Park Ji-hoon is such good actor, his acting conveyed only through his eyes and very slight facial expressions just suits slowburn style of Weak Hero. Choi Min-yeong also nailed Jun Tae's character, I like the chemistry between him and Shi-eun; the scene about "How I stop being a coward?" is heartbreaking because you kinda immediately think about Beom-seok who probably thought about this often and simply coudn't to articulate this to Shi-eun and Soo-ho out of embarassment and fear to became even more humiliating in the eyes of others. It's actually very brave for Jun Tae to ask this question so straightforward to Shi-eun, Jun Tae acknowledging the problem is a big step in change and sometimes we all need our own Shi-eun to tell us things how they are, without any sugarcoating or pretending. Again, great writing!

I don't find Class 2 as unsettling as the first one, and that's not a criticism. It's a much easier watch.

Loved your commentary once again. When I first watched this episode I did notice the similarities between Juntae and Beom-seok but hopefully you’ll be able to see their differences in the upcoming episodes. I think the perfect hint was how Juntae saved the names of his bullies on his phone versus how Beom-seok saved his. Tiny details like that make the show so great for me. I definitely agree that Juntae’s probably rich or gets an allowance from his parents that lets him be able to buy the bullies all those drinks and snacks. It’s interesting that Answer mentioned that Seongjae felt like he had a ticking time bomb just like Sieun. Excited to see your reaction to whether that’s true or not lol. I’m not too sure if anyone mentioned this but the production company for this season is Netflix so there will be some differences from last season, especially in reference to the person with the tattoos from the after credit scene in season 1. Don’t want to spoil but that person may look different in season 2. I think you’ll find Suho will always haunt the narrative this season and is the reason why Sieun does so many of the things he does this season. This series being based on a comic plays a role too, I’d suggest to treat season 1 as a prequel to the events of season 2. A lot of the characters are a bit more larger than life than season 1 as well and feel much more comic book-like and powerful. Excited to see your reactions to the rest of the season!

Can’t wait until you meet the rest of the main players for this season!

I heard Newton's third law as a warning: If you're going to act, expect blowback (equal and opposite reaction) It's so interesting that Jun-tae interpreted it morally "For every good action a good reaction. Kindness + integrity >> friendship and loyalty. Heartbreaking when contrasted with Beom-seok: insecurity + betrayal >> isolation + devastation

“He’s actually kind of smiling in this intro” – Sieun really gives people trauma about smiling 😅 7:03 — I’ve watched this show so many times and still never saw anyone sleeping in the same corner like Suho did 😱 Good catch!

22:18 — Every time, the reactors fall for that scene — and I love it 🔥🔥🔥 38:49 “Don’t cross the line” — I hope you caught the parallel with Suho! That’s what he said at the end of episode 1 last season!

Just a quick clarification: seong-je was asking "who was that?" About hyo-man. He wasn't even really paying attention to him which is why he was ok with the "one more week" he asked for. It was like he was saying "Yeah ok whatever get out of my space." To him.

Lindsay Wood

So many reactors start out season 2 thinking it will be a repeat of season 1 but don't worry it's not! It starts out similar to be able to show si-euns trauma and change of ways and the flashbacks when similar things to season 1 start happening. But things will be more unique after the first couple of episodes. Also, jun-tae I think is supposed to look and feel similar to si-eun and the audience to beom-seok as a way to give si-eun flashbacks and to concern us but don't worry he has his own unique personality that won't be a copy cat of beom-seok.

Every time I see Yoo Subin as the bully here I’m totally taken aback bc he was such a sweet character in crash landing on you. It’s so weird to see him mean and unlikable.

I really hope that you guys watch the s1 and s2 behind the scenes! It really showcases how good the actors are! (Also beomseok's actor hong kyung was in a new movie recently called "good news" and he has been going viral for his versatility as an actor)
