(VAGUELY SPOILER-Y STUFF FROM 2x1; no big plot details or anything - mostly because it's too early to know what's gonna be happening - but just an FYI for people who haven't seen the episode yet) I liked this episode but it somehow felt both rushed and slow at the same time for me. That might be mostly because I'm a big fan of New Vegas, so only getting one quick scene in Novac, for example, was kind of a bummer (maybe we'll go back there later; was kinda hoping we might get some kind of Boone Easter Egg, like a beret up in the dinosaur's mouth, but didn't see anything). Also curious to know what's going on with Mr. House and... the fake Mr. House? I assume the guy from last season's finale is some sort of double for the real Mr. House, but we'll see. I suspect Justin Theroux's version of House is gonna be revealed as the guy who was sitting up in the shadows in that first season finale. I'm glad that they brought the dude from last year back though, I had thought it was kind of a bummer for someone to get cast in a huge role like House and then immediately get recast after one appearance.

Diablos Cafe

Pretty good introduction into the season

Hanniel Kouassi

I didn't even know the season 2 was out lol

Beatrice

I love your reactions and I'm here to ask if you will react to jumanji welcome to the jungle because is a very hilarious film

Alex

This was really awesome. Literally 3 minutes after midnight this was up. I thought it came out today, did it come out earlier? I was gonna watch the reaction last night but I chose to watch the episode by myself first then watch the reaction this morning. This episode seemed to move a little slow, but I agree with you guys I think it's gonna pick up from here. So at first I thought that Lucy took a drink of the flea soup but now I think that maybe she just pretended to. Looks like it. I've played Fallout 4 and Fallout 76 but not New Vegas so I dunno anything about the game.

LilithCain

New Vegas is excellent. Maybe a tiny bit clunkier since it's an older game than 4 and 76, but at least you don't have to worry about where you left your power suit. (p.s. I believe it's the only game where the main character is not a former vault dweller. Instead you're a courier -- similar to how Birdie in season 1 said her mother was a courier. And it takes place on the western side of the United States closer to New Vegas and the NCR...unlike 3, 4, and 76, which all take place on the eastern side of the country.)

Knightmare

Glad to see this show back. Something people never really talk about... this show is genuinely beautiful. I mean wow. Spared NO expense to create a convincing world. Such a rarity for sci-fi--and an even rarer rarity for video game adaptions! Love it.

Stephanie Bedworth

The town shown in the end credits is from the game. It's a settlement called Primm. I'm guessing we'll be seeing it in the next few episodes.

Zara❤️

The easter eggs had me screaming at my TV ! as a fan since the very first fallout this series is all I wanted and more .

Jeff K.

I never realized that the hotel with the rollercoaster is based on an actual place (but I suppose I should have since so much in these games is) until Ryan Trahan went to the real one for one of his 1-star review videos earlier this year.

Alex

Fallout 76 is pretty clunky lol.

Stephanie Bedworth

Yeah, a friend of mine went through Nevada one year and visited some places from the game since she's a huge fan. She went to Red Rock Canyon and Bonnie Springs and a few other places. Took a bunch of pics and had a great time. I was so jealous. LOL

Jeff K.

That reminds me of when Fallout 4 came out, it was like a month before Christmas so when I went up to Boston to visit my family for the holidays, all I could think about every single place I went was that game.

Jeff K.

Definitely recommend New Vegas, it's terrific. It's got some of the best side characters, villains, and factions and gangs in the entire franchise.

Donna Castellano

Having only played Fallout 4, I was really excited to see the reference to the start of that one. With the Vault-Tec guy going door to door, selling spots in Vaults. I'm most excited to see where Norman's story goes. Given we saw him, apparently, leading the Vault 31 people onto the surface.

Drew

So glad it was only a year wait . S3 hopefully comes faster

ElmSt Reactions

Good first episode but dont know why you would want tae watch the upcoming part, it just spoils the season

Gail Ferguson

Won't lie, I was looking for Boone in the background lol

Jeff K.

My big hope was that, since Aaron Paul is a known fan of the Fallout games, has expressed interest in joining the show, and has worked with Nolan before on Westworld, they'd just go ahead and cast him as Boone. Alas...

Matthew Glover

ill be vague as to not spoil, but in regards to your thoughts on which one is actualy Robert House...the fact that youre questioning that is awesome. The writers really know what theyre doing and have done some serious deep lore research. If the guy at the start of the episode is who i think he is,it wil blow my mind because that would show just how much theyre staying true to the deep lore of the world, and would also be a huge nod to the fans. Loving every second of this!
