Regarding Dave's question whether most people would like this episode; It's definitely been the slowest episode so far, but coming into a show made by Vince I already expected this show to be a slow burn. I think the general slow placing of Vince's shows is what really makes them so great in the long run. I enjoyed this episode as much as the others

"DHL Guy" was a surprisingly huge hit in the fandom, because that actor gave such a fascinating performance and we latched onto him immediately. I don't think Carol's surprise at being given a live grenade is unwarranted, because we actually already HAVE seen the Hivemind disobey an order on "moral" grounds without commenting on it. Koumba Diabaté ordered a lobster dish in episode two, and they provided something else without telling him they would be substituting it. It was only when he asked about it afterwards that they apologized for not getting him what he wanted, and explained that they couldn't kill a lobster for him. I doubt Carol was thinking about that specifically, but she probably thought that in general there were limits to what they would do when asked. So she thought they were just playing along by giving her a plastic toy, the same way you humor a child who asks for something outrageous.

The Golden Girls episode is from “72 hours” where Rose finds out she may have HIV. In the episode, she has to wait 72 hours to find out the results.

MarisoL

I understand Carol wanting things back to normal but she's being wasteful in wanting her grocery store stocked, she's getting more bodies involved than if she just accepted food from them directly.

Loving this show! That episode was fascinating. “They” finally had to pause and question whether or not they’d give her something. I think we’ll see Carol testing the boundaries more and more.

This episode cemented my opinion. The alien is truly a people pleaser lmfao. Now I'm questionning if that virus is really smart, because, except tapping into the memory and knowledge of people, it doesn't have uhhhh critical thinking?

The writers should have named Carol Karen instead but maybe that would have been too on the nose 😅 It looks like she was always grumpy and complaining even in what should have been happy moments. I enjoy the deadpan humour in this show!

Kiss the Librarian

This is a great commentary on gun laws. We basically give people weapons to make them happy, regardless of the harm we see everyday.

DHL guy is played by "Robert Bailey Jr.",i recognized him immediately but couldnt place where he was from. I looked it up and he was in the medical drama "The Night Shift". Which i think is on netflix,i watched it a while back. He was really great in that show, maybe give it a go!!
