how different it feels. Silver Surfer and Galactus look great in this movie, they are both awesome.

patrick

To answer your question about Galactus' size, in the comics, and I'm pretty sure even here in this movie, he can change his size. I'm pretty sure he was way bigger in his ship than he was on earth. And, I know opinions vary, but saying the CGI isnt that good when you have the Silver Surfer who looks just amazing is kinda crazy lol (even the rest of the cgi wasnt that bad but i guess thats just me)

Stephen Hert

Scores are crazy. This was by far the best f4 film. 4.5/5 for me.

Maisie

I think this is a movie where the CGI actually looks better in theaters. I saw it in 3D and it was AMAZING.

I'm Batman

Really enjoyed this movie, definitely prefer this one over all the other f4 movies. Only thing I wasn't too big of a fan of was, and this is just my opinion, how easily it seemed to me of Galactus being defeated. Everything else though was great, I do think Pedro and Emily have good chemistry but not quite on the level of David and Rachel in Superman. But overall I had a blast with this one, I give it a 4/5.

.

I very much agree with Mason Quinn. The characters were lacking.

Javier Padilla

For me this is an "enough is enough" point for Marvel. They have just been lacking time after time. This move was the make or break point for them and in it's best part is just decent. The script completly forgets it's characters and it's centered around Mr fantastic because they thought it was going to be the main guy in doomsday, but noe that it's out the window. So... Yeah The big problem with marvel it's that they always think about the big project. But they don't care about the indivdual parts. Like trying to build a house with no floor. Also their use of budget is plain stupid by this point. They spend way too much in the wrong things and as Quinn says the end product looks busted... But hey at leat their actors are well paid.

MidnightToonz

The Silver Surfer chase scene is one of the most masterful action sequences Marvel has delivered in years. I absolutely love how the scene is given the space to be long and build incredible tension, which is then elevated by Sue Storm giving birth during their "hyperspeed/black hole race" home. The stakes felt real, the visuals were super pleasing, and the score was nothing short of absolute perfection. It all culminated in a cinematic experience that I just can't get enough of watching!

Ron B.

Gotta go back and watch the 2005 and 2007 movies now.

Vanessa

Natasha has that hair in “But I’m a Cheerleader “ which is one of the best campy movies from 90s.

Ryan Holmes

Quinn is right. This movie fell so short

ImaKatPerson

I agree with MQ. I thought they were all horribly miscast except maybe Ben and the CGI was definitely not up to par for a blockbuster superhero film. CGI baby Franklin just after he’s born was BAD. I didn’t connect with any of the characters either. Story was alright though. This is my second time watching and I don’t feel like I ever need to return to it, unlike Thunderbolts, which was the best superhero movie of the year. Meh. 2/5 Answers.

First time watch for me, and I definitely didn't feel connected to the characters, everyone seemed to be pretty one note. There were stakes, but even when Sue was dying/dead, Johnny didn't have any motivation to help as her only brother, there seemed to be a lack of urgency to help build the tension. 2/5 Answers for me

Dissapointed in Diamond Dave, whose often been the preacher of the slogan 'Art is subjective' on this channel, yet came across very petulant - and if I may add, insecure - because Quinn's opinion differed from his. There is no right or wrong in art; it's how it makes you feel, how you perceive it. And you're not owed any explanations as to why someone feels the way they do. So enough with the judgy faces, Dave, you know you're better than that. P.S. I liked the film, by the way. 3.5 Answers

The characters were lacking big time and the third act was incredibly weak. I'm really shocked people are raving about this movie.

DustinEatWorld

The movie didn’t grab me either. On top of that, I really didn’t care about the fate of the people there… maybe it would have worked better as a series. All the characters felt underdeveloped. On top of that, the film drops off significantly in the last third. 2,5/5 from me

Stevenstuffguy

I agree with Quinn, but I'd argue there are more problems than just the flat characters and CGI (Marvel always has rubbery CGI. I don't get why). I am literally on the complete opposite end of Oak's thoughts on the pacing; I thought it was paced way too fast. Every moment happened so quickly. It all felt so bland. Joseph Quinn was amazing as Eddie in Stranger Things, extremely expressive, but even a great actor can't outperform bad direction and writing. I genuinely don't understand Dave's defence of Reed's character - his performance is flat because the character thinks about all the worst possible outcomes? Overall, just not good.

Matthew Glover

So,i just felt like.."ehh,well that just happened." The movie wasnt bad by any means, but it just felt like things were happening so fast and nothing had time to breathe. Things kept happening then the movie was done. I didnt really like the performances by anyone except Vannessa Kirby, and pedros was ok. I just dont think they casted the right people for the roles. Especially Johnny, maybe it was just the direction they went, but that johnny was nothing like how he should be. The third act was where it really fell off for me. Things just became so rushed and pushed along,it took me out of it. The whole construction of the teleports, and the baby bait. As if galactus would really just walk into town and trip into the obvious trap. We see galactus only once before he even comes into new york at the end,so we got like nothing with him,and hes supposed to be the big threat?? idk,the movie just felt off,but like i said..i did enjoy it overall. Mainly the chase scene with the surfer and the crew while she was giving birth..that was a fantastic scene!! I wouldnt mind more, but they gotta make some changes with the pacing and narrative. A solid 3 for me,not bad,but could be better. great reaction and discussion from you guys!!

Jan T

I mostly agree with Mason Quinn, particularly about how flat Reed’s character was. I’ve liked Pedro Pascal in a several roles, but he seemed completely miscast in this. I did like Joseph Quinn’s take on Johnny, and I liked what little we were given of his banter with Ben. They both have potential for the future films. I didn’t think this was anywhere near as bad as the previous FF movies, but it wasn’t great either.

J Knight

This movie was extremely boring and uninteresting. I'm so glad you guys started doing uncuts because it makes it so much easier to skip at 10 and 20 minute intervals. They clearly cast Pedro Pascal because he's Pedro Pascal and not because he makes a convincing superhero. To be fair, the Fantastic Four were never all that interesting in the first place, though. They always work best when they're cameos in somebody's else story. Marvel needs to stop trying to reboot them and choose from one of the 7,000 other supes they could make fresh content about 😂

ShaniaBADDIE4LIFE❤

The Marvel and DC universe has never really been my thing and im not really in into. So i cant say that i liked or hated this movie. But i will say i was kinda skipping through the movie. 😬

CRAZEH247

Oh damn that's unfortunate Quinn, I kinda enjoyed the film. To each their own. That post credits makes me actually look forward to the Doom stuff.

Emilia

I agree with Mason Quinn so much and I could barely watch the after commentary cuz it made me so uncomfortable with how dismissive they were to his thoughts and feelings imo!

Gambit3838

If they knew the actual history of these characters and knew where things were going then the movie would've been viewed differently. Unfortunately they basically had no knowledge to work with like with many comic characters. Oh well. 🤷‍♂️
