Suki

I’m so excited for the second season reaction I see ppl disappointed with it but it’s bc they can’t accept that the first season is a prequel to the second season and that the first season was to show how Sieun becomes the way he does in the second season but regardless I love it! Can’t wait for next week😩

Dylan Hearts

Thank you for reaction to the whole season, it was a joy to hear all your opinions and theories, and character evaluations, makes the rewatch even richer. K-dramas really provides a great entertainment which also contains well written character studies and (inter)national issues to be highlighted in a poignant way. I'm very impressed by its quality (writing, directing, acting, editing, attention to the details - one of the best choreography fights is in K-dramas - All of Us Are Dead also crushed in that aspect), and I'm glad that you're opened to this exciting new world and shared experience of discovery with us all. Awesome!

Rena Unnie

What the heck, I thought my boy was deadge!!!!! :O

Loved your reactions to season one and curious to see what you think of the next! Thank you for the double drop! Also, stick to the Eng subs guys and not the Eng CC for the kdramas on Netflix. This episode wasn’t too bad with the Eng cc but a lot of the times it’s just so far off from the original dialogue and even adds extra captions to non-existent dialogue which can be confusing, one example, that line about Paris in the airport scene… While there will never be perfect translation on any platform, and it may not matter to those that don’t know the language but the Eng cc is such an eyesore to those that do. 🤝

I was at the doctor when I saw the post notifications and squealed OUT LOUD because of how excited I was. So glad you did a double reaction today. I can not wait to watch the second season again with you guys, this show is truly incredible. Sieuns breakdown moment in the hallway in epdisode 8 always gets me. You guys are going to love season 2. Counting down the days already!

ParkMinJeon

Season 2 is even more amazing in my opinion 🤩

Better go back to my comment on episode 7 to get a better idea of what you're confused about regarding Beomseok's change and how that relates to Yeongi. 😊 Once again, remember Beomseok was not involved in any of the conversations Yeongi had with Sieun or Suho about her backstory etc. I think understanding all of this will make Beomseok's character more tragic really. He let his fear of being alone and not belonging consume him. It's why he says Sieun should understand him (or that feeling really) and Sieun really does...that's why he can't bring himself to hit him. The people around Beomseok have really failed him and then the one chance he had to have something real and belong with Suho and Sieun, he failed them instead.

Just to clarify something about Si Eun's parents and the way Si Eun is in general. In episode 7, we have the flashback of Si Eun's parents arguing about Si Eun's health issues. Imo, this made Si Eun become "self-sufficient" and hyper focus on his grades, so that his parents stopped seeing him as an "annoyance", hence why he is always so focus on his grades and why he keeps to himself. As Si Eun grows it seems both parents are trying to get somewhat involved in his son's life but Si Eun keeps them at a distance, not saying they're doing enough tho. Season 2 will be a treat, I love both seasons, and I'm pretty sure you guys will also enjoy that one too!

Josie

I think this was briefly mentioned but the second season is actually the main storyline. Season 1 is meant as a backstory, which the webtoon didn't even do. They just did it in little flashbacks throughout the main storyline. But season 1 was meant to set up Si Eun's character to show why he is the way he is. To answer your question regarding the post-credit scene, and I don't think this will be a spoiler, it is something called the Union which is the main storyline of the second season!

Mari

Let's continue showing love to Choi Hyun Wook (Suho) and watch his other amazing Drama Twinkling Watermelon. I haven't finish Class 2 btw and thought I would with you guys. I'm excited.

PLMB

I know it is not what you usually do on your channel, but would love to see you react to the commentary of season 1 and season 2. Have only found one link for the commentary for season 1 with eng sub. But Season 2 commentary I think would be so fun for you to watch. It will give a lot of insight just a general feel for the cast and director. :) Season 1 commentary https://x.com/parkjihoonfiles/status/1842423567130198244?lang=en Season 2 commentary (please) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XixkTyJQkiU

I really am rooting for a Kdrama month! I know everyone keeps mentioning new K-Dramas, but we still have A LOT of older K-Dramas (2021-2024) that are AWESOME and have been requested on this channel. I really want to have Itaewon Class, Alchemy of Souls part 1 &2, My Name, Bloodhounds, etc reacted to!! PLEASEEEEEE I'm not a zombies fan so this month I am tuning in for the animated films and the 2nd season of this!! Anyway love you guys' channel!!!! Also kudos to the main actor Yeon Sien (not sure of his real name as I am typing this) but he won award for one of the best new actors or something of that nature, please feel free to correct me anyone! (Politely lol) but I love him and Suho in this film

kwonnie

Thank you guys so much for reacting to this series. I really appreciate every single commentary you share after each episode. For me, this season really shows the repercussions and consequences of bullying. Si Eun had such a bright future ahead of him. He’s smart, and because of bullying, he had to protect himself and it lead to yk which is not his fault... It’s heartbreaking to see someone so young and full of potential lose his future just because he fought back. It also shows what true and raw friendship looks like. This season serves as a backstory of how everything began and why Si Eun is the way he is in s2. Hopefully, s3 gets announced soon because the story is just getting started.

