Would love to see yall react to the show FROM

I’m so excited, wasn't expecting this until later 😍 Saw the new season 5 trailer today as well!

Chloe Smith

Boy am I glad I refreshed my home page!

Jeff K.

Holy shit, what an early morning surprise right as I’m about to go do an hour on the elliptical and was trying to find something to watch on my iPad!

Jeff K.

When Answer said, “Never a doubt in my mind!” when Murray is able to talk his way into the prison it made me think, “Super easy, barely an inconvenience” and it occurs to me once this season is finished you guys should watch all the Stranger Things Pitch Meetings.

Olive_Sandy

Thanks for the early up load Dave 🙌🏻🙌🏻 great reaction - Jamie absolutely nailed his scenes. Can’t wait for the next two.

Kate

Crazy range going from singing about Joanna in Sweeney Todd like a sweet little summer child to our main villain in one of the best shows of the decade. Jamie👏Campbell👏Bower👏

Alex

LOL Mason Quinn's like that was the longest reveal, I was waiting 40 minutes.. I was waiting 4 episodes ago.. I thought it was gonna be then but I couldn't say anything. I was like OMG I can't wait to see their reaction when it's revealed and man, I even totally forgot that Answer is the only one who hasn't seen it. I was reminded when Quinn said said "oh yeah all kind of stuff is coming back"

Angel

NEEEED

Mason Quinn and DD would really like it I think!

Hey guys! Did you know that Steve was only supposed to be in S1? If you remember back, Steve saw Jonathan in Nancy's bedroom after she went throught the tree in the forrest to the upside down and then Steve and his friends did the grafitti on the movie theater about Nancy being a slut. Originally, things between them ended at that point and we weren't going to see him again or maybe a couple of appearances like we saw his asshole friends, which left Nancy free to explore her relationship with Jonathan. But, the Duffer brothers liked Joe Keery (Steve) so much that they re-wrote the end of S1 so that he could stay on the show. They started his redemtion arc with Steve telling his friends off, cleaning the grafitti and ultimately going to Jonathan's house and helped Nancy and Jonathan with the demagorgen. With that, he was now apart of the small crew of people who knew the truth. Because it was already written that Nancy was with Jonathan, the Duffer brothers decided to pair Steve and Dustin together in S2 which turned out to be one of my absolute favorite pairings on the show. The scenes with Steve being an older brother figure for Dustin were the best and seeing Steve step into the role of watching out for the kids. I can't imagine what the show would be like without him. I'm so glad the Duffer Brothers decided to keep Steve around.

So I have a theory that the reason 001 wanted to use 011 so badly was because he's actually her father, he would've been the correct age for it when she was born, in 1979 when the events at the lab happened he was 32 and 011 was 8 years old. Which means he would've been 24 give or take when she was born. But it's just a theory.

ElmSt Reactions

Answer didn't seem surprised at all that 1 was vecna lol

Cristy

"Good thing there’s no vines on the road." I didn't even notice until Answer said that. Great reaction as usual. Only 26 days until S5! Any chance you'll do a reaction to the trailer (without Answer of course)? It's so good.

Ginger

It’s possible too that his sperm was implanted in not just 11’s mom but the others and the combination of that with the drugs they put 11’s mom on made her the most like 001. I like the theory.

Ginger

I loved Answer’s reaction to the first fake out. What do you mean you’re taking a break before the last two?

Joey Schenck

i actually work at kwik trip about 15 mins outside of madison, i hear kate busch all the time at work lol

I love how Mason keeps saying the ONE big scene coming up. There are like 20 big scenes coming up over the next two episodes 😆. The part of this episode that I think gets over looked is in the face-off of Eleven and Vecna. Eleven tries to summon the power to kill him by trying to think of things that make her angry. As soon as she tries this, Vecna immediately overtakes her with ease. This shows that you can never beat Vecna with hate. Nobody can hate more than Vecna. Then Eleven thinks about the memory of being born with her mother and as she says "I love you" Eleven is now operating on love, not hate. Which is the only way you can beat Vecna. This is the same with Max in episode 4. When she thought of her friends and the people who love her, she summoned up the power to be released from vecnas grip and managed to escape with love being the driving force propelling her. It reminds me of the MLK Jr. quote, "Darkness cannot drive out darkness: only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate: only love can do that" I kind of think you can almost sum up the entire show in that quote.

Breezybaby

Maybe in the younger ones but not the older ones, there was even an article after 008 was taken from her family as a missing child. It's possible that his sperms may have been used but I think he specifically slept with Els mother because they would've been about the same age

Donna Castellano

The gate we see El open to basically banish One into the Upside-down isn't the same gate as the one from S1/S2. That one was in a completely different part of the lab, where they did the experiments in the water tank. The gate One went thru closed up.

Ginger

Are you going to react to the new trailer? It’s good.

ZuZu

I was genuinely expecting more surprise to that reveal!

ElmSt Reactions

Maybe he had a good idea but didn't want to ruin the surprise

Donna Castellano

Probably timing it so they can pick up S5 just as they finish S4.

Stephen Hert

This is my favorite episode in the entire series.

Megan

Unless I missed it, I'm wondering how the group is doing alright in the upside down when previous seasons, the air was toxic. Unless the gate entrance in seasons past was such a concentrated level of toxicity because it was a small area vs the open world they are in. I always crack up when we first hear the Demogorgon behind the metal doors because it laughs like Billy (Saw).

Donna Castellano

I've always just chalked it up to them not knowing if the show was going beyond the first season. Because I've rewatched a few times the last few months with different reactors and have caught discrepancies. Like Dustin mentioned his parents in one episode and in S2, it's just him and his mother.

Megan

I figured it was just something forgotten. It's almost like they shouldn't wait years between seasons to stay consistent. 🤣🤣

Megan

On the plus side, by the time they do get to it, the new season will be out.

Splint Reacts

I’ve been convinced through the last 2 seasons that Quinn has never actually seen this show… 😆

Marisa

one of my favorite tiny details is the design choice in the rainbow room, especially seen during this face off between El and One. on El's side, the rainbow on the floor is arching outwards towards One like a burst of energy, potentially showing her favor in the battle ahead, while his side of the room is not only severed, cut off from the rest of the world like he is in the Upside Down, but the rainbow itself is also upside down, signifying his role, it's just really cool! reaction was insane as always, cannot wait for the finale and to experience the last season with you guys!
