I thought about that too, and I had already seen all of Season 2 before I started watching your reaction, and when I watched it with you guys I paid special attention to Slurp's right hand. He DID actually have a right hand in the scene with him at Pilgrim World.. but I don't know about way back at first when he was Slurp. But the thing is though he did kind of have a false hand, you saw him catch the arrow with it.. It looked like packed up dirt in a glove. But anyway. I thought it was funny.. Here we are thinking Slurp is just gonna be comic relief and he ends up being the big bad. LOL And there were storylines based around Lurch in the OG Addams Family show, but you know back then it was a sitcom where every episode was its own story and there weren't really any overarching story line for the season. There was an episode where Lurch learned to dance, and then another episode where Lurch's mom came to visit and Lurch made them pretend that they were the servants and he was the owner of the mansion. But it was a simple sitcom, not really the kind of stuff we see today. But the actors here really nailed a lot of the characters. Especially Uncle Fester in this show is IDENTICAL to how he was in the OG show.. Voice, mannerisms, everything. You watch the old show and it really shows you how deep they went and how much research they really did on the characters. Slurp was even the name of one of their relatives. All except for Wednesday of course. This snarky Wednesday is a new creation. The original Wednesday in the show was just like any other kid-- extroverted and not at all the dark Wednesday we see today, except for the typical Addams humor where good things are bad and bad things are good. But it makes sense though because children usually change once they go through puberty and some kids go through changes when they get into their teenage years.

I can't WAIT for season 3 of this and IWTV

this season wrapped up perfectly 🔥🔥 lowkeyyy was slightly better than season 1 especially the 2nd half

Kickinthescience

That Slurp storyline went deeper than anybody expected when he was first resurrected

Capri is not a Hyde, her father was, and we learn that she dated one too. Kinda like how Pugsley did not inherit his mom's psychic ability, and Wednesday isn't electrifying like her father. Capri must have gotten her werewolf ability from her mom

Tayler: “Kill me.” Wednesday: Saves him instead. Tayler: “Why?” Wednesday: “I missed.” (you) She saved Tayler before even Pugsley — that’s in itself says a lot! This was my favorite scene in the whole season!!!

“Tyler’s not gonna be happy. He’s the opposite of a redemption arc.” — Totally disagree! I think the end of the season gives a huge hint at a redemption arc in the next one! When his mother and unhinged uncle died, and no one is influencing or using him anymore, he can finally be free. Tyler is truly the most tragic character in Wednesday, and his relationship with Wednesday is pure dark romance!

I don't understand why people were disappointed by this season. I think it was fantastic. Looking forward to the next season!

I am one of those that is disappointed by season 2. it wasn't horrible by any means, but not on level of season 1 for me. I feel the pacing was off and plot as disjointed and didn't know which plotlines to focus on.. and each of the plotlines felt weak and fairly superficial and underdeveloped. overall left "mehh..." feeling for me

I enjoyed a lot this season! Didn't expect at all that reveal about Thing and I love it! All the actors did great :)
