The wholesomeness between these two is just amazing, reminds me of Pete & Ray from The Long Walk now that I think about it

Please react to “As You Stood By” or “My Name” in the near future 👏🏽

LadyReignOfDreams

Guys I know you have a lot to do but can we maybe up the K Dramas to 2 episodes when it's a short season like this one? And guys enjoy the happy moments and not miss them LOL. Anyway love your content as usual as a long time watcher! But I would love you guys to maybe switch another genre from 2 episodes or more to up the K Dramas to two episodes a week. OR add a 2nd K drama series per week. =)) Like the K Drama Alchemy of Souls part 1 next !!

Princess

Yesssssssssssssss ❤️

LadyReignOfDreams

I was thinking about "My Name" during this reaction lol. Hope they get to it!

Badd Medicine

Well I get the drinking alcohol scene but South Korea is known for their alcohol consumption. I’ve been there & I can confirm they do throw down more than us in the United States, & I’m not talking about beer they consume the hard stuff that’s why that scene didn’t really surprise me.

Aria Isara

I was about to comment the same thing

Aria Isara

What a cliffhanger!! About the drinking scene, as someone else commented, they are heavy drinkers in Korea. Not only do they drink on average twice the world average, but some studies showed they have a low level response to alcohol. They're also often high functioning drinkers, as in they get wasted in the evening and are perfectly ok at work the day after. I don't know about the realism of each guy drinking 1 bottle of that whiskey but drinking there is different from elsewhere.

Badd Medicine

Good to see. Thank you for sharing this. 🤜🤛

Take a closer look at the sushi chef guys. You’ll recognize him!

ciarn

No they didn’t

I wonder too if they are in the clear with this debt. But I think, once the boss will check the list of his newcomers. He's gonna see the quick pay and investigate D: Right now, he's too busy with that chaebol (ceo). He better not touch that ceo tho, it's my boy from the group SUJU XD (Siwon oppa!)

Something that always gets me is the exchange between Woojin and Geunwoo in the first 10 mins of this episode. It's how Woojin is asking for a favor for Geunwoo, he sounds desperate when he does. Geunwoo hears and is immediately wrecked by the knowledge that Woojin was willing to go to such lengths. Then, we get to the scene with Woojin's old boss, and he asks Woojin to be a bloodhound again, something Woojin confessed to Geunwoo he didn't like and isnt proud of in ep1, and here you can see how that question completely floors Woojin. He doesn't want to do it, but he was willing to consider it for Geunwoo. Geunwoo remembers and realizes by Woojin's face and decides against taking the loan, because he wouldn't let Woojin suffer on his behalf. It's these little details that made me love this show, not just bcs of the story, but because these two have insane chemistry and their friendship is just so so so caring.

I used to teach over there and would see average businessmen drinking together and barbecuing when I walked past after work (after 10:30pm) and then when I was walking back to work the next morning (6:30am), they were still there drinking...then catching taxis straight back to work. Crazy. It's not just the young and the wild who drink a lot there...people of all ages drink significant amounts. The police drive around in winter and wake any people passed out on the ground from drinking and make sure they don't get hypothermia. Drinking after work is pretty much compulsory too if your boss decides to do so with the team. Declining such invites can often mean the difference between getting/losing a promotion.

The end of these episodes are even worse than Pluribus 😭 Mid-punch cut to black? I'm gonna be thinking about this ALL WEEK

That fast food place with the tagline “Why pay more? It’s good enough” is called No Brand Burger. I see them all the time on Coupang Eats (it’s our Uber Eats), but haven’t tried them yet. You could kinda see it on a poster behind them but the Coke cans look like Campbell’s Soup cans. The spicy pork they had early in the episode is called 제육볶음 (je-yuk-bo-ggeum) stir fried spicy pork and it’s delicious. I love mixing it with rice and eating it in a wrap like you saw them eat the pork belly in episode one. The food and drinks here are all so good. You guys should definitely try to visit.

melrr

This is the same in japan too

It's the most upvoted in kdramas on the bm site so it's possible to be next up but I rather them watch something lighthearted next like attorney woo (which is second most votes). The revenge plots are getting tiring imo.

So have you guys (Badd Medicine) visited a Korean BBQ place yet?! There's one a little ways away from you guys in WI, it's in Loves Park, IL. But I highly recommend it if you're ever in the area👌