Personally, this is where Weak Hero ends for me. I was greatly disappointed with Season 2, so I like to pretend it doesn’t exist. Maybe if Wavve, the original producers of Season 1, had done the second season instead of Netflix (who took it over because of its popularity)… maybe I would've actually liked it - but I guess I’ll never know. That being said, I know Season 1 covers the flashback in the webtoon and Season 2 continues the main story, but if it were up to me, I would’ve left it as a one-season show 😅 I absolutely LOVED this ending - it felt so tragic and emotional. The way the character doesn’t wake up from a coma just to satisfy the 'happy ending' expectation, or even die just to answer the question of 'what happened to him?', was my favourite aspect of the show. Sometimes people are just left in a coma, and leaving it at that felt perfect to me. I loved y'alls reactions and had such a blast rewatching the show alongside you guys! And thank you for the surprise double drop! 💛

Tyler Guy

This was only the prequel wait till next season lol

Lauren

Si-eun’s emotions just letting all out at the end of this episode really got me. The fact that he was so reserved and straight-faced up until the end just hits you in the feels.

DaniiTH

Siun breaking that window has to be the best scene of the show for me. The way it was shot and directed was beautiful. All the kids on the sidelines and the adults right in the middle looking at him. Its just heartbreaking because every single adult failed the kids. Parents, teachers, cops, politicians. They only care when it affected THEM.

patricia jimjimcherie

Just a heads up for s2. Forget about the tattoos of the guy at the end here, in the end they didnt give him the tattoos in the show, so forget about the tats. This confuses a lot of people who are unfamiliar with the manhwa.

AngryJester

I love that Diamond D hardly blinked at all in this episode. Cant wait for you guys to watch Class 2.

Rawaby 1204

omg a double upload?? Love your reaction for the show it was so fun , about the kids in here and thinking about consequences , it’s because they know it won’t harm them that much , one of the most stupid things in the korean law is to basically not punish minors no matter how horrible they have done just because they are minors it’s their first charge they are the future they don’t want to waste their chance in redemption blah blah blah , there is a whole fictional show called Juvenile Justice where they try to make a fair judgement for juvenile cause they can’t do it irl , anyway i am curious if you are taking a break from kdramas or just this show ?

❣️ Vladlena ❣️

13:22 — “Holy fuck. He’s not dead, guys.” — Diamond Dave was really affected in these last couple of episodes!

❣️ Vladlena ❣️

15:41, 16:10, 21:36, 22:20, 25:54 — THE REACTION 🤌🏻🤌🏻🤌🏻 I enjoyed it so much — I can’t even put it into words! From these moments, I can clearly tell Diamond Dave was really scared of Sieun this episode hahaha And I’m sorry, but I laughed every time Diamond Dave repeated, “Let’s not commit murder” 😅 “He’s gonna put the fire of emotions” — you were really trying make a excuse for Sieun’s meltdown 😅😅😅

❣️ Vladlena ❣️

29:06–29:40 — when Sieun breaks windows, that is my favorite scene from the entire first season and one of the best acting performances I’ve ever seen in a Korean show! 31:28 — “It’s real” — You are so gullible, Mason Quinn!

❣️ Vladlena ❣️

For me, it was really satisfying to see Sieun beat the crap out of everyone except Beom Seok. Because he is a victim of domestic violence and school bullying. Being beaten for his mistakes is all he’s ever known, so Sieun made the right choice! Otherwise, it would really devalue the whole сonflict and their friendship.

kumamon

You guys have to watch season two it is so good and is the main story

kumamon

You guys are gonna love season two !!!!!

Dylan Algozzini

the reason the season didnt have a good ending is because this entire show is based of a manhwa of the same name, and "class one" is the main characters back story that actually isnt covered much in the manhwa, and "class two" is the actual main story of the manhwa. the writers of the show just decided to remake the main characters backstory to flesh out the story more before the main story actually took place
