Manousos wrote "CAROL ¿ES TURKA?" which I believe translates to "Carol is Turkish?" because he misunderstood her last name "Sturka" as "es Turka". The question marks indicate that even he isn't sure if he heard that right. Ironic timing, last week I did look up how safe it is to eat dog food in an emergency. My research says it's not good for people long-term (Dogs have different nutrient requirements than humans, so their food is missing a lot of vitamins that we need), but it's not BAD for you. So you won't get sick eating one can directly...probably. It may still taste gross. My favorite tidbit for this episode is that "The Mayor" that Carol recognized is the ACTUAL mayor of Albuquerque. Tim Keller played himself. In a very dark place, if you piece together the timeline we get here about Carol being sent to conversion camp and her prior heroin use, and the way the guy in the hospital referenced what happened 'last time', it sounds to me like Carol OD'd after being sent to that camp. Possibly deliberately as a suicide attempt. Getting philosophical, Zosia is wrong that the Hivemind has a better perspective than Carol because the Hivemind used to be her. The Hivemind was NEVER Carol. It was 7 billion other people, but it was never HER. And every individual person is an individual. Can that perspective of 7 billion people give them insight into Carol's thought process? Sure, that makes sense. But does that mean they KNOW Carol's inner thoughts? No, it doesn't. People defy expectations every day, no matter how well they know one another, because no one person can see into the mind of another.

Thank goodness for this double drop. Flying home to Dallas from Boston and my flight just got delayed three hours because there's apparently a worldwide grounding of Airbus 320s series planes because they all need an immediately software update, apparently. So, getting two episodes and the post-episodes discussion is coming in CLUTCH.

I've seen this mentioned elsewhere and I agree with it 100% - I am so glad Vince Gilligan decided to make the main character of his next show after the Breaking Badverse a bitchy blonde white woman who is angry and dour all of the time - because that was exactly what many male fans of Breaking Bad said Skyler White was like and they *hated her for it* -- even though they were totally wrong. THIS is what the character they made up in their heads to hate so much would actually be like -- and they fucking love her. In their FACE.

Isn't dog food just meat and cereals or vegetables? Why does it gross people out? Serious question 😅 Some of the cat food I buy lists the specific parts used (like turkey neck, turkey liver etc), sometimes it smells just like meat spread sold for humans. (I don't eat meat so I won't be tasting cat or dog food 😄)

Not sure if anyone else mentioned this,but the woman who performs CPR on Zosia at the end of the episode is "Rose Estrada". She was the on site medic during the filming of "Better Call Saul" who actually saved Bob Odenkirks life. While filming an episode,Bob had a massive heart attack on set and nearly died,but Rose was the one who tended to him and saved him. You may or may not have known about that incident depending on how close you follow those kind of things. So i thought that was just a really cool thing for Vince to put her in the episode in that way.

She has to do what they did on Stranger Things with Will. She has to take her somewhere that she doesn't know where she is. Knock her unconscious in a peaceful way (like chloroform) and then take her somewhere that she would have no idea where she is, and there are no people.. Then ask her the questions there.
